Transmigration: Step Into The World of Books And Become The Strongest!-Chapter 59: Convincing Sharon
Upon hearing Rudolf’s sudden offer, Sharon was visibly surprised.
"Sage Rudolf, is it true? Can I really become your student?" she asked in a trembling voice, swallowing nervously.
Rudolf was a level five mage with unquestionable strength. Becoming his student was something she had never even dared to dream of.
Rudolf smiled warmly at her. "Yes, Princess Sharon. What do you think? Will you accept?"
Sharon fell silent, seemingly lost in thought. She had to admit, Rudolf’s offer was incredibly tempting.
However, for some reason, she felt that if she accepted, she might never see Aron again.
To confirm her feelings, Sharon asked, "If I accept, what benefits will I receive?"
Her question immediately shocked everyone into silence.
No one had expected Sharon to dare question Rudolf, a level five mage.
"This girl..." Nathan growled in frustration but could only let out a long sigh.
The Sharon he knew had always been weak and obedient; he never thought she could be so stubborn.
Wouldn’t it have been better to just accept Rudolf’s offer instead of asking such a reckless question?
If Rudolf took offense and withdrew his offer, it would be a great loss, both for Sharon and for the Magic Kingdom of Valdom.
’Pfft! This girl is really stupid,’ Cassius couldn’t help but sneer.
He had really wanted to see Rudolf get angry and withdraw his offer to Sharon. That would have been a fun show.
Unfortunately, his hopes were dashed. Rudolf showed no sign of anger.
Instead, he smiled and said, "Princess, under my tutelage, you will gain many benefits. Your status will be far above that of an ordinary student."
"Not only that, the resources you receive will be many times greater than those given to other new students your age. You’ll also receive specialized guidance from the great teachers at the academy. And, of course, there are many other advantages I haven’t even mentioned."
"However," Rudolf continued, "to ensure your growth, the Academy will prohibit you from returning to the Royal Palace for the next six months."
Sharon listened carefully, but when she heard his final words, her expression froze.
"Can’t return to the Kingdom Palace?" Her eyes widened, and her heart began to race.
Seeing her reaction, Rudolf guessed that her bond with the King and her siblings must be strong, making her reluctant to part from them.
But there was nothing he could do. These were the academy’s rules, and they had to be followed.
Still, he tried to reassure her, saying gently, "Don’t worry, Princess Sharon. Even though you won’t be able to return home during the first six months, you can still communicate with your family through letters. The Academy won’t forbid that."
His words left Sharon speechless. Family? She didn’t even have a so-called family.
Her father had never cared about her. He always seemed ignorant, cold, and indifferent to her existence.
Even when the queen, the concubines, and her siblings oppressed her—whether openly or subtly—her father remained completely unmoved.
A question often crossed her mind: Am I really his daughter? If so, why is he so cold toward me? Is it because I was born from a drunken mistake that he despises me?
Sadly, her longing for a father’s love had made her blind.
No matter how harsh her life became, she always clung to the hope that one day he would finally notice her.
But that hope seemed to be nothing more than a foolish dream.
In the end, she gave up and chose to focus her heart on one person—Aron.
No matter how difficult things became, Aron was the only one who had always been by her side.
Now, the thought of not being allowed to return home, of not being able to see him again, filled her with unease and fear.
Her expression slowly hardened, as if she had made up her mind.
"Sorry, Sage Rudolf, I..." Before she could finish, a voice suddenly cut in.
"Accept the offer, Princess."
The sudden voice immediately drew everyone’s attention—Nathan, Victoria, Nura, and Regina, along with the princes and high-ranking officials of the Magic Kingdom of Valdom, all turned toward the source.
They saw a handsome young man dressed in a servant’s uniform.
"A-Aron?" Sharon gasped in surprise before finally smiling softly.
Under the gaze of the crowd, Arthur walked calmly toward her and stopped at her side.
He turned to Catrine and Rudolf, placed a hand over his right chest, and bowed respectfully.
"Forgive me for interrupting this test, Miss Catrine and Sage Rudolf. I hope you won’t take offense," he said politely.
Catrine was momentarily stunned but quickly regained her composure.
"That’s fine," she replied calmly. "May I know who you are?"
From his clothing, Catrine could tell that Aron was a servant. However, from the way Sharon looked at him, it was obvious he was no ordinary servant.
"I am Aron, Princess Sharon’s personal servant," he answered respectfully.
Catrine raised an eyebrow slightly but said nothing, only giving a small nod.
"So, what brings you here, Aron? Is there something you wish to discuss with your master?"
Arthur nodded slightly and turned to Sharon. "Princess, I know you intend to reject Sage Rudolf’s offer. Please don’t. You should accept it. This decision is important for your future."
Catrine and Rudolf were both surprised to hear his words. They turned to Sharon, whose flushed face seemed to confirm what he said. 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺
Sharon bit her lower lip and lowered her head. "But if I accept, I won’t be able to see you."
Although her voice was soft, it was still clearly heard by everyone in the throne room.
Nathan narrowed his eyes, shooting Arthur a sharp look.
’Is he really Sharon’s personal servant? Since when have they been this close?’ He muttered under his breath.
He knew who Aron was, but he hadn’t expected their relationship to be so close that Sharon would almost reject Rudolf’s offer because of him.
Turning to Rucos, who stood on his right, Nathan ordered, "Rucos, investigate that man named Aron thoroughly. I want a full report on my desk within an hour."
Rucos bowed respectfully and replied, "As you command, Your Majesty."
Meanwhile, Cassius was eyeing Arthur warily, his expression slightly confused.
For some reason, the man looked strikingly similar to that jerk Avaron who had humiliated him at Celine’s birthday party the night before.
"Is it just my imagination?" he wondered.
