"Well, not bad, I guess."
Soren remarked after looking at the items he got from the boss of the Survival dungeon.
To be honest, he was a bit disappointed, as that Warchief was really strong.
But he could also understand that the dungeon was only E-rank. No matter how dashingly he conquered it, it wouldn’t magically give him overpowering stuff, would it?
Not to mention this ’Warchief’s Vital Core’ was still a good strategic item, just like that Wyvern’s blood.
In a battle, being able to restore your stamina instantly and increase physical endurance could give a huge advantage if used correctly.
"Hey, don’t look at them as items, look at them as Credit Points. Can you guess how many credit points we can gather from this dungeon alone this time?"
Just as Soren was musing over things, Sylvia chimed in with shiny eyes.
Currently, they were in their classroom, discussing among themselves. It was already the next day after that competition.
Since all of them were very tired, Soren asked them to rest, and only now did they discuss the loot they got.
"I feel like it can be 10,000 or maybe even 100,000 credit points? Woah...I don’t know what I can buy with so many points."
Sylvia remarked with greedy eyes, appearing quite cute. Soren couldn’t help but feel the urge to press her against the wall and kiss that mouth.
Unfortunately, they were in the class with everyone.
"Well, if each of us can get 20,000 credit points, maybe you can buy a lower-grade C-rank artifact or equipment."
Soren lightly remarked, before pouring cold water on Sylvia’s enthusiasm.
"But I don’t think it will reach 100,000 credit points. At most 60k or so."
Although they did sweep the entire E-rank dungeon and had so many loots, they were mostly the items worn and used by the Orc Warrior, like their axe, sword, blade, hide, etc.
Although they had value, they weren’t worth much.
Unlike the Emberwing Roost dungeon, which gave them valuable items like mana stones and flame crystals, this dungeon didn’t give them much.
In fact, from the beginning, it was a kind of dungeon to farm EXP.
Even though both were E-rank, their nature was entirely different after all.
Otherwise, how would they exceed level 30 in an E-rank dungeon at all?
The sheer number of Orcs and goblins they killed together was too many to count, which wouldn’t be possible in Emberwing Roost.
"By the way, what about the loot from that Orc Shaman? Did you get anything good?"
Soren suddenly remembered the Shaman that was attacking Aria before. From her, he knew that Shaman was the one who hid those orcs, catching them off guard.
So, maybe it dropped some good stuff. Thinking so, he looked at Aurelia and Evan, only to see them nodding lightly.
"Yeah, we did get something good. I was about to tell you yesterday, but you were injured."
Aurelia spoke softly to Soren before showing them the panel filled with information.
---
[Item: Whispering Gale Cloak]
[Rank: E]
[Effect: A cloak infused with the Shaman Orc’s wind magic. When activated, it allows the wearer to move at greatly increased speed while remaining partially invisible for a short duration. Ideal for stealth operations or sudden ambushes.]
---
[Item: Wind Elemental Summoning Scroll]
[Rank: E]
[Effect: Temporarily summons a Wind Elemental to fight alongside the user, performing minor wind attacks and support for a short duration.]
[Note: Usable only by the Summoner and Mage classes.]
---
"Whoa...this is quite good indeed."
The moment Soren saw the stuff, his eyes went a bit wide.
He felt that the loot gained from this Shaman was more valuable than that of the Orc Chieftain, although he wondered whether it was because he directly pulverized that guy into cinders.
Either way, these two items were good stuff that was usable even in the D-rank dungeon.
"Yeah, this cloak should be how that Shaman guided those Orcs behind our back."
Evan commented lightly while Aurelia pointed at the summoning scroll.
"I think we should give this to Aria. She is a summoner, and she can use it more effectively."
She suggested lightly, to which Evan and Sylvia nodded lightly, showing no greed.
But Soren quickly shook his head,
"No, no. This suits you more than Aria. Aren’t you a fire mage? Try using Wind Elemental to boost your attack power."
"Don’t always depend on your skill, you know. It is very important to have an adaptive battle style."
Soren remarked. Besides, he knew that Aria was more suited to earth and plant-type elementals than a wind-based one.
And she should be able to summon them shortly after her level crossed 35. There was no point giving this scroll to her.
It would be handy in Aurelia’s hand instead.
"Oh? O-Okay...thank you."
Although Soren was thinking of the team, it seemed Aurelia took it differently, as her eyes trembled a bit unnaturally.
If someone looked at her cheek right now, they could even see a faint red hue akin to a shy girl.
She thought Soren was being favourable to her after what happened in that dungeon yesterday.
Although briefly, they did share a kiss after all.
To be honest, Aurelia couldn’t sleep a wink last night.
"As for the other loot, except for the cloak, Warchief’s Vital Core, and Battle Essence, let’s sell them all. Then, we can divide the credit points among ourselves equally. What do you think?"
Soren asked, as none of these items were useful enough to give to Isolde for crafting.
"Okay! Let’s do that."
Everyone also thought the same and gave a light nod, Sylvia especially more enthusiastically than the others.
Looking at his teammates, Soren could feel that they really trusted him, and none of them even mentioned his lapse of judgment in the last raid.
He felt that he really couldn’t let them down.
"Hmm?"
While he saw everyone agreeing with him, Soren suddenly noticed the dark look on Aria.
She quickly hid it the moment he looked at her, but the tension in her posture and the sharp, faint glare in her eyes made it clear about her displeasure.
’Is she...upset with me?’
Only then did Soren realise that while giving that scroll to Aurelia, he might have inadvertently offended Aria.
Especially with the incident she saw with Sylvia yesterday, she was already feeling down, and he had to do this again, seemingly favouring Aurelia over her.
No wonder her face was dark.
’Damn...it seems she may have thought I am neglecting her.’
Soren realized that he was too hasty in giving that item to Aurelia. But what could he do now that Aria was already upset with him?
It seemed he had to figure out how to console her now.
"Okay, gather over, class. I have something to announce."
Just at that moment, a loud shout from Professor Lyra immediately silenced the noisy crowd in the entire class.
