Twins Reunite: Bringing Mom and Dad Together!-Chapter 966: Let Thomas Quincy Raise Our Child
"I have some good news to tell you."
As Alaric Faulkner walked in from outside, Eleanor Sterling looked up at him, "What good news?"
He wrapped Eleanor in his arms and hugged her tightly, smiling, "Mason Langley and Yara Yates have already replied. They’ll arrive at the Quincy Family’s place in three days."
Eleanor’s eyes lit up, "Doesn’t that mean we can get the Medicine Manual from him right away?"
Alaric chuckled softly and said, "Of course, we’ve set up a perfect trap waiting for him to fall in."
"That’s great. After dealing with the mess here, we can return to the Keating Family. I’m so tired of staying at the Quincy Family’s place."
Alaric smiled, reaching out to touch her belly.
"Yeah, if we don’t go back soon, our child will be born here, and then we’ll have Thomas Quincy raise the child for us."
Eleanor couldn’t help but roll her eyes.
She pushed Alaric away, "To prevent someone else from raising your child, you should go make an additional plan right now. This time, we must capture Mason Langley." 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖
Alaric leaned his face closer, making his intention very clear.
Eleanor lightly scoffed, but she still planted a kiss on his cheek.
Only then did Alaric leave, satisfied.
Meanwhile, elsewhere, ever since Nancy Nash learned she was about to marry Thomas Quincy, she hadn’t stopped smiling.
She looked at the maid beside her and asked, "Can we start picking out the wedding dress now?"
The maid, following Thomas Quincy’s instructions, smiled and said, "Yes, Miss Nash, someone will send a catalog to you shortly. Once you’ve made your choice, they’ll come over to take your measurements."
"Great." Nancy Nash smiled broadly. As if something occurred to her, she asked, "What about that woman Clara Thornton? Has she already moved out?"
The maid replied, "I heard she’s packing up now and should be moving out soon. Eleanor Sterling is also packing her things."
Nancy felt delighted knowing her two thorns were gone. Finally, she could chase everyone away and securely sit on the throne as Mrs. Quincy.
Moreover, she received word that Yara Yates and Mason Langley would be coming in a few days. By then, she would be the happiest woman.
After pondering for a moment, Nancy stood up and said, "Let’s go, let’s see Clara Thornton off."
With that, she walked out with a triumphant look on her face.
Inside the room, Clara Thornton was directing the servants to pack, seemingly for Nancy to see. In reality, there were things she needed to throw away, so she might as well clean up.
Footsteps sounded, and Nancy arrived.
She scanned the room, appearing quite satisfied with the situation she saw before her.
After a moment, Nancy slowly said, "Clara Thornton, do you want to stay for my and Thomas Quincy’s wedding before you leave?"
She wore an arrogant smile, like a victor mocking a loser.
Clara squinted her eyes, smiling ambiguously, "Oh? Aren’t you afraid I’ll ruin your wedding?"
Nancy frowned. She was only trying to show off, but hearing Clara say this made her rethink having her stay.
Seeing Nancy not speak, her face changing colors, Clara laughed softly.
Trying to step on her? She didn’t even weigh her options. With just one sentence, she made her obediently shut up. Watching Nancy’s face turn black with anger, unable to speak, made her feel extremely satisfied.
Nancy’s expression shifted multiple times, but in the end, she left without saying anything, with a huff.
Watching Nancy’s departing figure, Clara Thornton smiled slyly.
Tussling with her? Nancy was still too inexperienced.
