Chapter 126: A Training Incident 3

Zylus blinked for a second, then that hooded silhouette disappeared into the vast darkness as the train moved quickly away from that moment.

’Something feels off,’ Zylus thought for a second, taking his attention off the window and now to the metal roof of the train, ’Something’s very off.’

He looked around for a second, and everyone remained in their same positions. The same people who tried snatching away that seat from Zylus now walked to the absolute back of the train.

Zylus blinked and then noticed something.

"Everyone’s gone."

Just like he whispered, everyone who was once scrolling on their devices, texting friends, had all disappeared, turned into nothing but dust and emptiness that now existed inside the train.

Zylus stood up rapidly, looking around. He wasn’t horrified or scared at all, simply curious. From the start, since coming inside, Zylus thought it was weird.

He simply felt something wrong or mysterious in the atmosphere that filled the train. It wasn’t anything new or much, but he just felt some otherworldly pressure in his own body.

Zylus now felt it even more as he looked in both directions along the train’s inside. The pathway that originally led to the washroom was no gone and blocked, the side on his right, or the entry to the other row of seats, was also gone.

Zylus was now only in one row, and only one row was available for him to move around in. He couldn’t feel fear; he had lost that, but Zylus remained curious and then advanced.

He tapped on the walls that now appeared instead of the open pathway, but nothing reflected to him, no echo, no sound, no further intrigue.

The lights began flickering on and off, something weary ran across his mind, not out of fear but out of delight.

’Am I really about to fight in here?’ For some reason, Zylus creepingly sneered, still not able to sense anything, he took his arms out of the pockets they were originally in.

"Demon System, connect." Zylus called out, as his katana began forming again by his side, "Demonic Weapon Equip."

Particles began reshaping into Zylus’s [Demonic Katana] back on his right palm, as he gripped it tightly.

Stab!

He tried sending his katana into the wall in front, but nothing pierced through; it was like a barrier cut him off from the outside world.

He ran to one of the windows, and the train was still moving normally, but what wasn’t normal was what was happening.

Zylus turned around, the lights continued to flicker, and then shut off. He couldn’t see much, but luckily for Zylus, his vision didn’t do too badly in the darkness, so he was able to navigate himself inside such a tight and cramped area.

And that’s when he felt it, a Spirit’s presence. One that rivaled Jace, the third order, no, not even, one that exceeded his by a large amount. There were still two remaining orders, but Zylus didn’t know about those rankings; he wasn’t able to gain that much intel on the Spirits.

The lights flicked on again, maintaining the brightness it poured into the row of seats where Zylus stood.

He was at the edge, or the opposite side, while another individual appeared with a cloak, at the far end of this block; both of them stared directly at each other.

Zylus couldn’t piece together the features the individual in front of him had, because of the darkness oozing into the cloak, far surpassing Zylus’s night vision.’ Something felt incredibly wrong, so much so that Zylus stood in place, trying to connect the dots.

"Welcome," a creepy voice ran through the brown-cloaked figure’s voice, "To my realm."

That same individual opened his arms out wide, clearly arrogant at whatever situation they had caused.

Sharp nails appeared just in front of the sleeves that the cloak attempted to cover, but it was too short and cut out to do so.

Nothing else could’ve been known, nothing at all.

One thing was clear to Zylus as he stood in place, gripping tightly onto his katana, "Glad you decided to come to me, so I can clear you guys out, easily."

The thing in front of him, or the Spirit, chuckled, placing the inside of their hand into the darkness that covered the Spirit’s face. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞

The cloak’s hood remained, and Zylus began stepping forward slowly, moving casually.

[Demon System Activated!]

[Welcome Back! Zylus Elwis!]

And now, Zylus was faster and felt more powerful after the quest. Once he received those SP (Systemic Points), he balanced every point with what would make him most suitable for battle, and now, his speed exceeds Zylus’s casual 2,000Km/h.

He could now move at 3,000Km/h casually. Without using [Demonic Kin], and with no [Transcendent Soveriegn] on top of that. Not that Zylus knew how to genuinely use [Transcendent Soveriegn] in the first place.

The only bit of information that simmered through his muscle head was the fact that the moon had some appliance to it, the outside.

And now, Zylus was locked away from that belief, from that glow that brought him strength. The two characters who stood in the train were about to fight, and in this place, no advantage was given, no preexisting knowledge, nothing.

Zylus hadn’t prepped, while the other Spirit looked like they had.

Zylus continued to move forward slowly, trying to trigger the Spirit in front. But this felt odd; he felt as though he was placed in a separate realm from his own.

The cloaked figure began slowly taking off the hood of his cloak.

Zylus stepped forward, but as he walked, it just felt like an endless distance encompassed the vicinity between him and the Spirit in front.

Zylus continued to walk forward, and the more he went on, the further it felt like he was getting towards the Spirit.

"Heh," The spirit chuckled in front, slowly embracing his facial appearance...

"Let’s see how you fare," it was a woman in front of him, a glamorous one, "Against the second order."
