303 Training Elements

Bang!

Lucy had finished dealing with another giant mutated animals and looked to the back where Dylan was still busy teaching Alisa. There were fewer giant mutated animals around them because the rest was handled by the others.

After all, Alisa was here to practice and not to exterminate these giant mutated animals.

“Is City C far away?” Lucy asked while watching Dylan teaching Alisa how to control the water element better to fight these giant mutated animals.

“Not that far.” Marc glanced at Lucy and grinned. “It’s only a few days’ time if we’re in normal times.”

“With these giant mutated animals slowing us down, it might take a week’s time.” Lotte stretched her body. “But it didn’t matter. I’m more curious how the White Family managed to produce enough supplies for their industries again.”

Many other people were still having difficulties in regards to food. But the White Family actually able to produce these chocolates again. And chocolates contained a lot of calories, which was quite useful during this time since many people needed to fight giant mutated animals all day long.

They would burn calories faster the more they fought. The chocolates can be an additional snack during battle that would not hinder their movement in the slightest bit.

“There might be something interesting there.” Kyle nodded.

.....

He also had some thoughts in regards to this matter, but he never mentioned it outwards clearly. It was because he understood that they would only know when they reached City C.

“By the way, is it possible for us to pick up gems from the street again?” Jake recalled the time when Kate suddenly asked them to stop because she sensed that transformation gem. If there were to be another gem, she would definitely not pass the chance to get it.

After all, they all knew how precious that rare transformation gem is.

“…Not all street is rarely visited like before.” Lotte looked at her boyfriend speechlessly.

“I’m just saying.”

“Don’t hope too much.”

Lotte rolled her eyes and looked in Dylan’s direction curiously. “I didn’t understand how his explanation could help with the training.”

“What did he say?”

“That water element is calming?” Lotte has wind element, which basically made her able to hear other people’s conversation even if they were a distance away. Usually, she would ignore those voices and controlled her own element to prevent her from hearing many things.

After all, there were things that were not suitable for her to hear.

This time, she faintly listened to Dylan’s explanation to Alisa and felt quite intrigued by how he explained his element.

“How we control the element will not always be the same.” Kyle could explain better in this regards because he himself used to be a teacher. Even if most of his students were sleeping in his class, it didn’t affect his explanation that much.

They were sleeping because they couldn’t understand and feel bored but if Kyle were speaking in front of other researchers, they would definitely sit straight and listen carefully.

“Say?” Jake was curious.

“Let’s take you and your mother as example.” Kyle glanced at Jake. “Your control over the metal element is more brash and usually involve larger items. On the other hand, your mother will control smaller and more delicate shapes of the metal element.”

Jake nodded.

When he was practicing with his mother, he had already noticed that he tended to make bigger things rather than smaller ones. It was not like he couldn’t, but he felt that it was easier to make bigger things than smaller ones.

“It should be affected by your personality. Because you’re not the type that’s attentive nor paying attention to details, you feel that controlling small items are more of a burden but it’s not like you can’t do it at all.”

Hearing Kyle’s words, Jake was speechless.

He knew that he was not attentive, but did Kyle had to speak it out loud for everyone to hear?

Lotte was looking his direction right now, ok?

Kyle didn’t pay attention to Jake’s miserable expression and continued his explanation, “But of course, how you develop later on will depend on your training. This will mostly affect how you start your training and feel more comfortable with your control.”

“I see.” Lotte nodded and looked at Jake. He was indeed not a very attentive person.

She silently sighed and wonder to herself why did she fall for Jake in the first place? But it seemed that even if he was like that, she still like him very much?

Jake looked at Lotte bitterly.

Should he change his personality a bit?

“You can think about your own personality and not need me to explain everything, right?” Kyle turned to look at Marc and Lucy who were also listening not far away.

Lucy nodded.

She was a reckless person. For her, controlling the enhancement ability was easy as long as she beat up countless giant mutated animals. That way, she didn’t actually need any practice on her own.

Of course, she didn’t have to beat these giant mutated animals. Sparring with other people will also work.

Because as long as she moved her body around, she will passively activate her enhancement ability and continued to temper her body to become stronger and stronger. It had become part of her nature.

“Yes.” Marc also nodded.

He felt that he was more of a rational and calm person…

Uh wait, that didn’t seem to be true.

Marc thought to himself and glanced in one direction before turning his attention away.

“Marc?”

“It’s nothing.” Marc smiled.

Kyle arched his eyebrows but didn’t pester the matter. Anyway, even if Marc looked playful and calm on the surface, Kyle knew that this Marc was somewhat dual faced. But that other side of him was not shown most of the time.

Anyway, he didn’t want to delve deeper on these people’s personal matters.

It was not his business.

“How about your personality, Kyle?” Kate suddenly asked.
