Chapter 556 DAMNED LIFE

Kyle remembered how Eros had killed Derek because he played a stupid prank on Emily and the young lycan figured out. He ripped Derek's body apart, which killed him.

But what the punishment that he got? He was locked for several days only, being starved, but he was still the beta of the pack!

And then recently, they went to the Aartzes country together, the four of them, but Josh had never returned. He was dead!

Kyle didn't know what happened there, but he was sure that they were the caused of his dead. Whatever happened there, they didn't protect him and let him died just like that!

They deserved to die!

"FUCK EROS AND COLTON! THEY LET MY FRIENDS DIED!" Kyle roared at Emily and slammed her body against the wall, so hard, she felt he broke her ribs because of the collision. "They deserved that!" Kyle hissed and then turned around to walk out of the bedroom. He didn't need to be there and console her.

Left alone, Emily fell to the ground, she heard the clicking sound from the door, which let her knew that she was being locked inside her own room.

Emily's entire body trembled, she fell the hard ground beneath her and without realizing it, she started crying so hard, her heart ached.

If she called Kyle a traitor, she was no different from him. She agreed to work for alpha Liam, which led him to make a decision to get rid of Ariana.

But, it was her, to be the healer of the pack or it was Ariana. The decision was so heavy and excruciatingly painful to take, but she needed to survive, so did Eros.

"Eros…" Emily wiped away her tears and ignored the pain on her body, as she stood up and started to pound her fist against the door. "Let me out of here!" Emily screamed to anyone behind this locked door, if there was really someone there. "Alpha Liam! Alpha Liam!"

She wanted to demand to see him, she wanted to demand his promise. He wouldn't kill him. He couldn't kill Eros! 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝓌𝑒𝒷𝘯𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝑜𝓂

"Think Emily, think carefully!" Emily muttered to herself. She threaded a dangerous ground now. It was either Alpha Liam would use Eros as a leverage to get her knowledge about the project that she was doing with Ariana, or she could use it as a leverage to get Eros.

It was so dangerous and was very complicated, one wrong word and she would be done for, alpha Liam would use her until he couldn't find any use of her.

"How to get to Eros?" Emily bit her lip. She paced back and forth inside the room, trying to ignore how painful her body because Kyle had slammed her against the wall.

==========================

"Only if you follow my lead, you will not end up like this, Eros." Liam stared at Eros from behind his cell bars. He put him in dungeon, spread his limbs against the wall, as silver chain tied him there, the silver ate his skin and left burning mark on his wrist and ankle.

Meanwhile, the damned bracelet that prevented him from shifting into his beast was still lingering there.

"It is such a pity that you want to confront me." Liam looked deep in thought, while Eros lowered his head, his chin touched his chest, not because he wanted to bow to the alpha, he would never bow to him ever again, especially when it was so blatant that he had completely joined with the organization, the same people that held him captive in the first eight years of his life.

There was no way he would be willing to go back to that place and helped them to do whatever thing that they would do to the supernatural creatures.

"It is such a pity that I didn't kill you straight away." Eros raised his head and his blue eyes turned darker, probably because of the lack of light inside this dungeon, but sure enough those eyes emitted killing intention.

Once he got is hand on Liam, he wouldn't let go. He would snap his head and make sure he died in his hand.

"Do you really think that you can do that?" Liam asked, tilting his head and then cleared his throat. He felt his throat was itchy recently.

"I can and I will."

"I like that you are still high spirit." Liam nodded in disapproval, as if Eros needed it. "You don't need to worry, I will take a good care of your human girl."

Liam intentionally mentioned Emily and those killing intention in his dark eyes became so deadly.

"I am going to rip you apart if you harm her." His voice reverberated in this dungeon and the echo sounded so eerie.

"Don't worry about that one, I still need her alive than dead." That was for sure because Liam had another plan for Emily. "I can assure you that she will be alive, not only that, I will make her come to visit you. I am very certain there are a lot of things that you want to talk with each other, right?"

And without waiting for his answer, Liam turned his body around and then walked out of the dungeon.

"Where is Emily?" he asked to one of the guards that followed him.

"Kyle locked her in her bedroom."

"He locked here there?" Liam raised his brows, but then he dismissed the two of them, because he didn't need them when he talked to Emily.

======================

Vanesha was deadpan when she watched Gael's current situation. He was battered with injuries all over his body. She had never seen him so helpless like this before.

"You look like a helpless old man," Vanesha stated, as she entered the room, which was his prison. This room was nice enough, not a dungeon cell, but a simple room with only a bed.

"You are so heartless to call me an old man." Gael didn't open his eyes, as he curled his bloody body on the bed, his blood stained the mattress. "I wish I have a youthful appearance like any other supernatural creature."

"Don't be so greedy, you can't have it all." Vanesha entered the room and she looked around. There was no place for her to sit down, but on the edge of his small bed, so she went there. "I think I have dressed your wounds yesterday, how can you get a new one now?"

"Do you really think I really love to be bruised and injured?" Gael opened his eyes momentarily before he closed them again, too tired to keep awake. "If you only come here to criticize my wounds, better you go, I am not in the mood to talk. I can burn you if I lost my patient."

Vanesha rolled her eyes. He still acted all tough. "The bracelet on your wrist will not allow you to burn anything, not even a flicker of fire."

"You insult me."

"Sometime the truth is hurt."

"You don't make my mood better."

"I am not coming here to make your mood better."

Gael sighed deeply and he regretted it because it caused his chest so much pain, he thought he broke a rib or two. Damn those people.

Sol was really keeping a tab on him. This was way more humiliated for Gael than when he killed him straightaway.

"What do you want to do?" Gael opened his eyes and found Vanesha's complicated expression.

"I can get you out of here."

"Great."

"I am serious. Stop being so bitter."

"I will thank you after I get out from here, before that, I will be bitter."

Vanesha scoffed, but she didn't say anything. She felt so close with Gael, she thought of him like a father figure that she had never had or a brother when she sought for a protection.

But, his feeling for Sol… she couldn't ignore that too.

And Gael could see that through her, he was able to see that and he knew that she was fighting her own battle in her mind.

"You will be damned this time, Vanesha. There is no one will forgive a traitor for the second row. You will get into a lot of trouble."

"Well, what makes you think that he will find out?"

"What makes you think that he will not?" Gael opened his eyes and met hers. Both of them were stubborn and both of them knew that.

But in the end, the two of them laughed, chuckling lightly, as they knew how damned their fate could be.

"We will be damned, you know that," Gael said. He sighed heavily, his injuries felt so much painful now.

"We are damned from the very beginning Gael." Vanesha lifted her head and stared at the ceiling of this narrow room. She was allowed to be here because she was in charge of him. "What?"

Vanesha whipped her head when she heard how Gael laughed all of sudden, as if he had just heard the most funny joke.

"What is it?"

"I just can't imagine that almost two decades later we will sit here talking like this. I still remember you as a little girl with runny nose."

Vanesha glared at him. "I wasn't a runny nose girl."

Zuri stared at Chaos, she raised her hand and broke the protection spell that her grandmother had created, which surrounded him.

She took a few steps closer and knelt down in front of him.
