Transmigrated As The Final Villain of a Death Game-Chapter 157: The Divine Healer [ 4 ]
In just 30 minutes, I saw at least 10 potions scattered on the table, all of which looked like they would kill me if I drank them.
Though Adam handled all those potions with precision, he used the alchemical burner to brew everything.
And now that it was all done, he reached into his dimensional ring and pulled out a massive cauldron.
Then, he wagged his finger at me and gestured for me to follow him outside, which was what I did.
Plopping the cauldron down as far away from his home as possible, he filled 80% of it with water, and then the rest with all the poisons he brewed.
"Stir it yourself. Once it’s pitch black, take off all your clothes and jump in."
At his words, I raised my brow.
"I saw you mention acid... Isn’t this a little bit too dangerous?"
"As dangerous as pissing off the person who has their life in your hands," Adam replied.
I let out a sigh.
"Once Aliyah comes back, you’ll be thanking me."
As if he wasn’t petty already, he tossed me a small stick, and after subtly showing me the middle finger, he went back to his hut, slamming the door shut.
Staring at the stick, I felt like beating him up.
But then again, even if he’s a healer, he’s still around Grade 60 in power.
He would probably beat my ass instead.
So like the kind, gentle, and pacifistic person that I was, I decided to just roll with it.
Taking out a few Clorafite Weapons, I turned them into a giant spoon and began stirring.
After just 10 minutes, the poisons mixed together, and the liquid turned black.
I stared at it for a bit, then took off my shirt and pants, and right as I was about to take my underwear off as well, I slightly turned my head back to the hut, spotting Clementine who stared at me through the window.
She wore a smirk on her face, but once she realized that I saw her, she immediately closed the blinds.
What a silly idiot.
I took my underwear off, then with my Telekinesis, I hovered over the bubbling cauldron, until finally mustering up the courage to submerge myself.
The moment my feet touched the liquid, I heard a crack, followed by my skin ripping off, revealing shattered bone.
At first, my eyes widened in shock at what I was seeing.
Though not long after, the agonizing pain of having my skin boiled and ripped off hit me, causing my vision to blur, and my senses to scream at me to back off.
But I didn’t.
Even with my body being torn apart and boiled alive, I continued lowering myself, until eventually, half of my body was submerged.
Then, with one final deep breath, I submerged the rest of my body under the poison and began enduring the full brunt of this torture.
Not before protecting my beard, hair, and eyebrows with Telekinesis, of course.

[Clementine’s POV]
Staring at Amon’s skin bubbling and peeling off, my heart dropped.
But just as I was about to run out of the hut, Adam placed a hand on my shoulder and shook his head.
"Don’t worry about him. He regenerates faster than the poison can damage him."
"But—"
"It’s fine."
He let out a sigh and backed off.
"With that unnaturally high mental resilience of his, he would probably jump into a volcano if you told him it’d give him power."
Haah?
Who does he think he is?
"Don’t badmouth Amon." 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦
Someone so stupid and selfish has no right to badmouth him.
"It was a compliment."
He met my eyes.
"I’m saying his mental resilience is too high for an ordinary person."
The moment Adam said that, I was immediately reminded of something.
The reason why Amon suggested visiting this guy in the first place.
"What does it mean when someone blanks out, but is still conscious?"
"You ought to be a bit more specific."
At his words, I fell into thought for a moment.
Amon had talked about it a few times in bed, so I knew all the details.
And since Amon might’ve forgotten about it...
"Back before his horns became permanent, he kept blanking out and becoming very ruthless."
"He said it’s like someone else takes his place, and while he can take back control, he mentioned that he didn’t feel like he needed to, since every time this has happened, the situation needed ruthlessness."
Adam stared at me for a moment, then walked over to his chair and sat down.
He was silent for a bit, and I got a little worried that it was something really bad.
"Before I start brainstorming, I must ask. Do you know the reason behind his demonization and high mental resilience?"
I nodded.
What I didn’t expect, though, was his next question.
"Tell me all about the reasons."
"...What?"
"If you want me to help him, I need to know the root and cause. I’m a doctor, and I don’t share my patients’ information with anyone else. Everything you tell me stays with me. I give you my word."
"..."
Can I trust him?
I’m not the best judge of people like Amon.
And Amon did just expose Adam in front of Aliyah.
But out of everyone in the world, I felt like Adam was one of the only people who might be able to help.
And so, I slowly began to explain Amon’s circumstances.
All the details of the Project, and more importantly, the 100 years Amon had spent all alone, which made his Mental Resistance reach the max level.
And when I was finally finished, Adam just stared at me in shock.
"Oh dear..."
He almost fell off his chair.
"You’re telling me he drank and absorbed the unpurified blood of a Demon King?"
"Not only that... His human mind endured 100 years in sensory deprivation? Shit."
He shook his head.
"None of those should be possible."
But seeing my silence, he merely closed his eyes and took a breath.
"Alright."
"Based on what you told me, I have an idea on what the problem might be."
"Just promise me that no matter what, you won’t tell Amon..."
