The Unveiling of Secret Queen-Chapter 1742: Nathalie: No Need, I Know Who Took It
The two of them chatted for a while.
The phone placed on the edge of the table lit up.
Caryn caught a glimpse, reached over, picked up the phone, and looked down.
It was a WhatsApp message from Hendrik.
Caryn didn’t think much of it and opened it.
At a glance, her heart skipped a beat.
[Hendrik: Did you make that medicine yourself?]
A flash of panic crossed Caryn’s face, but she quickly regained her composure and hastily replied to Hendrik: [Brother, what do you mean? If I didn’t make the medicine myself, who else could have?]
After thinking it over, she felt it wasn’t enough, so she solemnly edited another WhatsApp message to send over.
[Why would you suddenly ask me that? Did Grandpa say something to you?]
She didn’t believe that Mr. Zachmann knew anything about the black market’s drugs.
Caryn swiftly steadied herself, her expression becoming more composed, even questioning Hendrik: [This medicine was developed by me at the Pharmaceutical Association, is there something wrong with it?]
She sent multiple messages over, but there was no immediate response from Hendrik.
Caryn assumed he was being sporadic and didn’t pay much mind to Hendrik, placing the phone back on the table.
Sherrina was talking to people from the Medical Association, glanced sideways at Caryn playing with her phone, lowered her voice and asked in surprise, "What’s going on?"
"Nothing much, my brother messaged me asking where I’m having lunch." Caryn casually dismissed it to her.
"Oh." Sherrina didn’t think much of it, withdrew her gaze, and returned to talking with the others.
Seeing that she didn’t continue to question herself, Caryn’s eyes unconsciously drifted back to the phone on the table, which remained silent, clearly not receiving any messages.
Caryn furrowed her brows, feeling a bit restless and uneasy, but couldn’t pinpoint what was making her feel unsettled, so she forcibly suppressed the uneasy feeling.
The prescription was in her hands, there couldn’t possibly be any upheavals!
With this thought, her brows slowly relaxed, no longer obsessing over Hendrik’s WhatsApp message, and turned to continue chatting with people from the Overseas Medical Association.

At the same time.
Caleb Dax called half an hour later.
Nathalie Quinlan, looking at the flashing call on the phone screen, already knew the answer in her heart as she picked up the phone without speaking.
Caleb’s deep voice came from the other end: "I had Robert Radcliff check, the page you mentioned is indeed missing."
He couldn’t hide his anger: "I didn’t expect the Pharmaceutical Association to harbor such people! I’ve already asked them to investigate who took the prescription."
"No need to investigate."
Nathalie was holding a small pill, the white tablet looked no different from the black market’s drug.
But actually, there was still a difference between the two; it’s just that those without enough rank wouldn’t notice. It requires a laboratory comparison test for a clear understanding.
"I know who it is."
The prescription left at the Pharmaceutical Association was merely a draft, while it listed the ingredients used, it didn’t specify the dosage for each.
She had just tried the substance Caryn created, at first glance it resembled her small pill, but the actual dosage was completely off.
Consuming something like this might not feel particularly noticeable at first, but it’s unpredictable afterward.
Medicine is a delicate matter.
Such small discrepancies can lead to major differences!
Having obtained the prescription, if Caryn diligently researched and utilized the laboratory for component testing within the Pharmaceutical Association, she might have been able to achieve something.
Unfortunately, Caryn is overly eager for success. After acquiring the material, she didn’t seriously research it but instead relied on intuition to create a fake.
