The Werewolf King's Bride-Chapter 553: What I Fear
(From Blue’s Perspective)
I woke with a start. Shit, why did I wake up right now? I needed to see more. But then again, what good would it do to just see if I was not able to even do something?
There was no way Cyan would be able to get away. But then again, he was the one who dared to take steps to escape from Azure. If it was not for him, I would not have been able to escape that soon.
I climbed down the bed and before I could run to the window, a huge arm grabbed me by the waist.
"Where are you going?" Dem asked.
"Wait! I have to do something!"
"Do what?"
"Please, Dem, just…"
There was not much time. I was not someone who would leave someone who had helped me once. If Cyan had helped me once, then I would help him as many times as I could, until I felt that there was no more debt to pay. He not only helped me escape but also was beside Dem when he was in a coma. He worked hard that time. No matter what, he had been there when I needed him.
"Did you have a nightmare or something?" he asked.
There was no time to answer. I would explain to him later.
I grabbed his face with both of my hands and pressed my lips on his. He was caught off-guard. I took the opportunity to teleport where Cyan was.
"What the fuck? Blue!"
’I’m sorry. I will come back soon. I’m really sorry.’
In a flash, I was not with Dem anymore. I was in the hut, the same one that I had seen through Cyan’s eyes a while ago.
When I reached there, the first thing I saw was Lloyd smirking, standing in front of Cyan who was on the floor, bleeding from his stomach and he had a bad cut on the side of his forehead. There was a lot of blood on the floor. Two of the dark mages were dead and the other two were standing on either side of Lloyd.
"You should have listened to me, Prince Cyan," Lloyd said. I had never hated someone as much as him every time he opened his mouth.
Cyan was going for something inside his coat. It was when he caught sight of me. But he averted his gaze normally as if he had seen nothing.
"I’m not sure if I should be glad or annoyed that I have a sister who cannot mind her own business," Cyan said.
"What?" Lloyd muttered.
I closed the front door, which was still open, with a thud. The there dark mages turned their heads.
"Princess," Lloyd said. It annoyed me how that same smirk was still on his lips. His eyes traveled up and down my body. "You look more beautiful in the lingerie. Have you worn it for me? What an honor!"
"I see, you still have the habit of jumping to conclusions," I said and shrugged. "That should be a good thing now as I don’t have time to argue. My family is waiting for me. Let’s be quick and get this over with, hm?"
"Are you sure you want to fight me, princess?" he smirked.
I was too annoyed to talk more. I took a deep breath and felt myself once rising from the inside. The feeling felt familiar and just something I needed.
And I let it out.
Lloyd probably used some kind of magic, whatever it was. I did not care. I was too confident in my own power that I knew his and the other two mages’ power meant nothing against my power.

I raised my hand and felt the power flowing through my veins. I directed a force of air at the mages, knocking them off their feet.
"Handle that shithead. I will take care of the other two," Cyan said. He was already on his feet, holding two bottles of some kind of liquid.
"Are you sure?" I asked.
"I am not as helpless as you think I am."
I did not make a reply. I glanced at Lloyd who sent a long flare of fire at me. I lazily let out a snake out of my hand and it swallowed the fire, before spitting it back at Lloyd. He got horrified and moved out of the way as there was not enough time to defend himself. The hut was on fire. Enjoy new chapters from novelbuddy
I did not give him any time to recover as I teleported right in front of him. I grabbed his chin and made him look at me.
He was terrified but for a second. "You are still quite lovely," he said with that fucked up grin of his.
"I will make sure to remember it as your last words," I said.
The snakes, which were my hair just a moment ago, surrounded his head, biting all over him. I watched as he paled and then started to sputter out blood out of his purple lips. As the poison spread in his body, his veins turned black and he was now gasping for breath.
"How does it feel? Do you remember when you pressed that hot stamp on my back? Do you remember how much I screamed in pain? How many times I told you to stop? But no one listened to me. I cried and begged.
And then, you even tried to force yourself on me. Oh, how much I am enjoying watching you in pain! You have no idea how much I like it!"
He raised his hand as if to touch my face. I was not sure exactly why, but maybe because I was not a tough person in general, I almost felt bad.
"Don’t fucking touch her!" a voice roared and I heard a slash. A low groan left Lloyd’s mouth as his hand was cut off. I looked at my side and there he was.
"No… How?" I mumbled.
"Let me take part a little. I believe he and I have some business," Dem said and placed something in my arms. I was not myself quickly, but as soon as I saw the creature in my arms, it was like almost all my senses returned.
It was my son. I quickly moved away from the fire and Lloyd and let Dem do whatever he wanted.
I should probably smack Dem in the head. Why the hell would he bring Dion here? And how did he even know I was here?
Dion started crying as soon as he was in my arms. I realized he got scared seeing the snakes in my hair. They would not bite him and besides, the poison would do nothing to him. The same poison was in my son’s blood, just like me.
"My love, it’s Mommy. It’s Mommy. Don’t be scared. They are your friends. They are our friends, darling."
It looked like Dion was not ready for it. Now that I tried to return to my old self, it was not hard. Maybe because I had not turned fully. Or maybe I was able to be quick for the sake of my son.
I hugged Dion close to my chest to stop his cry. I heard a loud shriek from behind. I turned slightly to see how Dem cut off a finger from Lloyd’s remaining hand.
"Dem… Let him die," I said. Surely Lloyd was not a good person and he also did terrible things, but still, was it not too much even for him?
He glared at me. "Just go out."
I waited for a moment before going out of the burning hut. I made a way for Dion and me. The black strings kept the fire at bay as I made my way out.
I had made a protection shield around Dem as well so the fire would not hurt him. Dion had calmed down now and was chewing on my shoulder, trying to find my nipple probably.
"Do I get to have the honor to know how the hell is your son here?" Cyan asked. He was covered almost entirely in blood.
"Are the other two dead?" I asked.
"Bold of you to think there would be any other option, other than killing them," he sniggered.
"… Dem brought him here," I said.
"How the hell is your husband here? Did you make him another teleportation device? Can he actually teleport here just using your smell or something?"
"He can’t smell me from that far, Cyan. Don’t be dumb. He and I just have a connection. I made a teleportation device for him so he can come to me from anywhere," I said. It was because of Dem’s separation anxiety that I made it for him, so he would feel better. I was doing more than I thought I would.
If he still thought I was not doing enough, I truly had no idea what else to do.
"You know what? You are only encouraging his behavior."
"… I know. I know. I just fear he will stop being anxious for me at some point," I said. "I fear he will end up being completely normal and won’t love me as much as he does now."
