Untamed: The Alpha-Chapter 562 WHY ARE YOU CRYING?

Kenna was playing with Aiden when Emma came to look what they were playing. She glanced at the dolls in Kenna hands and then grabbed it to see it closely.

"This doll is ugly," Emma said, as she frowned to see the ugly doll in her hand, she scrunched her nose. Her golden eyes shone brightly and she didn't even bother to hear how her sister was asking her to return the doll to her. "Why do you want to play with ugly doll like this?"

"Give it back to her, Emma," Aiden said, as he tried to retrieve the doll from her, but Emma stepped away. She didn't like it whenever Kenna played with her twin. Aiden should only play with her, but he didn't like to be with her at all.

Aiden would rather to have a harsh training than to play with her and this made Emma upset.

"Give it back to her, Emma, that's not yours."

"But, this doll is ugly."

"If that's ugly, you don't need to take it away from her."

"No." Emma was annoyed because Aiden sided with Kenna. "Why do you play with her and don't want to play with me?"

"Because you have someone else to play with," Aiden replied truthfully.

"Who?"

"That's a scary man and a young girl. You always played with them in the middle of the night and left me alone."

Emma blinked her eyes. She didn't know that Aiden realized it, but it didn't matter, since she wouldn't give back the doll to him.

Aaron said no one would know about their little secret, but then why Aiden woke up and Aaron didn't realize it?

"Give it back." Aiden stomped his feet, while Kenna started crying, because that was the only doll that she had, no one ever cared enough for her to give her toy and she would get scolded if she wanted to play with other children. Her mother didn't like it if she went out of the room for long.

The doll was given by Ariana, but it had been days since the last time she saw her, when Kenna asked sis Emily about her, she would cry, thus she didn't dare to ask more question, in case she upset sis Emily again.

"Give me back my doll…" Kenna cried she rubbed her face and stood up, as she wanted to grab back her doll, but when she was close to Emma, she pushed her away and threw the doll.

"There! If you want the doll, you can take it!" Emma shouted at her. She had never felt like Kenna as her sister, neither she thought of her as one. She was just upset because Aiden preferred Kenna than her.

"Emma!" Aiden was angry because Emma pushed Kenna away and their little sister was crying harder right now, thus he pushed her away the way she did, which made Emma fell on her ass. "You shouldn't push your sibling!"

"But, you pushed me! I am your sibling too!" Emma was so angry, as she stood up and started to attack Aiden.

Seeing that, Aiden raised his hand in fighting stance when Emma attacked him.

"What happened here!" Emily came and immediately separated the two siblings before they claw each other, but then she could feel something prick her arms and she screamed in shock, because it was so painful, when she looked down, her arm was bleeding and Emma stared at her, mortified.

Claws emerged from the tips of her fingers, as if she was about to shift into her beast form, but then she shouldn't be able to do that, since she had not yet given any sign that she could shift into her beast yet.

"You… you can shift now?" Emily looked at Emma and how she retracted her claws back, she looked defensive.

Aiden was able to shift last year, while Kenna had not yet showed any sign of it, but so did Emily.

There was a tradition in this pack to throw a party if the children could shift for the first time, but Emma seemed didn't like the idea.

"I don't!" Emma said, she pouted her lips and then stared at the long wounds on Emily's arm, she lowered her head. "I don't mean to harm you. You need to take care of it, since you are a human, you will not heal like we do."

Emily grimaced because it was so painful, she needed to clean this up, but Emma seemed remorseful.

"Okay, but can you help me to go to the infirmary?" Emily didn't want to leave Emma alone when she thought she had done something bad. Yes, she picked a fight, but she always saw this girl as a normal child, who was longing for her mother's affection.

However, she didn't get it from her mother, neither Liam, because the alpha preferred his son to be his successor, though skill wise, Emma was more than enough to fulfil that role.

"Come here, help me, okay?" Emily grabbed Emma's hand and then walked away from there. "Aiden, take Kenna to her bedroom, okay?"

Aiden nodded and then tried to calm his sister down, as he cleaned up the doll for her.

During their walk to the infirmary, Emma was silence, she only broke down crying when they were already in the infirmary and apologized profusely for what she had done. 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝓫𝓷𝓸𝒗𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝓶

"I am sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you. I don't know…" Emma palmed her face and sobbed pitifully.

Emily scouted down in front of her and kissed her head. "You don't need to cry, it was an accident, but I would love it if you apologize to your brother and sister too, okay?"

Emma lowered her hands and then looked at Emily through her tears. "They don't like me."

"Of course, they like you." Emily wiped away her tears and then kissed her cheeks. "Maybe next time, instead of snatched away Kenna's doll, you can ask her to play together with you. How is it?"

Emma thought about it for a while and then nodded.

"Good girl," Emily said and then asked Emma to help her to clean her wounds and put the bandage.

"It is very inconvenient to be human, because you can't heal fast enough," Emma commented, as she stared at Emily's bandaged arm.

Emily smiled at her softly and ruffled her hair. "Does your father still like the tea that you brought to him?" she asked her.

"He likes it, but Ariana is not around and I can't get the tea leaves." Emma looked somber when she talked about Ariana. "Where is she? Some people said she and Colton went out of the pack for duty."

At this point, Emily thought, no one would have a heart to tell about how Emily and Colton also a few guards had met their demise.

"What about I let you know how to brew another tea? Your father must like it the same too," Emily asked with bright eyes and Emma became a little bit happy to hear that.

"Okay!" she said. "I want to meet with father, but he always busy and I don't have any excuse to see him if I don't bring a tea for him."

"Okay, come here. I will help you." Emily took her to the other side of the infirmary and gave her the tea leaves.

"Don't tell this to anyone, okay? Because I told father that I picked the tea leaves by myself." Emma grinned at Emily.

"Of course," Emily said in delight and watched how the little girl walked out of the room, but once she was out of her sight, her smile disappeared, her eyes turned cold and it was so rare to see Emily like that.

Her face remained expressionless, while she collected a few herbs for her to bring to the dungeon, because she wanted to see him and treat his wounds because of that stupid silver chain that bound him to the wall.

Every time Emily went to the dungeon, Eros would pretend that he was sleeping in order to avoid talking with her, that hurt her so bad, but it didn't stop her from coming back again.

However, this time, Eros opened his eyes when he sensed her scent in this cell.

"You are bleeding." That was the first thing that Eros said after days he refused to talk to her. His dark eyes fixed on the bandage on her arm.

"This is… nothing." Emily felt her throat dried, she was too emotional right now.

He cared for her.

Despite what happened recently between them, he still cared for her and realized that she got hurt. It made her wanted to cry, not because her wounds were so painful, but because of the realization that she had not yet lost him completely.

"Is that so painful?" Eros narrowed his eyes, as he watched Emily wiped away her tears, as she applied herbs on his wrist and ankle, his wounds would be infected if was left untreated, since it was silver that they used.

Emily had asked Liam to change it, but he told her that Eros was still strong enough to fight and it would only put in danger anyone, who tried to change the chain.

His plan was to let Eros weak enough to not able to fight.

"No, I am fine." Emily swallowed a lump in her throats.

"Why are you crying?"
