Transmigrated as the fake young master, I'll beat up the scumbags and b*tches-Chapter 275Vol. 1 - - Bai Family’s Past
The Bai Family.
When Bai XingQi returned from outside, she noticed her father had been sitting on the sofa, waiting for her for quite some time.
But the way he looked at her made something in her heart recoil instinctively.
Her brows furrowed slightly, and without sparing him another glance, she walked right past him.
However, her father clearly had no intention of letting her off so easily. A sudden fit of coughing broke the silence, forcing Bai XingQi to turn her head back toward him.
"If you have something to say, just say it. Whether or not I care to listen is another matter entirely."
Her father’s face darkened. “Do you realize the impact your ‘Blizzard’ has had on others? Ever since you founded that organization, do you know how many people you've become a knife for? If this keeps up, you'll drag the entire Bai family down with you!”
The veins on Bai XingQi's forehead twitched visibly. She maintained herself well—so well, in fact, that many mistook her for a woman in her twenties. But she was, undeniably, the leader of 'Blizzard'. If she didn’t have a temper, how else would she have secured her position at the top?
She’d heard her father repeat this same line countless times before—that she shouldn’t remain in ‘Blizzard’, that it would only harm the Bai family.
But to her, the Bai family was far more insignificant compared to 'Blizzard'.
“What happens to the Bai family has nothing to do with me,” she replied, her voice cool, showing no courtesy even to her own father.
That attitude cut deep, leaving her father visibly stung.
Bai XingQi watched him cough, yet showed no intention of comforting him.
“You still resent me, don’t you?” her father asked, fixing his gaze on her, the memories of the past rushing back unbidden.
At the mention of the past, a nameless fury surged within Bai XingQi.
How dare he even bring that up? Did he really not know whether she resented him or not?
“The Bai family belongs to Bai YongKang’s, not Bai XingQi’s. Whatever happens to this family has nothing to do with me. Isn’t this exactly what you chose back then? You cast me aside, left me out in the cold, and handed everything over to my dear little brother.”
"You know very well why I had to!"
“Oh, because my mother wasn’t your legitimate wife, right? Men like you are always the same—always ready with some excuse to absolve yourselves. Don’t tell me that back then, as the head of the Bai family, you didn’t have the power to keep me. Do you actually believe that?” Bai XingQi’s smile was laced with biting sarcasm.
The scorn on her face deepened. If not for her mother binding her to this place with her dying breath, there wouldn’t even be a Bai family left standing in JingDu.
As far as she was concerned, the Bai family should’ve been destroyed long ago, not kept on life support by a bunch of incompetent fools.
“I…” Her father opened his mouth, but the words wouldn't come. Because, indeed, back then—he had made that very choice.
Still, he had hoped that after all these years, his daughter might remember some semblance of family loyalty, enough to keep the Bai family afloat.
“XingQi, YongKang is your younger brother, after all. If you can help him, do so—”
“Dad, don’t beg her!”
A voice suddenly cut through the tense atmosphere. A man strode into the room, and upon seeing his father’s frail state, he immediately reached out, ready to slap Bai XingQi across the face.
But before he could even get close, Bai XingQi had already raised her hand and struck him down first.
A loud smack echoed through the room, and Bai YongKang fell hard to the ground, the side of his face quickly swelling, a thin line of blood trickling from the corner of his mouth.
Clutching his cheek, Bai YongKang glared at her, eyes burning with hatred.
Yet Bai XingQi stared back, utterly unmoved, her eyes cold as ice.
“Bai YongKang, years ago, when you slapped me and called me a bastard, I swore I’d never let you lay a hand on me again. Do you really think everything you have now was earned by your own merit? If not for the name ‘Blizzard’ backing you, you wouldn’t even have the right to stand here and talk to me.”
“YongKang, are you alright?” Their father got to his feet, clearly distressed, reaching out to check on his son.
Seeing this only made Bai XingQi’s eyes grow colder.
Without another word, she turned on her heel and headed upstairs.
Just before leaving, she tossed one last remark over her shoulder.
“Bai YongKang, don’t think you’re anything special. Men like you? I’ve killed more than I can count long before I even came of age.”
The living room fell into dead silence.
Bai ZhengKang stared at his son, and for a moment, he truly didn’t know whether the decision he’d made all those years ago had been right or wrong.
Back then, under the weight of family pressure, the elders refused to allow Bai XingQi to remain in the household. To them, she was a stain, a blemish the Bai family could not bear—a child born of a dance girl.
Yet no one could’ve predicted that years later, Bai XingQi would rise from within ‘Blizzard’, not just as a member, but as its leader. What she endured to reach that point, no one knew. But from her words just now, one thing was certain—her hands were stained with more blood than anyone could imagine.
Bai ZhengKang slowly turned to his son, letting out a long sigh.
“YongKang, she’s right. The Bai family stands today because of her.”
“Dad… even you think so?!” Bai YongKang’s voice trembled with disbelief. He couldn’t believe his own father had no intention of siding with him.

“Then tell me—if it weren’t for her, would you have survived the Gu family’s retaliation back then? You wanted to strike while they were weak, take advantage of their internal strife. But what happened? You let Gu WeiYi live, and his wife was severely injured because of you! For that alone, the Gu family would never spare you!”
Bai YongKang’s head slowly lowered, fists clenched tightly at his sides.
But Bai ZhengKang wasn’t done.
“If XingQi hadn’t offered to quell the Gu family’s infighting, the Bai family would've long been erased from existence.”
“But if not for her, the Gu family would’ve fallen apart already!”
“Foolishness!” Bai Zhengkang snapped, unable to hold back his fury.
“Do you really think Gu WeiJun and Gu WeiYi are fools? Even if ‘Blizzard’ hadn’t intervened, someone else would’ve come to help them. By then, their internal strife was almost settled; they just needed to make an example of a few stubborn remnants. You couldn’t even see that clearly. Honestly, I’m starting to wonder if entrusting the Bai family to you was a mistake.”
His chest heaved with suppressed rage, on the verge of passing out from sheer frustration.
Though thoroughly scolded, Bai YongKang showed no sign of backing down.
There was no way he’d allow that woman to trample over him—not now, not ever!
She took pride in her 'Blizzard', didn't she?
Fine. He’d destroy 'Blizzard' himself.
He needed to find that person—the one who had once given him advice!
