"Th-that's not it! You have a dirty mind, you jerk!" Yang Ruoxi said, her face blushing. After speaking, she seemed unsure how to face Lin Kuang and ran off.

Watching Yang Ruoxi's retreating figure, Lin Kuang couldn't help but smile slightly before heading downstairs. After breakfast, he left and returned to Liu Shilin's villa.

At the villa, Liu Shilin had also prepared breakfast and was chatting with the little Witch as they waited for him. When Liu Shilin saw Lin Kuang return, a smile appeared on her pretty face. The little Witch glanced at him shyly before quickly composing herself.

"Lin Kuang, come and have breakfast," Liu Shilin said with a smile.

"Okay, I'm coming," Lin Kuang replied with a smile and began to eat.

After they finished, Lin Kuang smiled. "I'm heading off to the military region. I'll see you tonight."

"Okay, be careful," Liu Shilin said warmly. The little Witch, as usual, remained silent.

Lin Kuang left the house, got in his car, and drove straight to the East Sea Military Region, arriving at precisely eight o'clock.

When Lin Kuang walked into the Seal Special Team's training room, he found Zhang Tianyou, Sun Lei, and the others locked in close combat. The nine of them were brawling, completely absorbed in the melee. They noticed his arrival but didn't even pause to greet him, continuing their fight.

Lin Kuang watched quietly, noting that every one of them had improved after a week of intensified training. This was especially true for Wang Hong, Chen Hai, and Zhou Shuang. Their progress was enormous! Although they still lagged behind Zhang Tianyou's group, the gap had shrunk considerably—a direct result of their training.

"Same old rules," Lin Kuang announced to the nine members of the Seal Special Team, his voice resonant. "The winner becomes captain for the next week. Also, I'll be accompanying you to Nanjing tomorrow. I hope you don't disappoint me."

Hearing this, the nine members were instantly invigorated. They had been wondering if Lin Kuang would be going with them, as Yang Wucheng hadn't mentioned it. Now, hearing it from Lin Kuang himself, they couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement, and they fought with even greater intensity.

Of course, Sun Lei, as the previous week's captain, had it the worst. Nearly all the attacks were aimed at him, causing him to groan in protest, but he had no choice but to fight back.

Ten minutes later, Li Liang was the only one left standing. The other eight were sprawled on the ground.

Li Liang was panting heavily, his body bent over as sweat dripped continuously from his forehead. He was clearly exhausted, but an excited smile spread across his face. He had won. For the next week, he was the captain!

For these nine members, becoming captain was an honor. Even if it was only for a week, that was more than enough.

"Very good. Li Liang is the victor this time, so he will be your captain for the coming week," Lin Kuang announced loudly. "Sun Lei, since you lost, your weight pack will be fifteen kilograms. Understand?"

"Understood!" the nine members roared with all their might.

"Good. Rest where you are for ten minutes. Then, push-ups and running," Lin Kuang said flatly.

At his words, the nine members responded in unison again and sat cross-legged on the floor to rest. Ten minutes later, they all stood, shouldered their weight packs, and began their push-ups. Meanwhile, Lin Kuang, still shouldering his twenty-kilogram pack, performed them effortlessly.

The members of the Seal Special Team were already used to Lin Kuang's monstrous physique. At the same time, they felt extremely fortunate to have such an instructor.

Fifteen minutes later, all nine members had finished their push-ups. They had shaved five minutes off their previous time of twenty minutes—a huge improvement. This progress was obvious to every single one of them, so they followed Lin Kuang's orders without question, their hearts filled with gratitude.

"Rest for ten minutes, then we'll run," Lin Kuang announced once everyone was back on their feet.

Ten minutes later, he spoke again. "Alright, let's go. Time to run. Fifteen laps around the drill ground. No helping each other; last time was a special exception. You showed me what true soldiers are made of, and that was enough. This is training, not a real battlefield. Understand?"

"Yes, Instructor!" the nine of them roared in unison.

"Good. Let's go." With that, Lin Kuang took the lead, running with his twenty-kilogram pack. Zhang Tianyou, Sun Lei, Li Liang, and the others followed close behind.

After easily completing his fifteen laps, Lin Kuang stood at the starting line, waiting for the others. He controlled his pace perfectly, maintaining a one-lap lead over the rest without going too fast. It wouldn't do to go too slow, either. As their instructor, he had to set an example.

Lin Kuang watched quietly. Fifteen laps was a serious challenge for the members of the Seal Special Team. Still, Zhang Tianyou, Sun Lei, Li Liang, Dong Jia, Hu Yang, and Wei Jialin were able to persevere. The distance between the six of them was consistently around ten meters, a nearly negligible gap. Wang Hong, Zhou Shuang, and Chen Hai, however, trailed the lead group by about five hundred meters. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢

Lin Kuang was very satisfied with this result. Without the last two weeks of intensified training, Chen Hai, Zhou Shuang, and Wang Hong would never have been able to perform at this level.

These three have made some excellent progress. With another week of training, they might just catch up to Sun Lei and the others.

Five minutes later, Zhang Tianyou, Sun Lei, Li Liang, and the rest of the lead group had gradually reached Lin Kuang's position. Meanwhile, Wang Hong, Chen Hai, and Zhou Shuang were still pushing on.

The last hundred-odd meters were nearly killing them. Yet none of them said a word. They just clenched their teeth, puffed out their chests, held their heads high, and ran on heavy legs. It could hardly be called running anymore. Their pace was closer to a walk, and a slow one at that—even slower than a brisk walking pace. Of course, after running for so long, being able to persist to this point was already commendable.

It took them a full five minutes to cover that last hundred-odd meters before they finally reached Lin Kuang.

Lin Kuang looked at them with great satisfaction. A powerful soldier needed not only immense physical strength but also willpower that far surpassed that of an ordinary person. Before he could even speak, the three of them collapsed onto the ground. They stared up at the blue sky, gasping for breath.

Seeing this, Lin Kuang couldn't help but shake his head and smile. "Rest for fifteen minutes. Then we'll eat and start the afternoon training."

Seeing their exhausted state, he couldn't help but give them an extra five minutes of rest.
