301 Mission to Escort Dylan

Dylan’s negotiation with Alisa went smoothly. It was so smooth that Dylan was a bit suspicious but knowing how the white family did their things, he chose to curb this suspiciousness deep inside his mind.

There might be other reasons why the White Family choose them to cooperate in the first place.

Anyway, he will know more when they interacted in the future.

And when he came out, what greeted him was the sight of his friends playing card under the tree in the military barracks.

“Ah, I lose again!”

“Hahaha, then I can draw the next line on your forehead.” Lotte happily took out a marker and drew on Jake’s forehead.

Marc’s lips twitched. “Why did I feel that everyone is targeting Jake?”

“He’s the easiest to read.” Kyle snorted. This kind of game required them to control their expression so that they would not be easily guessed. But Jake’s expression was a bit too rich, making him lose again and again.

Kate laughed when she heard that.

.....

“I’ll win next!” Jake said with determination.

“Yes, yes,” Lucy said but her tone clearly signified how much she didn’t actually trust his words.

“Tsk.” Jake clicked his tongue.

Lotte laughed and was about to prepare another set of card, ignoring the depressed Jake who kept on losing.

“Oh, Dylan is done.” Jake noticed Dylan walking in their direction and waved his hand excitedly. Seeing Dylan coming, he felt that he would be rescued soon and no longer had to suffer from having his face written by the others.

Dylan looked at Jake’s face that was smeared all over and silently wondered how many times did this man lose in such a short period of time.

Beside him, Alisa was trying her best to stifle her laugh. Jake’s appearance was indeed very hilarious and being able to play around so peacefully during this time was already considered quite the luxury.

But as they controlled more and more area and suppressed these giant mutated animals, it was estimated that things would definitely get better and better.

“I’m going to City C,” Dylan said. “Will you come along?”

“Yes!”

“Isn’t this considered a mission for us to escort you?” Lotte asked with a smile while putting her marker away.

Marc also cleaned up the cards since no one would bother to play again. They only played in the first place because they were waiting for Dylan to finish his negotiation with Alisa and the other people of White Family.

Dylan thought for a moment and nodded. “Tomorrow.”

“Ok.”

He turned to look at Alisa who smiled. “Okay, we’re going tomorrow. I have already prepared the present for you for our private agreement.”

After that, one of her guard came forward with a large box and handed it to Dylan. He bowed respectfully and then left.

On the other hand, Lotte was seriously looking at Dylan. Why did she feel that Dylan was talking more and more when it came to business but he still kept his words very simple towards them?

Was spring finally come to Dylan?

Or it was only because he was preparing to take over Ice Blue Group in the future, so he began to take some business from time to time?

Lotte’s eyes were filled with inquiry and desire to get gossip that Dylan unconsciously took a step back from her.

“Private agreement?” Jake asked curiously. “What kind of agreement?”

“Training her elements.” Dylan glanced at Jake and opened the box. There were various of products that belonged to White Family. It seemed that one way or another some of their factory could still operate in this period of time.

Or they might have rebuilt it after a few months of adaptation.

“White Chocolates?” Lotte’s eyes shone brightly when she saw it and completely forgot what she was thinking just now. This chocolate was famous and she herself liked it very much. But for the sake of controlling her weight, she could only eat occasionally to make sure that she would not overeat and become fat.

Not far from Lotte, Kate’s eyes also sparkled when she saw the white chocolate. Needless to say, she was also a person who loved to eat snack. If not because Kyle caught her, she might have eaten a lot more.

Her mother also pampered her and often made some kind of snacks for her.

Though, her father would strictly prohibit her from eating too much to prevent her from having stomach problem.

“Alisa is water element.” Kyle thought of the cooperation back then and nodded. After the red rain, he could see that Alisa was getting stronger, but she was still rank 6. Dylan himself was at the peak of rank 6, so for Dylan to help Alisa train, it shouldn’t be difficult.

On their way to City C, there will be a lot of chances for Dylan to make a shot since countless giant mutated animals would be roaming around.

Dylan’s control over water element was more delicate and better than Alisa. If she trained with him, she should be able to handle these giant mutated animals much better than what she had done back then in City H.

“Want some?” Dylan pointed at the box. He couldn’t eat all of them and didn’t have much interest in most of them. He didn’t like sweets.

The one who liked sweets were usually women and in this group, he could already see two people who were staring at the white chocolates.

“Give me one.” Kyle pointed to the white chocolate.

“Me too!” Jake raised his hand.

After they got the chocolate, Kyle handed it to Kate while Jake handed it to Lotte. Their gesture was clear… they asked to give to their woman. The two women naturally happily accepted the white chocolate without hesitation.

Marc watched everything and looked at the sky.

Why did he come here just to be fed with more dog food?

He better stay on the bed and didn’t do anything!

It felt so miserable being a single dog.
