The Unveiling of Secret Queen-Chapter 1780: Fortunately They’re Safe, Successfully Rescued
Hendrik Zachmann punched the wall hard with his fist.
Blood immediately started flowing from his hand.
Great Aunt’s family quickly called for a nurse and searched for cotton to stop the bleeding, busy and in a frenzy.
However, Nathalie Quinlan leaned against the corridor outside the operating room, as if she hadn’t seen anything, her jawline tight, speaking not a word the entire time.
Sadam Vinson and Govert Griffin didn’t leave. They helped Nathalie contact the doctors earlier.
At this moment, Sadam noticed the unyielding chill surrounding the girl. He walked over and gently patted her on the shoulder, asking in a low voice, "Nathalie, are you okay? Mr. Zachmann..."
He initially thought Nathalie would be crushed.
Unexpectedly, the girl wasn’t as speechless as he had imagined. Instead, she lifted her eyes, her gaze calm and clear, interrupting him, "I’m fine."
Sadam was a bit stunned for a moment.
Nathalie took a deep breath, expressionless, trying to make herself sound calmer, "I just checked his condition. It’s just high blood pressure pressing on the capillaries, with minor bleeding in the brain, but it’s not serious. My teachers are inside; there shouldn’t be any issues."
Sadam was silent for a moment, only managing to press her shoulder, agreeing with her, "I also believe Mr. Zachmann will be okay."
Nathalie glanced at him and said nothing more.
...
Fortunately, the surgery didn’t take long this time.
In less than an hour, the operating room door opened.
Mr. Avalon came out along with Winston Sullivan, accompanied by a group of doctors in white coats.
Winston, understanding Nathalie’s concern, didn’t exchange pleasantries with others and walked straight to her, "Nathalie, we checked, Mr. Zachmann had a minor head bleed. We performed a small surgery to clear the blood clot."
He paused, a slight smile on his face, relaxed as he told the girl, "The surgery was very successful, and Mr. Zachmann’s indicators are temporarily stable! With teachers around, he should be fine. You don’t have to worry too much."
The teachers he mentioned referred to Mr. Avalon.
Mr. Avalon, being a national treasure-level Chinese medicine master, is exceptionally capable; such minor cerebral hemorrhages in the elderly are not significant issues for him.
Nathalie patiently waited outside until she heard those words: He’s okay.
She pulled the brim of her hat down expressionlessly, stood up straight, and very politely said to Winston Sullivan, "Professor Sullivan, please thank the teacher for me."
Winston glanced at her, seemingly puzzled why she wouldn’t thank Mr. Avalon herself.
Then he saw Nathalie with one hand in her pocket, speaking to Stanley Zachmann and Sadam Vinson, "I’m going out for a bit."
Sadam’s heart skipped a beat, instinctively wanting to follow her, "Nathalie, I’ll go with you..."
Before he could finish, the girl coldly refused, "No need. I’m going alone. Stay here and help look after the family for me."
This really made Sadam even more unsure.
But Nathalie is someone who does what she says. If she won’t take him, she won’t take him. After explaining, she turned and walked out of the hospital without looking back.
Her silhouette was both cold and graceful.
Anyone could tell what she was going to do.
Sadam watched her leave, feeling as anxious as ants on a hot pan, pacing around in circles, "Damn, what now?"
He directed the question at Govert Griffin and Nadya Tucker beside him.
Govert reacted the quickest, thought for a moment, and immediately suggested, "Mr. Vinson, how about informing Amadeus?"
Sadam clapped his hand, quickly finding his phone and walking out, "I’m going out to make a phone call!"
