After having dinner together, the two of them headed to Mielle's dormitory.

This was Dekan's first time visiting the College of Alchemy’s dormitory building.

After a simple registration with the administrator, Dekan was allowed to enter the dormitory.

The overall structure was not much different from the Knight College’s dormitory but the arrangement of shops and public facilities was slightly different.

“We won’t run into Alice, right?”

As they walked down the hallway, Dekan couldn't help but ask.

Mielle was a second-year student and had mentioned that she lived next door to Alice. They might encounter Alice.

If Alice saw her good friend bringing Dekan into her room, she would definitely display quite an entertainment expression.

Mielle: "Don't worry, Alice is currently in the library. Although she’s always been a serious student, she's been especially diligent these days.”

Dekan: "Are you sure?"

Mielle: "Don't worry, I know Alice very well."

Dekan: "That's good then."

Mielle: "...Why do I feel like you're somewhat disappointed?"

Dekan: "Why would I be?"

Mielle chuckled lightly and stopped observing Dekan's expression.

At this hour, there weren't many female students in the hallway. However, it wasn't unusual for male visitors to be around.

After all, the students at the College of Alchemy were engaged in academic research. Even during their free time, there were often classmates visiting each other to discuss research topics.

However, Dekan was quite eye-catching given his current popularity.

To avoid gossip, Mielle took a slight detour with Dekan.

She seemed to have a keen sense of whether there were people nearby.

Dekan followed her and didn't encounter anyone along the way until they reached the entrance of Mielle's dormitory.

After Mielle opened the door, Dekan finally got to see what a female dormitory looked like.

The dormitory's structure was similar to his own. It was also exceptionally neat.

It seemed that Mielle's lifestyle habits were similar to his.

"Come on in."

After gesturing for Dekan to enter, Mielle quickly followed and closed the door behind her.

Then, Mielle started looking in the shoe cabinet at the entrance.

"Hmm, my slippers are a bit small. I'll prepare a pair for you next time."

After searching for a moment, Mielle finally took out the most comfortable cloth slippers and placed them on the floor. They should fit Dekan just fine.

"Next time?"

Dekan was slightly puzzled. Was he going to become a regular visitor here?

"Yeah, and I'll also prepare a toothbrush, towel, and other things for you."

"Wait a minute, you're getting weirder with every word. I have a question - am I going to come here often?"

"Is there a better laboratory than mine?"

Mielle led Dekan into the living room and opened the door to the storage room.

Inside, a fully functional miniature alchemical laboratory was revealed. It was no less equipped than the school's laboratory and even had basic card-making equipment.

Compared to the alchemy classroom, Mielle's laboratory might better meet the needs of the two poison masters.

This place operates 24 hours and won't be disturbed by anyone.

Obviously, it's the best research place for them.

Dekan: "If you don't mind, I don't either."

Dekan's gaze seemed to be locked onto the laboratory; he couldn't look away. It took him a few seconds to look back at Mielle.

With such a great laboratory, he couldn't help but like it. His time spent with Mielle was also quite enjoyable. Although she was a bit quirky, she was overall okay.

Mielle still looked at him with a smiling face, as if she had already anticipated Dekan's thoughts.

Mielle: "Tea or coffee?"

Mielle walked towards the dining area and asked.

Dekan: "Coffee, please."

Mielle: "Alright."

A few minutes later, the living room was filled with the faint aroma of coffee.

Mielle skillfully brewed a cup of coffee for Dekan and placed it on the coffee table in front of him.

She seemed quite accustomed to hosting guests. Perhaps Alice often visited Mielle's dorm.

Mielle: "I'll take a shower first."

After setting down the tray, Mielle untied her hairband to let down her hair and smiled at Dekan.

Dekan: "Alright."

Dekan didn't know how to react; he felt something was a bit strange, but there was nothing really wrong.

After all, some people preferred to take a shower as soon as they finished their workday and got home.

Mielle just smiled and didn't engage Dekan in further conversation. She went into the bathroom.

Dekan stared at the coffee thoughtfully and then lifted it up, savoring it leisurely.

About ten minutes later, Mielle pushed open the bathroom door.

After cleansing herself, Mielle seemed to be in a very good mood. She had changed into pajamas, looking as fresh as a flower.

Mielle: "Ah, it feels so good. Dekan, are you going to take a shower before we continue with the experiments?"

Dekan: "No, it's not very convenient."

They were here for serious experimentation. Dekan was eager to continue their research in the classroom.

Mielle sat on the couch, combing her hair lazily, looking relaxed.

Her pajamas were looser than the school uniform, and the fragrance that emanated from her, mixed with the moisture from the shower, lingered around Dekan for a moment.

Dekan: "The coffee is excellent. Next time, I'll gratefully taste the tea."

Dekan leaned back on the couch and said.

Mielle: "Hmm, you've completely dropped your guard. You were so cautious at the beginning."

Mielle looked at the empty coffee cup that Dekan had already finished and smiled.

Dekan: "Well, you are dangerous and mysterious. But since I've chosen to be friends with you, I'll trust you like a friend."

Dekan looked at Mielle, and his eyes held more warmth compared to the beginning.

Mielle was momentarily taken aback and then smiled helplessly.

Mielle: "You're quite open-minded. I didn't misjudge you. Come on, let's enjoy a night-time battle!"

She moved closer to him, patting his shoulder with a smile.

Dekan: "Don't make academic work sound so weird."

After a brief chat, the two of them finally entered the laboratory together and closed the door.

...

They worked together to develop an antidote for the new poison they had created in class while exchanging ideas on antidotes and purification techniques.

Mielle suddenly remembered Dekan's poisonous card, the "Venomous Spike," which he had used at the Demon Academy.

It was a card that greatly interested her.

Dekan shook his head, saying, "Although I added a tier 2 shield against purification magic, it still can't withstand high tier purification. That's the fatal weakness of poison magic; I'm afraid of these purification fanatics."

He had a strong aversion to those who specialized in purification.

Mielle: "Dekan, have you ever thought about creating a poison magic that can't be undone by any tier of purification magic?"

Dekan: "Of course, it's our dream, isn't it? But even with my skills, I can't create something that completely defies logic."

Upon hearing Dekan's response, Mielle nodded and then said, "I actually have an idea. If we can succeed, maybe we can create poisons that can't be undone by any tier of purification magic."

As soon as Mielle finished speaking, Dekan's gaze was completely focused on her. He even put down the bottle he was holding.
