The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system-Chapter 623: Mafan and Ceraxes___2
Chapter 623: Mafan and Ceraxes___2
Alix was simple minded, she thought that they were going to fight in their elf forms and that was not what happened. Mafan and Ceraxes changed shape, or armor becoming different creatures altogether.
Both grew taller, with Mafan at 150 feet at least, towering over Ceraxes who stood at 130 feet. Their bodies were made of steel, or an alloy that looked similar to steel but ten thousand times stronger.
Crackling sounds filled the air as more changes continued to take form, even the hammer in Mafan’s hands grew bigger, becoming gargantuan, radiating strong energy that was capable of flattening the earth with a singe strike.
Suri was smaller in size but he was just as scary, covered in armor, holding a large shimmering sword in his right hand. It was also radiating with energy, one strike could split a mountain in half.
Even the trees in the forest fell down or were split into two, giving way to the two titans. Creatures, small and big were drawn out of wherever they were and escaped in different directions.
Obviously, they sensed the danger and wanted to e as far away from it as possible.
"Holy fruit!" Alix exclaimed. "What the hell are these guys?"
She looked at Majesty but the silly cat was fast asleep, completely unbothered by all the changes. It either had great trust in the abilities of Mafan or this was not its first rodeo at a battle between behemoth creatures like these.
"Alix, Alix, come in. Where are you and what is happening in the forest? Why is there a weird solid barrier around it? "She heard the captain yell through the watch on her hand.
"Keep everyone away, just clean up in the city." she answered.
Nobody could withstand a blow from these two, not even the strongest system host they had.
Mafan and Ceraxes stood at two opposite ends, their senses completely locked on each other. Mafan seemed to be patient, like the apex predator which didn’t see Suri as a challenge.
His tactic worked because Suri was desperate to escape and he attacked first, covering the distance between himself and Mafan in one step. He swung the sword in one strike aiming for Mafan’s hammer wielding hand.
Mafan swung the hammer up and it clashed with the sword, making a deafening clang. Red sparks were given off as the two weapons collided and when they fell to the ground, they scorched every leaf, twig and tree branch they touched.
Ceraxes moved again, dancing around Mafan with ease thanks to her agility but Mafan flew up, borrowing Alix’s dragon wings and he swung the hammer downwards, hitting the ground, making it tremble and cry.
"I have been learning cousin, you won’t beat me so easily." Suri laughed.
Mafan did not respond, his left hand formed dragon claws and he ripped them through Suri’s back. They ripped through easily because they were made of the same steel as the armor.
Suri swept a leg out to catch Mafan off guard and while he was dodging the sword pierced through his foot. Mafan was not fazed, he just swung the hammer out and it crashed into Suri’s chest. A blue light was emitted from it and the Suri’s armor shattered around the chest area.
Suri’s sword fell and Mafan’s hammer landed on it, shattering it as well. In his other hand, Alix’s gun that se had handed over to the game developers appeared. Bullets from it were fired into Suri’s chest directly. With a thunderous roar, he brought the hammer down again, striking Suri’s head over and over.
The movements were so fast that Alix’s eyes could barely keep up and she could not even count how many strikes Suri took.
A while later, the hammer stopped, the dust started to settle and all went silent. Almost all of the forest had been destroyed and she could not even explain how it had happened.
All she knew was that the battle was over and Mafan was standing victoriously over Suri, scanning his body which was recovering its former shape, the male elf.
Mafan changed as well, transforming into the gorgeous blue elf, not a single hair was out of place. He was calm and composed as if he had not just fought a battle that could have destroyed an entire city if not for the barriers and energy shields around the hidden city.
The shields started lowering and Alix was also freed from the box. Majesty sensed their acquired freedom and he opened his eyes.
"Is it over?"
"Over." Alix confirmed.
"That took longer than i expected." Majesty commented.
Between a sneer and wonder, Alix had no idea how to react, not that her reaction was necessary anyway, the sharp pangs she had felt earlier returned with vengeance. Despite the pain, she remained steel willed, wanting to see how the story between Ceraxes and Mafan was going to end.
She put a hand on her belly and slowly approached them. Mafan was on his knees, cradling Ceraxes’s body, head on his laps.
The look in Mafan’s eyes was not one of hatred or great disdain like Alix was expecting to see, instead, it was one of regret, anguish and sadness.
Ceraxes coughed, blood poured from his mouth, it was red, also not something Alix expected to see.
"You win." he said hoarsely to Mafan.
"Your death is not a win for me, it is the loss of a brother at my own hands which will haunt me forever. You should not have rebelled Ceraxes." Mafan replied.
Ceraxes laughed and spit out more blood. "Someone was always bound to, there is no such thing as perfect order, even if i die there will be another me in future and another, and another. How long will you live your life as a hunter, shackled by the laws of the ten lords?
Even if you become the strongest in the universe, with nobody by your side as brother, sister or friend it will give you no pleasure. Loneliness will be your prison Aalunex, i will die but you are already dead."
Mafan clenched his jaw. "You have put up a great fight, in our world you will be erased but on this one, Alix will remember you."
Ceraxes cackled. "I hear she likes handsome faces, show her some of my dashing pictures, i want to be remembered that way, not like this."
Alix was hit with sadness for Ceraxes, and she looked at him with pity, he didn’t deserve it given all the bad things he had done but her human heart trembled a little. He coughed once more and closed his eyes.
Mafan waved a hand over Ceraxes and he disappeared, even his blood that had spilled onto the ground vanished into the air.
He got onto his feet and looked at Alix who was hopelessly fighting against the contractions and wetness which was the major sign that it was time for the babies to be born.
Her attention was solely focused on the blue elf as memories that had been wiped from her mind started to return.
"You are leaving me, aren’t you?"
He nodded.
She gulped and forged ahead with another question. "When you found this world and narrowed down Ceraxes’s possible location, you wanted Caishen as your host, didn’t you?"
