The Villainess Married The Evil CEO-Chapter 150: This Person Again?!
Heavens must be playing jokes on her. Otherwise, how could she end up in a movie where the male lead was changed to her psychiatrist?!
She wasn’t in a novel, was she? If she were, she really wanted to meet the author and teach her a lesson!
No, maybe she was mistaken. Maybe Owen came here because he was a doctor. Abigail scolded herself in her heart for guessing and judging things without knowing the entire truth.
But alas, her dreams remained unfulfilled as Susan quickly broke her expectations and said, "Oh, you know him? He’s my cousin who will act as the male lead. Actually, by profession, he’s a psychiatrist, but during his college days, he didn’t have enough money. So I helped him during that phase a little bit."
Abigail cursed under her breath.
She was so dead.
On the other side, Asher’s brows furrowed deeper.
Owen?
This name again?
His aura turned colder and colder as the minutes passed. He stared at the man who had just walked out of his car and smiled at Susan. The director yelled from the car, "Yo Armstrong! What took you so long?"
"Please, have some mercy on me," Owen joked and said, "I was already busy as is with my work, but you had to beg me for this. What am I, your permanent employee whom you can call any minute you need?"
"But it all worked out, didn’t it?"
Owen tilted his head. It actually did. He was originally resting in his hotel room when he got a call from Susan, who begged him for this because the male lead ditched her right in the morning, and today, she had to shoot the scenes with the male lead! Of course, she would reshoot the scenes that were already done, and she called it a waste of time and money, cursing that damned previous male leads under her breath again and again.
Finally, Owen relented and agreed to her demand, deciding to take up the role. In any case, he was only the head of the department here, and he didn’t have to actually take up a patient personally. He only had to supervise the doctors here properly.
Even his assistant could do that. So, considering that he wrote to the director of the hospital and took the man’s permission before coming to this place.
So everything worked out in the end. Even the director of the hospital was happy hearing this saying, "This young man would bring even more patients to the hospital with his fame!"
So Owen had no choice but to agree to this absurd demand of his cousin. Of course, he used to be a substitute for several action and romance scenes, but that didn’t mean he still wanted to do that. He was proficient in the psychiatric field, not acting.
He didn’t even like acting.
But since it was just this once, he would let his cousin take the benefit.
Thus, he smiled and warned her, "This once only. After this, I’m not acting no matter how famous your movie becomes. Or else, forget about entering my place for life."
Susan rolled her eyes. She knew she could beg her cousin and make him agree later if she ever needed him. And he would relent in being a good brother to her. But she would never speak those words to him.
She raised her head as if surrendering, saying, "Okay. You win." She pointed at the car. "Here, let me introduce you to the villain of my story. Olivia Bennet."
Abigail, who was suddenly pointed out, felt her heart beating fast as the man glanced at her and smiled. "Hello."
Ah....!!!!!
That gaze!
Abigail sat there in a dazed situation as if not knowing how she should react. This person looked too similar to her first love interest from her previous life! Acting romantic with such a man.... It was too dangerous for her heart!
Damn, she was already a married woman! What to do?
Can she refuse the movie?
After thinking about it, Abigail shook her head in her heart.
No. Absolutely not! She would continue to act no matter what! It was her passion to become a villainess! How could she refuse to do her bid like this?!
Thus, she nodded, saying stiffly, "Hello...."
Wait a minute, I still sound like Abigail!
Abigail prayed that the man wouldn’t recognize her.
Thankfully, Owen only frowned and nodded at her before glancing at his cousin once again. "Where’s the female lead?"
"In another car."
Abigail released the breath she was holding and turned around only to become stunned for the second time in a single day.
Asher’s entire aura was cold enough to freeze anyone. He continuously stared at the male lead with a cold expression on his face. If it were up to him, he would have definitely killed the man with his mere eyes!
Abigail felt like her life had just taken a worst turn ever! How could things turn out to be like this?
One Nicholas and one Asher were enough! She was already fine seeing Owen as her eye candy. But how could this happen to her?! She feared if she acted, she would really become the man’s love interest for real!
Ah, what a mess!
She cleared her throat and said, "Asher."
"What?" The man’s voice was icy cold as he continued to stare at the man.
Abigail felt a headache coming on, but at the same time, she was both tired and angry. Thus, she glared at the man and said, "Fine. Continue to be angry. I’m going out!"
She was already facing such a scene where her own psychiatrist had become her love interest in a movie where she was a villainess! How could she have the energy to deal with this man? Asher seemed more bipolar than her!
Abigail huffed and opened the door, getting out of the car in an instant.
Owen glanced at the couple and merely raised his brows.
Honestly, he had already recognized from the woman’s voice that she was Abigail. He was actually very surprised. He hadn’t expected her to become an actor just to hide her real identity.
But even after knowing that, he still stayed silent and pretended that he hadn’t recognized her.
Knowing his own little patient, he couldn’t speak about it or else, her bipolar mood would react once again. Let her calm down, and only then he would talk to her. For now, let’s just continue to act like nothing happened.
