The Villainess Married The Evil CEO-Chapter 157: I will?
Abigail just realized what she had done and facepalmed herself.
What the heck was she doing?! They were just filming, ah! Why did she have to be jealous?
No, the main point was, why was she getting jealous for such a reason?! She didn’t even like Owen like that!
Abigail spoke stiffly, "I’m sorry. I’ll continue."
Susan nodded with a smile on her face. "That’s good. Ready, everyone? We will shoot the last half of scene 237. Camera 21, get ready. Action!"
Abigail hid behind the bushes on the balcony like the structure everyone had created. There was even a green screen on all her sides to create a terrace-like scene to make it look like they were on the twelfth floor.
When the two people inside received the signal, Rebecca and Owen started their performance. His expression suddenly turned soft as he stared at the lady, who leaned toward him and started cleaning up the wound on his lips.
"Jasmine," he spoke in his deep voice, "You-"
"Get the f*ck away from him!" Abigail’s words suddenly burst out before she could even process what she spoke just now.
The entire public who had been watching the scene was instantly silenced. Abigail’s brain finally processed what she had just done as her eyes widened.
Oh no....
She was so dead....
What to do?!
In a hurry, she accidentally met Owen’s gaze which was filled with 60% confusion and 40% amusement.
Abigail felt ashamed in her heart, but she wouldn’t accept her mistake even if she died. Nor did she want to dig a pit and hide. But instead, she wanted to bury this entire place so that the word of her embarrassment wouldn’t be able to get out of here!
She coughed and said, "There was an insect on him."
Rebecca raised her brows and smiled, "There really was. My mistake. Sorry for making trouble and not waving it away."
"No worries." Abigail waved her hand as she chuckled nervously. "I’m good. Let’s continue."
Ah, what the f*ck was she doing?! Wasn’t this supposed to be an ordinary scene? How come she was yelling and speaking nonsense without thinking twice?!
Why wasn’t her medicines working when they were supposed to work?
Asher, who had just observed everything from the side, couldn’t help but feel angry. His entire face turned dark as he walked over and said, "She will take a little break."
"I will?" Abigail tilted her head in confusion.
"Yes." After speaking those words, the man instantly grabbed her wrist and dragged her away right in front of the dumbfounded audience.
Everyone had a feeling that Asher had just caught his girlfriend doing adultery right in front of his eyes, but for the sake of their career, they decided to stay quiet.
Asher now had to know.
What’s up with this guy named Owen?! What was the connection between the man and Abigail? He had to know about it!
Thus, he took her into a private room reserved to her and locked the door, cornering the woman between himself and the door. Then he proceeded to put one of his hands on the door and looked down at her.
For the first time in her life, Abigail felt like she had suddenly transformed into a little rabbit who was caught by a lion, a very angry lion...
She shrank back as if trying to escape, but her back only hit the hard, cold door behind her. She cleared her throat as she tried to explain. "I really saw an insect."
Asher continued to look at her coldly as if he couldn’t believe she still dared to lie to him.
Abigail averted her eyes guiltily and said, "Well, how about we make a truce?"
"For that?" Asher was so angry that he wanted to kill someone. "You are already married, and as Olivia, you are already my girlfriend. What other roles and how many men do you want now, huh?!"
"...." Abigail looked at him and pouted. "I’m not a whore. Can I control where my heart goes?"
In fact, even she didn’t know why she ended up falling for three people at the same time. She couldn’t help but lower her head as a trace of frustration was born deep in her heart.
Asher’s eyes flashed with a trace of unknown emotion as he took a deep breath and took a few steps back. His eyes were devoid of any emotion as there wasn’t any trace of warmth left. "I see. So you see me as one of your three choices. I see. Go back and spend your time with your third choice."
Abigail was stunned when she was gazed coldly at by this person. She had been accustomed to be coldly glanced at by Nicholas, but she never thought the one who would stare at her like that would be Asher.
She opened her mouth, as if trying to persuade him. "Asher... You knew I was married. Didn’t you? I tried steering clear of you, but why did you have to keep bothering me like this? Was it my fault?"
Asher didn’t say anything because he knew that this was also his fault. Thus he coughed and averted his eyes, saying, "I need a moment to calm down. Can you get out for a while?"
Abigail’s eyes flashed with a trace of reluctance. She didn’t know why she was feeling like this. Her heart suddenly had thumped in her chest as a hint of a terrible premonition filled her heart.
She raised her head and looked at the man, saying, "You... Don’t go anywhere alone, okay?"
Asher tilted his head at the sudden change of topic. She was even staring at him with a worried gaze at the moment.
"Okay?" He frowned and turned his head away, waiting for her to get out of the room already. He was feeling suffocated in his chest.
Honestly, he never thought he would be affected this much by her habit of poking her nose into other people’s lives, especially the handsome ones. He would feel jealousy by just seeing her roam closer to Nicholas. And now, even Owen came forward.
How could he stay sane?! He was also a human. He also had a heart that thumped for her. How could he remain indifferent to everything?
