Treasure Hunting System: The Ocean Conquerer-Chapter 778 - 342 Fourth Stage_2
The Mirror Surface appeared before him, then submerged beneath his face. Two crystalline antlers grew atop his head.
In this state of complete control, he no longer needed to receive power from the Dream Realm; it was now forcibly achieved. This state would become the norm.
Reaching out his right hand, the Dream Catcher’s Crystal Ball rotated in his palm. Inside the translucent Crystal Ball, the pink mist swirled and twisted under Alka’s control.
He closed his eyes, beginning to sense the changes occurring as both his physical and spiritual self reached the Fourth Stage. Would this be better than only his spirit reaching the Fourth Stage?
"Indeed, it is different... The synchronized coordination between body and spirit allows me to truly and completely control the Treasure," Alka murmured to himself, contemplating the changes in his body.
Upon reaching the Fourth Stage, he had completely mastered the Mirror Surface. This was aside from the bodily transformations brought by imitation and the ability to engage in deeper levels of mimicry. The accompanying abilities of the Mirror were also entirely under his control.
Once, he could only construct mirror spaces in dreams; now, he could begin to create genuine mirror spaces in the Real World. However, the Real World presented far more challenges than the Dream Realm. In the Dream Realm, Alka could combine the Mirror and Dream Space through his Divine lineage and the power of Royal Authority, creating a true space. However, such an operation was unattainable in real life. Through the Mirror, he could only construct a false, temporary space.
Still, it was sufficient—entirely adequate. Being only at the Fourth Stage, such abilities were more than enough.
Opening his eyes, he couldn’t help but smile. More changes would come once Magic Power fully fortified his body and soul, allowing him to savor them thoroughly.
HUFF.
He exhaled deeply. A Mirror appeared in front of him, and Alka walked through it.
"The suction has vanished; it seems Alka succeeded," Chadite remarked, sensing the Magic Power around them calm.
Just as she was about to proceed with everyone towards the camp, a thin Mirror appeared in front of them. Its surface rippled like water, and Alka emerged from within.
Upon seeing Alka appear before them, Chadite assessed their distance from the camp. More than 100 meters... it must be over 200 meters now. And unlike before when Alka activated this type of ability, there’s no commotion.
"Has your power grown stronger?"
Alka, stepping out of the Mirror, nodded. "The Fourth Stage allows complete mastery over Holy Grail-level Treasures," he said.
As he spoke, he gently flipped his palm. Instantly, the water surface beneath them became clear, the emerald sea transforming into a sharp, vivid mirror. Then the mirror-like surface flipped.
Everyone felt as if they had suddenly spun 180 degrees, struck by a powerful sense of disorientation. They looked around.
However, the surroundings seemed no different from before, apparently unchanged. But Julia quickly sensed the distinction. "This is a false space," she declared. "Lifeless, devoid of vitality, utterly dismal."
"Impressive. Indeed, this is a false mirror space," Alka said, waving his hand lightly.
The surroundings fractured as if a mirror had shattered. Cracks appeared in the air, as though space itself was disintegrating. Alka extended his hand and struck heavily.
Space shattered, fragments like shards of a mirror slipping away. Once more, everyone felt the world spin as they returned to reality.
"Complete mastery over the Treasure?" Chadite murmured. She then sighed. "We still have a long way to go."
Though Chadite had been striving to catch up, her strength had only reached 22 Spirals, still 5 Spirals shy of 27. That wasn’t even mentioning breaking through to the Fourth Stage.
Aside from Alka, Chadite and Simon were the strongest, both having reached 22 Spirals in recent days. The others were slightly behind, mostly at 21 Spirals. Among them, Juanlu and Matilda, although advancing swiftly, still lagged slightly behind the others. They remained at 20 Spirals, a significant improvement compared to the previous large gap.
Their rapid progress seemed to stem from their Treasures having been remade with Divine Essence. Compared to the others’ Treasures, theirs held a slightly higher rank, providing a slight edge in boosting their prowess—an approximate 10% increase.
"Now that you’ve reached the Fourth Stage, how soon will you... you know?" Chadite asked, giving a slight, knowing shake of her head.
Alka pondered for a moment. "In just a few days," he replied, "once the changes from my advancement have completely settled."
Everyone nodded and returned to the camp.
Alka remained outside the camp alone. He needed to train and adapt to the changes after advancing to the Fourth Stage. Fortunately, he had already experienced the Fourth Stage for a long time in his dreams, so it was mainly a matter of familiarization. If he had to face combat now, he could exhibit his current prowess almost perfectly. His primary goal was to experience the synergy between the mirror space and the Dream Catcher in reality. After all, there were differences between reality and the Dream Realm in this regard.
With this thought, Alka extended his palm again. The water surface beneath him transformed once more into a mirror-like state. This new mirror surface then flipped, rotating Alka’s entire body 180 degrees as he appeared in the mirror space.
