The Villainess Married The Evil CEO-Chapter 153: You’ll Have To Die Soon!
Finally, after two to three NGs, the scene passed without any disturbance. Abigail was mentally exhausted after playing the same role again and again. She finally realized how hard it must be for actors and actresses to act out every single day in their lives. But at the same time, Abigail also got a sense of pleasure after seeing how well she played the role, even better than this so-called killer!
After finishing that scene, Abigail walked over quickly to Asher to pretend to read the script, but in reality, she wanted to get away from Rebecca.
Just then, she received a message before she could reach Asher.
"Are you alright?"
It was Owen.
Abigail’s heart jumped as she raised her head and glanced in the direction of the make-up room where the man had been taken to. For some reason, her heart felt warm as she gripped the phone, but at the same time, she had a complicated expression on her face.
She had thought the man wouldn’t recognize her, but alas! He really did find out that it was her all along!
Sigh. What could she do but talk to him?
She finally sent her the text. "Actually.... I found the killer."
Owen, who was merely reading through his feeds when he got that text. His back suddenly went straight as he stared at that textbox with a serious expression on his face.
He wanted to ask how she found out, but instead, he typed, "I understand. Keep this to yourself. Don’t tell others about it."
In his eyes, the killers were already prone to disaster and couldn’t think straight. Being a psychiatrist, he knew how dangerous these people actually were who strived to kill people just because they could and they wanted to.
Those people’s brains worked completely differently from ordinary. Thus, he knew if that killer found out that Abigail was going about telling people about her situation, the killer would probably end up killing the woman.
For some reason, Owen didn’t want to see her getting killed. His heart would drop faster than ever, twisting in pain upon that thought.
But why was he feeling that way? He was sure he never associated with Abigail and nor did he ever try to think of her in a romantic manner. He had always seen her professionally, but why did his heart thump like this and shatter into pieces because of one thought about her death?
Wasn’t it ordinary that a patient of his died because of some reason? Then why was he feeling upset over this?
Owen rubbed his forehead.
Probably because of that novel. He shouldn’t have read it in the first place and remember his past life. No matter what, it was his past life, and it shouldn’t affect his present. He was very clear about his goals.
He took a deep breath and finally put down his phone, taking a few deep breaths to calm himself.
On the other side, Abigail bit her lips.
She had already told her husband and Asher. What to do? She wanted to text the man some more, but before she could, the director already called her out. "Olivia, your turn!"
Abigail sighed and handed her phone to Asher. "Here. And... don’t tell her that I told you about it."
She spoke in a whisper that only the two of them could hear.
Asher’s eyes darkened at the thought of the killer being in the same room as Abigail. But to calm this woman, he nodded and said, "Don’t worry. You can go without fear."
Abigail didn’t think there was anything wrong with his words. She merely nodded and walked away for the next scene she had to shoot with Owen.
On the other hand, Asher had already determined to himself that he would definitely do something about this woman. She dared to hurt Abigail, thus, Rebecca should be dealt with as soon as possible.
He glanced at the woman who stood on the side after finishing her scene. He slowly made his way over to her.
Since he was busy focusing on her, he didn’t really care about Abigail’s performance, thus missing out on her performance. He walked over and stood beside Rebecca, leaning against the wall.
Seeing him, Rebecca wasn’t surprised. She scoffed and said, "So she did tell you. So typical of her."
"What do you want from her?"
"What do I want?" The corners of Rebecca’s lips curved up as she chuckled coldly, saying, "Why don’t you ask your dear Abigail why she did what she did to me? After all, I’m here because of her."
Asher frowned as he continued to stand there, leaning against the wall, saying, "Stay away from her."
"We will see about that." Rebecca put her hands in the pockets of her white coat as she raised her chin toward Abigail. "Don’t you think she’s two-faced? Liking so many people at the same time, venting her emotions on other people, and getting angry enough to destroy places when she’s moody... She’s a full package, I have to say."
"If you don’t stop," Asher spoke coldly to her, still staring at the ground with a trace of anger leaking through his voice, "I’ll deal without. You won’t even know when and how you’ll end up dying."
"Ditto." Rebecca smiled, but her smile was full of maliciousness as she looked at the man. "You’re such a handsome lad." She scooted closer to him and caressed his cheek with her index finger. Her sharp nails touched his cheeks slightly as she said, "Too bad, you have to die soon."
Asher sneered and said, "If you have guts, come at me."
He didn’t believe he would end up dying so easily in this woman’s hands. After all, he had several bodyguards hidden around the place. Who in this entire world had it in them to kill him?
He scoffed and said, "You have no idea whom you are challenging, lady."
This time, Rebecca said nothing and only looked at him with pity for a while. Then she sighed and turned away, walking out of that place.
Asher kept standing at that place, completely confused by her behavior. He didn’t know why, but he suddenly had a terrible premonition in his heart.
