Transmigrating from a zombie world to become the mecha kings wife-Chapter 409: Beautifully weird
Chapter 409: Beautifully weird
As promised, Scarlet sent the first images of herself in the yellow body suit. She paired it with a belt, and black high heeled boots.
As for her hair, she went with her signature pony tail, though shorter now than it used to be.
"Damn, my wife is a hottie." Esong sent a voice message.
"You know it." She replied.
Confidently she strode out of the hotel room and met up with Adler and Fey at the space port owned by the hotel.
Adler wore a blue body suit, not as tight as hers of Fey’s grey one. Adler added a cloak over his bodysuit, one with the mark of their noble house.
"Do you remember everything that we discussed earlier?" He asked her.
Scarlet nodded firmly, "Mm," she answered.
The same car which brought them there, set off for another predetermined destination, the home of the high lord of the Zordin empire.
In the car, as they listened to the unfamiliar music of artists from planet Zord, Scarlet’s stomach rumbled.
"Is it just me or is anyone else here hungry?" She asked them.
"You are not alone sister, I sure do hope that whatever feast has been prepared will satisfy me." Fey replied.
"If we are not satisfied we can raid our sister’s storage bracelet." Adler suggested. "You won’t let us starve, will you?"
Scarlet rolled her eyes, knowing fully well that they had packed instant noodles, bread, biscuits, milk, pizza and all sorts of things to eat.
A storage bracelet, in Scarlet’s opinion might just be the best thing that was invented by the interstellar geniuses.
"So, do you think the talk will be a success" Fey asked with a hint of curiosity mixed in with worry in her eyes. "It’s important for us business wise to expand our horizons. More alliances mean more money."
Adler and Scarlet looked at each other and they laughed.
"You are sounding like a business woman sister. Careful, or we might think that someone is tutoring you." Scarlet joked lightly.
Fey rolled her eyes and replied, "Has any of you ever stopped to think that I could simply be a business genius?".
"No." Both Adler and Scarlet responded.
They looked at each other and laughed silly, taking joy in Fey’s irritated glare as she stared at them.
It was so obvious that she was learning about business from Lloyd, what did she know about business before he came along? If she truly did have the gift, it had been buried deep down all these years.
"I hate you both, and I am telling dad as soon we go back home." Fey whined, hissed and threatened.
Adler groaned deeply and he raised his hands in the air, in surrender. "As always, our little family tattle tale Fey, strikes again. You are even worse than Halley when it comes to reporting us to him."
Fey kicked Adler, but he caught her foot before it connected with his knee.
"I knew violence would be your next move. Aah, our mother has really spoiled you girls. This streak of violence should end, hmm, little Fefi."
Like a cat with raised claws, backed up against the wall, Fey hissed once more.
"Don’t call me that wretched name."
Scarlet laughed at Fey, and she suggested, "perhaps you should remind him that he is called Brutus." ƒгeewёbnovel.com
Fey’s eyes glowed like little diamonds under a bright light.
"Don’t you dare." Adler warned her.
"Ha!, make me, Bru-bru-bru." Fey replied with telling smirk on her face.
"You little shit!" Adler wrapped an arm around Fey’s head.
"My hair, hey, Adler Su you are ruining my hair." Fey screamed unhappily.
Secretly, Scarlet was recording them as she enjoyed their witty and playful banter. These would be good memories to share at a wedding, or a birthday.
Before they realized it, they arrived at their destination and the car parked.
Fey was still glaring at Adler as she styled her hair once again. All of the curls she had carefully put had been straightened out.
"See what you have done." She wailed sadly.
"Just do the pony tail." Scarlet grabbed Fey, turned her around and took a comb to her hair.
She did not want them running late and being the last to arrive for this dinner. If possible, they should be the first so that they could watch others come in.
"There, you look beautiful, let’s go." Scarlet told her.
Fey sighed sadly, and Scarlet rolled her eyes exaggeratedly.
"Good lord, we are here to eat and mingle. Unless you plan to use your hair for any of the two, it’s not a big deal. I thought you were hungry." Scarlet reminded Fey of what mattered the most in their situation, the food.
She held Fey’s hand and Adler placed himself behind them, assuming the position which was usually taken by Tion.
Even though he and some guards had come along with her, they could not access the high lord’s mansion.
All three siblings looked at the towering white tower which was designed like a long mushroom with a large head.
This was because the top most structure was round and bulbous, opening up to form a flat parasol.
"If they added a little red to the structure it could have turned out to be an actual mushroom." Scarlet mumbled.
Fey heard her and she frowned, she observed the tall tower and she couldn’t see it.
"Sister, the mushrooms we have do not look like this."
"That’s because we do not have umbrella shaped mushrooms on the Blue star." Scarlet told her.
She could not guess positively or negatively about their availability on the other stars. Maybe they existed, or maybe not.
"I thought you were taking agriculture classes in the evenings. Mushrooms are of many varieties and types. There are some which are shaped like this-exactly like this but red in color, they would actually make cute human houses." Scarlet informed her of a fact and added a joke.
Because the Blue star relied on farming to boost their economy, most adults were encouraged to take classes on agriculture. For the children it was compulsory until the age of thirteen.
Rumor had it that the educational programs on the Blue star were being implemented on the grey star and yellow star.
Things like art, agriculture, sports, music, wildlife conservation, marine studies and other unique subjects were being added to the curriculums.
"So why build their high lord’s mansion like a mushroom?" Fey asked, genuinely curious.
"Perhaps they don’t know what a mushroom is." Adler suggested.
"Or they do and it’s valuable here." Scarlet countered Adler’s suggestion with one of her own.
Inspiration to build something like this did not come out thin air. Somebody had to have seen it somewhere before and copied it.
"I must say that it’s beautiful, weird but beautiful." Fey said.
"I agree, weird but beautiful." Scarlet laughed under her breath.
What a fantastic way of describing the most unusual structure she had seen in this new world so far.
She grabbed one hand each belonging to Fey and Adler. "Let’s go, my stomach is rumbling again. I do hope that they won’t do speeches or I will end up collapsing."
No speeches, please, no speeches Scarlet continued to hope as they entered the mushroom tower.
