The Villainess Married The Evil CEO-Chapter 159: You’re Going To Die
Before Abigail could feel excited, Asher added, "But I don’t believe you."
"Wha...." Abigail’s mouth opened agape as she stared at him, stunned. "But you just said-"
"To shut you up. Now get out."
As Abigail walked out with her shoulders hunched down, looking a bit sad, Asher continued to stare at her with his hands in his pockets. His handsome face had an indifferent expression on his face.
He knew he was a bit rude to her, but what else could he do? He didn’t want to vent his anger out on Abigail. In fact, he still quite loved her from the bottom of his heart. His heartbeat still continued to thump louder whenever he was standing closer to her.
A sigh left his lips as he turned over, pressing his finger to the bridge of his nose, looking all exhausted. He didn’t know what to do anymore. Should he continue to chase after Abigail?
Wouldn’t it look like he was going to be on the losing side if he continued further down this road? In any case, the possibility of him getting Abigail was close to 0 in the first place.
He took a deep breath. It was time for him to revert to his original lifestyle with Abigail. But when he thought about this aspect, hsi heart started to tear apart in his chest, almost looking like it would end up dying if he continued to think about it.
The heaviness in his chest increased, making him feel choked up a little. He took a deep breath and walked closer to the window, staring outside. He looked down as he noticed everyone else, including Abigail walking outside the building. She was currently talking about something with Susan with a serious expression on her face.
Despite the distance, he could still see a trace of sadness engulfing her eyes. Her adorable face seemed a little down, but it still didn’t reduce her beauty. She almost looked like a female lead in some novel who had a halo upon her head.
He averted his eyes and pursed his lips.
Maybe, there really was some kind of halo on her. Maybe she really was some kind of female lead from some novel, and that’s why she was attracting so much attention. Perhaps he should find that author and get even with him.
Just as he was standing on the side, the lights above him suddenly flickered. He frowned and looked above.
These days, he had sent all of his bodyguards to protect Abigail well. Because of that, he didn’t have anyone closer to him to protect himself at the same time. Thus, a hint of uneasiness spread in his heart as he looked back.
The light above his head returned to normal, but that kind of eerie feeling still remained, lingering in the background. It almost gave him a feeling as if he were in a horror movie or something.
His brows furrowed.
Something was wrong.
He had a feeling that something was going to happen. All of a sudden, Rebecca’s words echoed in his mind.
You’re going to die.
You’re going to die.
You’re going to die.
Those words continued to echo throughout the time as beads of cold sweat formed on his forehead. He finally opened his mouth and asked, "Who’s there?"
But there was no sound that could appear in that empty make-up room. Seeing that no one was responding, Asher relaxed a little, but his eyes were still filled with vigilance. He looked like he could kill anyone if they dared to come close to him.
His heartbeat was still faster as he breathed in and out quickly as if he were a bit frightened.
"Maybe I should have gone out with Abigail."
All of a sudden, an unfamiliar voice echoed into his ears from the back. "Too late, handsome boy."
And then, before the man could even become surprised, a knife was stabbed into his back. A shriek emerged from the depths of his throat as his eyes widened. His face paled as he stood there, completely shocked.
He finally got back to his senses as he sharply turned around. In any case, his back was already stabbed, at the very least, he could die while seeing the face of his enemy.
But before he could even attack that person, the hand that had stabbed into his back suddenly twisted the knife to the point that Asher coughed out a fit of blood from the corner of his mouth.
The knife was left on his back, but the person stabbing it backed away, sneering. "You deserve a worse ending for getting in my way, but I’ll just make do with this for now."
After speaking like that, the person turned around and vanished into the dark.
The light finally stopped flickering after a while, but at this time, the person who was supposed to stand there was lying on the ground, lifeless. Blood poured out of his wound as he looked at the door, at the exact place where Abigail was standing not too long ago.
Teardrops rolled down his cheeks as he struggled to breath. Pain was so much throughout his body that he went numb as he swallowed.
Abigail.... He feared she wouldn’t be able to take his death well. He didn’t want to die yet... He didn’t....
Now when he was dying, he finally realized he still wanted to chase her. He still wanted to make Abigail his life. But it seemed it was too late.
Thus, as he continued to stare, his vision blurred and he finally breathed his last. His wide-opened eyes stuck at the door as if he was staring at someone in utter distress. His expression looked like he was completely depressed, and sad to the point that his face would probably make someone yell and cry at the same time.

A beep sound echoed into a white room filled with machines. Wires were everywhere, especially attached to a silver capsule in the middle. Several people in white coats roamed around busily as if they were anxious about something.
When that beep sound echoed, one of the doctors sitting in front of a big computer cursed under his breath. "Damn! Something’s up!"
"What’s going on?"
"Let’s check what the error is!"
"Ah, we had warned him not to use this machine since it wasn’t developed yet!" The head doctor who was operating the computer cursed under his breath again, but as he checked the error, his eyes couldn’t help but widen. "What the actual f*ck?!"
