Unrivaled Soldier in the City-Chapter 321: Encounter with the Scumbag Again
Hearing this, Gael, who had already stood up, couldn’t help but glance at Hasa before sitting back down. "What’s the matter?" he asked indifferently.
"A wonderful opportunity, of course," Hasa said, smiling at Gael. "There’s a shipment in Southeast Asia, in the Golden Triangle, that I want to get my hands on. The Black Scorpion Mercenary Corps can’t handle it alone. I need your help. Once we have the goods, we’ll split it fifty-fifty."
Compared to dealing with Lin Kuang, that was just an appetizer. This was the real reason Hasa had sought out Gael.
Hearing this, Gael couldn’t help but frown. "Hasa, have you gone mad? The warlords in the Golden Triangle are not to be trifled with. Trying to steal their goods? Isn’t that a suicide mission?"
"Of course, it’s not their goods. It’s Pia’s," Hasa said, still smiling. "A full ton. Interested?"
At these words, Gael’s body trembled slightly. A look of astonishment appeared in his eyes, along with a flicker of excitement.
"Pia? The leader of Poison Snake? The American-based mercenary group that’s ranked sixth among the top ten Mercenary Corps in the world? You want to rob him?!" Gael asked incredulously.
"That’s right. Poison Snake may be ranked sixth, but if our eighth and ninth-ranked Mercenary Corps team up, taking them on isn’t impossible. Wouldn’t you agree?" Hasa said, glancing at Gael again.
A look of hesitation flickered in Gael’s eyes. A whole ton of goods! If he got his hands on it, he and Hasa would each walk away with half a ton. That was a massive fortune!
"What’s your plan?" Gael asked, unable to resist the temptation.
A smile spread across Hasa’s face. "Of course, I have a plan. I’m not stupid enough to march to my death. Here’s their route map. We have a perfect opportunity to ambush them right after their plane lands."
With that, Hasa handed Gael a map.
Gael examined it closely, then looked up at Hasa. "How did you get this?"
"I have my ways," Hasa said with a smile. "And I guarantee this map is authentic."
Gael nodded slowly. "I see. You have a mole inside Poison Snake. Hasa, you truly are insidious."
"Well, we all live our lives dancing with the Grim Reaper. Some things just have to be done, don’t they?" Hasa said with another laugh.
"Very well. Send me word before you make a move. I’ll take care of that Lin Kuang first," Gael said with a smile of his own.
"No, no. If you agree, we move tomorrow night. Dealing with that man from the East will have to wait," Hasa said with a chuckle.
"So soon?" Gael asked, frowning.
"Of course. Why else would I have been so eager to see you?" Hasa replied with a laugh.
"Alright, then. Let Lin Kuang live a few more days. We move tomorrow night," Gael said, unable to hide his anticipation.
"Excellent," Hasa said, standing up and extending his hand with a smile. "Here’s to a successful partnership." 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮
"Indeed. To a successful partnership," Gael replied. The two men shook hands, exchanged a smile, and then went their separate ways.
「At that moment, Lin Kuang had already arrived at a Maserati dealership with the three women.」
It was Lin Kuang’s first time in a place like this. Sure enough, the sales staff were all beautiful women—quite a feast for the eyes.
"Sir, ladies, may I ask which model you are interested in?" a beautiful sales associate approached them, her professional smile warm and inviting.
"Do you have any new cars here? I want one with a lot of horsepower," the Witch chimed in eagerly. For her, the faster a car went, the better.
"We have a Maserati Quattroporte 3.0T, but it has already been sold. If you’d like to purchase one, you’ll have to wait a while," the sales associate said apologetically.
Hearing this, the Witch couldn’t help but look disappointed.
"Alright, then we’ll just take two GCs," she said, somewhat dejected. Since the other one was unavailable, she would settle for the model she was used to driving.
"Certainly. Please follow me," the sales associate said.
Just then, a jarring voice interrupted them. "Hold on. If this beautiful lady wants the Quattroporte, I suppose I can part with it."
A young man walked over, a smirk on his face as his gaze swept over the Witch, Liu Shilin, and Lin Guo’er.
"Really?" the Witch asked, delighted, seemingly oblivious to his stare.
"Of course," the man said with a smile.
"Then thank you so much! That car is mine, then!" the Witch said happily.
"Not so fast, beautiful. I can give you the car, but you have to agree to one little request of mine," the man said, his lecherous smile growing more and more repulsive.
"What request?" the Witch asked, her brow furrowing.
"Just a tiny thing. The three of you spend the night with me, and the car will be yours tomorrow morning," the man said with a laugh, the lust in his eyes growing even more blatant.
The Witch finally understood. Her doll-like face twisted into an ugly expression. "Go to hell, you asshole!" she spat fiercely.
Lost in her earlier excitement, she hadn’t noticed the man’s expression. Now, seeing his repulsive leer, she was filled with disgust.
"Now, now, we can discuss it. If you’re willing, I’ll even pay for the car. All you have to do is keep me company," the man offered again, not at all angered, his smile sleazy.
"Screw you! Get lost, you pervert!" the Witch exploded. It wasn’t like she was short on money, and this was just a car.
Hearing her words, the man’s expression soured.
"Tsk, tsk. Young lady, you should watch what you say. A loose tongue can cause a world of trouble. You never know who you can’t afford to offend," the man sneered.
At this, Lin Guo’er scoffed, her words exceptionally sharp. "People we can’t afford to offend? While there may be people in this world we can’t afford to offend, there’s certainly no one like that here in the East Sea. Especially not you!"
The Witch, after all, hadn’t navigated the complexities of society and lacked the sharp-tongued experience of a woman like Lin Guo’er, who had toughed it out for years.
As expected, the man’s face flushed red at Lin Guo’er’s words. His once handsome features twisted into an ugly snarl.
"Damn it, you fucking bitch! Don’t throw my kindness back in my face!" he raged.
