Several streams of highly dense mana swirled around Dilan, who kept levitating in the air.

He was solely relying on his comprehension of Green Magic to levitate. That was one of the many achievements he made in the last few days.

His control of Green Magic had improved by leaps and bounds, and it was only a matter of time before he would be able to do unimaginable things without the use of the system.

Dilan opened his eyes while circulating a tremendous amount of mana through his body. He pulled every bit of mana out of the surroundings toward himself. This was not only to replenish his mana but also to make sure that his father wouldn't not receive even an ounce of mana.

With the constant use of his Headring's perfect appraisal, Dilan could easily tell that Arnes Cier's condition was slowly improving. Many monsters were trying to eat his father but his skin and the natural protection of the light and darkness mark were naturally too strong.

Thus, the attempts of the monsters to ravage his father's body were merely for Arnes Cier to see later! But that was more than enough for Dilan because he merely wanted to see his father's shock and utter terror upon waking up.

Killing him was something Dilan was capable of himself. There was no need for anyone to help him with that!

"So…what am I supposed to do with you now? Should I rip out your nails first, cut off your other hand to be on the safe side…or slowly start cutting you apart?!" Dilan asked, his eyes turning crimson as bloodlust and the desire to repay everything he had received from his dear and lovely father made him feel exhilarated.

He was ready to repay the debt he owed his father, not just one time but a hundred, or even a thousandfold, and nobody would ever be able to hold him back!

Yet, just when his thoughts about killing his father, and torturing him for everything he had done to his very own son were raging through his mind, Dilan received a crimson-red notification from the system!

[Warning! The Primordials are watching over you! They don't favor your train of thought and demand you to step back from their subject!]

"What the hell?" Dilan blurted out, creasing his brows. His lips began to twitch as he read the notification a second time before he looked at the sky, and he began to shout out loud, "You fuckers, just look for a different subject!"

Even if he would have to enrage a bunch of Primordial, whatever they may be, his father had to die. Thus, it was only obvious for Dilan that the Primordials should choose a new subject, for whatever reason, instead of him stepping back from taking his father's life.

To show that he was serious about what he had just shouted out loud into the sky, Dilan shot down toward the ground. He landed on Arnes Cier's stomach, causing him to wake up and puke out food and blood.

Dilan had erected a wall of wind to prevent getting showered with the contents of his father's stomach and he focused on his father's twitching right hand. 𝐟𝗿𝚎𝐞𝓌e𝒃𝑛𝒐ѵ𝒆𝑙.c𝚘𝓶

"Primordials, look at this piece of shit. Why did you even choose him as your subject, if he is even weaker than an ant?!" He shouted out loud while piercing the glowing Blessed Blade deep inside Arnes Cier's right hand.

He twisted the dagger when he had cut through it and he used his tremendous power to pull the Blessed Blade upward, splitting his father's hand.

Arnes Cier was howling in pain but Dilan was not yet done…he had yet to actually start torturing his father.

Looking at his father's right hand, Dilan shrugged his shoulders. He saw that a YinYang beam was forming, but the only response Dilan gave it was a smug expression. He used a large amount of mana to empower his Power of Destruction with it and he released an attack using the Blessed Blade.

Simultaneously, Dilan used more than 200 Units of mana to replicate a more powerful version of [Aegis' Shield] to make sure that he didn't have to waste time regenerating his body after the soon-to-happen explosion would tear him apart.

And it was just a moment later when his Destructive attack and the unstable manifested YinYang beam collided with one another that the predicted explosion actually happened.

The Aegis' Shield showed signs of breaking but Dilan's focus was on the pain he saw in his father's eyes.

Thus, even when the Aegis' Shield finally broke and the last remnants of the explosion were hurled onto his face and body, Dilan was still smiling.

He ignored the searing hot pain of his right arm that had been burned because he was healing rapidly, either way.

On the contrary, Dilan was more focused on the severe injuries of his father. His father had lost his right hand and forearm. A huge chunk of his waist had already been turned into nothingness, leaving Arnes Cier with a truly broken body.

"Looks like you will bleed to death if I won't do anything…which means that I have to tend to my pooooor father!" Dilan said with a dramatic sigh but one could see a bright smile on his face.

He retrieved the Advanced Destruction Spirit and used the mana that was left from its summoning to summon two Intermediate Fire Spirits.

"Burn his arm stumps and stop the bleeding from his waist!" Dilan ordered the Fire Elemental Spirits to tend to his father rather than doing it by himself.

Even if the purpose of tending to his father was to torture him, Dilan didn't feel like helping or even nearing his father in the slightest.

He wanted to see him dead, broken, and destroyed…nothing else. Nonetheless, the thought of taking revenge wouldn't disappear by allowing his father to leave with a painless death!

The Intermediate Fire Spirits took care of Arnes Cier, while Dilan listened to his screams of pain, fear, and desperation.

Arnes Cier could have never imagined that his life would end like this. He was not delusional enough to think that something or someone would come to his rescue. The only powerful allies he had were the Primordials, and they couldn't even come to Milarn yet. ƒr𝙚𝙚𝘸e𝚋𝐧૦ѵ𝒆𝒍.𝒄𝒐m

And even if the Primordials were able to come over to Milarn, it was not as if they regarded Arnes Cier highly. He knew that he was just a disposable tool in their eyes. Maybe he was an important tool with unique powers and high compatibility with a bunch of unique abilities, but that was already it.

The Primordials wouldn't be too bothered about his death, or so Arnes Cier thought.

The President of Arikan didn't know that his compatibility with the light and darkness mark and the power to control time was something that could hardly be found together, even in the body of Primordials.

Finding compatibility with one of these three powers was already rare, but Arnes Cier possessed the compatibility to far more than that. He was an anomaly, someone worth protecting.

Yet, Dilan couldn't care about the warnings the Primordials had sent. He was not bothered about them, and he would even take the Primordials head-on if they were to keep getting in his way!

"You cannot imagine how satisfying it is to see you like this…destroyed, physically and mentally," Dilan mumbled as he leaned down to his father. He grasped his father's long golden hair and pulled him up from the ground, ignoring Arnes Cier's pained expression.

"Revenge tastes sweet!"
