Transmigrated Into the World of Magic and Swords-Chapter 139: Serve You Right, You Vile Traitor!
Chapter 139: Serve You Right, You Vile Traitor!
’She is a princess?’
Ren didn’t know Zaria’s identity because they only met once.
’Wait.’
He noticed something.
’Was, not is? Don’t tell me...’
Based on her identity and the situation, he suspected it was a fight for the throne. freewebnσvel.cøm
The assassins were sent by other princesses or princes, and Daniel betrayed her.
He also suspected that Daniel was the one who leaked information about her whereabouts to other princesses or princes, causing her to almost lose herself.
"Sure." Ren stored his Aether Weapon in his space ring and approached the corpses of the assassins.
He let her deal with Daniel for two reasons.
First, Luna only asked him to save Zaria and Ariana. And lastly, he wanted to take the assassins’ space rings.
They were the subordinates of a prince or a princess, so their space rings should have many valuable items.
"Princes Zaria, please forgive me. I was forced to do this. The second prince threatened me before, saying he would kill me if I didn’t do what he said. Please give me one more chance. I promise, I won’t betray you again." Daniel made up a story because this was the only way to save himself.
"Don’t forgive him, princess. A traitor doesn’t deserve a second chance. Sparing his life is like drinking a poison." Ariana wanted Zaria to kill Daniel immediately because they should show no mercy to a traitor.
"Old woma-"Daniel stopped his words halfway and corrected it. "Ariana, how could you say something like that? I also didn’t want to do this. I was forced to do this. How could you be so cruel to me?"
"Bullshit!" Ariana didn’t believe every single word that came out of his mouth because the words of a traitor could not be trusted.
They would lie or make up stories if the situation was not in their favor because that was the true nature of their personality.
"Ariana, you would have done the same If you were in my shoes. I really had no choice." Daniel shifted his attention to Zaria. "Princess, please believe me. I’m not lying."
"Daniel, where did your previous attitude go?" Zaria wanted to laugh when she saw him.
He previously acted arrogantly and cruelly. He even mocked her, saying she was a fool and a naïve princess.
But now, he looked completely like a different person.
His previous arrogant behavior was nowhere to be seen. It was replaced by a pathetic and disgusting attitude.
Of course, she knew why his behavior changed completely.
Ren had killed all the assassins, and his life was in her hands, so the change in his attitude was to be expected because he would lose his life if he still acted arrogantly like before.
"Why didn’t you call me a stupid princess like before?" Zaria asked with her voice sharp, "Is it because all the assassins are dead?"
"I didn’t mean it when I said cruel things to you, princess. It was all an act." Daniel made another excuse. "If Mason or the others suspected anything, the second prince would kill me. Princess, please forgive me and give me another chance."
"Princess, just kill him immediately." Ariana felt disgusted when she saw Daniel’s pleading face, especially when she heard his lies.
Zaria raised her right palm slightly and spoke, "Ariana, give me your dagger."
"Here, princess." Ariana gave one of her daggers happily because she really wanted Daniel to die.
"Pri...princess, I know I was wrong but please give me one last chance." his body shook with fear when he saw Zaria holding a dagger.
"Daniel, you need to pay for your actions." they would have died if Ren hadn’t shown up and helped them, so there was no way Zaria would forgive him.
She would treat her subordinates nicely, but she would show no mercy to her enemy, especially to a traitor like him.
Daniel dragged his body backward, and his voice was edged with fear. "No! Please don’t kill me, princess. Please, forgi-uak. "
He could not finish his words because Zaria sliced his neck.
Ren, who was watching them and crossing his arms over his chest, smiled in satisfaction.
He liked what she was doing because he would do the same if he were in her shoes because a traitor didn’t deserve to be forgiven.
"Serve you right, you vile traitor!" Ariana smiled happily when she saw Daniel’s corpse.
Zaria gave him a new life and a place to live, yet he dared to betray her, so death was the right punishment for him because the severity of his mistake was so immense.
After giving the dagger to Ariana, Zaria approached Ren, followed by Ariana.
"Thank you for saving us." Zaria expressed her gratitude from the bottom of her heart.
"Thank you for saving us." Ariana expressed her gratitude, too.
Ren stopped leaning against a tree and smiled at them, "You should thank Luna instead."
"Luna?" Zaria and Ariana didn’t know who Luna was.
"She is in our carriage now." Ren responded, "Do you want to meet her?"
"Yes." Zaria and Ariana answered in unison.
Then, Ren took them to their carriage.
"Big brother!" Luna rushed toward him with a happy face, followed by Scarlett and Lexie.
Zaria and Ariana exchanged a glance when they saw Luna.
’It’s that adorable kid!’
They still remembered Luna because she was so adorable.
"She is Luna." Ren introduced Luna to them. "She was the one who asked me to save you."
"Veil big sister, granny, are you alright?" Luna inquired.
"We are fine." Zaria smiled softly at Luna, but Luna could not see it because she was wearing a veil.
"We are fine because of you, young lady." Ariana added.
"Thank god!" Luna was happy to hear it.
"Do you know who sent them?" Ren inquired.
"Yes, we do." Zaria answered, "They are the subordinates of my second brother."
"They are prince Edward’s subordinates." Ariana made it clearer.
"Prince?" Lexie was startled because she previously thought they were from an ordinary family.
"My princes’ name is Zaria Ashbourne. She is the first princes of Veneian Kingdom." Ariana introduced Zaria to them.
"Please rest assured. I will deal with my brother later. I won’t let him harm you or your family." Zaria would kill Edward after returning to their kingdom because he crossed the line first.
"Then, why did you leave your kingdom and endanger yourself?" Lexie asked curiously.
Zaria and Ariana didn’t answer immediately; instead, they exchanged a glance with each other.
’Should we tell them about it?’
They left the kingdom for a reason, and that reason could make them stronger.
"We want to visit the Moon God Temple." After thinking for several seconds, Zaria decided to give an honest answer because Ren had saved their lives.
"Moon God Temple?" Lexie and the others were shocked because they believed there was no Moon God Temple in the Vlizica Continent.
"Yes." Zaria began telling them everything.
She said a powerful person came to Vlizica Continent five hundred years ago. That person put all his treasure in his temple before dying.
"Last month, there was a rumor that someone had found the door to the temple and was trying to open it." Zaria said, "We also want to try our luck. Maybe, we can get many good things in his temple."
Ren’s heart throbbed with happiness.
’Temple? Treasure?’
Even though he had a lot of money, he still loved treasure.
"Can you tell me where his temple is?" he inquired.
