Emily stood up and rushed out of the room to see Liam, he must know something about this. Because Eros was in pain after meeting him, thus she thought, he must use some kind of poison and forced him to drink it.

After all, that was what Emily was doing, she continued what Ariana had planned for Liam.

"Alpha! What you have done to Eros?!" Emily slammed the door to the office room quite loud and this made all the people there startled.

Right now, Liam was not alone, there were Sol and a few other important people and not their eyes were on Emily, but she didn't care, she needed the answer and she needed it now.

"What do you think you are doing!?" Kyle shouted at her loudly, he looked so furious about what Emily had done. She interrupted an important meeting.

Because Colton had died, gamma's position was vacant and for rewarding Kyle for his bravery to expose the traitor, the alpha gave him the title as the gamma.

Which now, he was only one rank lower than Eros. For some reason, Liam still kept Eros close to him and didn't strip him down from his rank.

"What have you done to Eros?!" Emily didn't care how Kyle snapped at her and how he rushed toward her with so much hostility in his eyes.

"Stop." Liam raised his hand to stop Kyle from hitting Emily, as he was about to drag her out of the room. "I am sure there is misunderstand here. Why don't you explain it to me?"

Emily glared at Liam fiercely and for the people in this pack, this was the first time they saw the mild temper Emily became so furious like this. It shocked them.

Meanwhile, giving an order from the alpha, Kyle stopped and put down his hand, he regretted that he didn't slap her first.

"Eros is in pain right now!" Emily screamed. "What have you done to him!?"

"What?" Liam narrowed his eyes. He didn't do anything to Eros that could cause him any pain and Emily couldn't think clearly as she was so afraid to see Eros's current condition.

"This pain is so much…" Flo whimpered in Aaron's arms, as she tried to breath, she clutched her chest and it almost felt like someone just ripped her heart out of her chest.

"Don't worry, the pain will be subsided soon," Aaron said, as he patted her back to give a little bit comfort, but his eyes didn't show any emotions at all to see his companion writhed in pain.

Flo was still in Skylar's body, thus she didn't look like twelve years old girl, but then even when she was a child, she had never looked like one. The way she was thinking and how wicked she could be, was not something that belonged to the girl in her age at all.

"This is very painful…" Flo cried, she curled her body, but she didn't feel comfortable, she was unable to breath. "Make it stop… this is very painful. Make it stop Aaron," she implored him. She was crying her eyes out, while Aaron didn't do anything, he just patted her back, but he didn't offer any comfort words.

He was gone for a moment before and only a moment ago he returned, only to find Flo was in this condition.

Aaron stared at Flo, but he didn't really look at her, because there was something else that he was thinking in his mind.

What he put in the alpha's soul must have taken an affect by now. When he brought the alpha along with him in their encounter, it was not without purpose, he indeed wanted Chaos to take his shattered soul from the alpha back.

And now, seeing how Flo was in pain, he was sure that the other shattered souls were going through the same pain like her.

This was good.

Everything went according to the way he wanted it.

This was great…

There was a smirk etched on the corner of his lips and Flo saw it, but she was in so much pain and her head was a little bit muddled, so she was not sure whether she saw it right or not.

But then, it was not important, because she had to deal with the pain right now.

Flo closed her eyes, she clung onto Aaron desperately, hoping he could do something about this pain, but the devil seemed didn't really interest about it and didn't even try to think of the solution.

He just watched her writhed in pain, his golden eyes filled with amusement.

"Someone gave the access card to the supernatural creature number thirteen! He is escaping now! He burned down the west wing and our team is after him now!" Mohan reported this to Nikolai, who was having a conversation with his sister in different part of the building.

Vanesha came to him all of sudden and brought him here and because he didn't bring any communication device with him, it took a while for Mohan to be able to find him and report the situation.

"What?!" Nikolai was flabbergasted. He then looked at his sister and immediately knew there was something going on, that she had her hand in this matter, but he wished he was wrong. "I will be there, you go first," Nikolai said calmly.

"But…" Mohan wanted to tell him that they didn't have time to delay this and because Sol was not here, it left Nikolai in charge.

"Go!" Nikolai roared, but his eyes fixed on his sister, who was trying to avoid his gaze. They were in this small room near the storage and it was Vanesha, who took him to this odd part of the building.

Seeing how serious Nikolai was; Mohan gritted his teeth and went away, he needed to be with his team, while they had called for help, since it was not easy to tame a supernatural creature like Gael, who could burn everything that he touch.

"Tell me it is not you," Nikolai asked, his voice filled with so much accusation, but Nikolai seemed to know the answer, even before he questioned her. He balled his fists beside his body. "We will talk about this later, Vanesha," he said darkly.

Vanesha said nothing, she was still avoiding his eyes, but before Nikolai could walk away from her, he suddenly fell to his knees and writhed in pain, he curled his body in a way that it was weird to see for someone that was perfectly fine a moment ago, as he clutched his chest.

"Nikolai! Nikolai!" Vanesha immediately approached her brother and sat down next to him, as she took his head to her laps and tried to talk to him. "Nikolai! What happened with you?"

Nikolai couldn't answer that, he was in agony, even to talk was a great deal for him. He felt like his inside was melted and he was in flames, it was very hot, he felt like he was being burned alive.

Vanesha looked around her, trying to see whether there was someone else that could help them in this situation, but there was no one there, she was alone.

But, based on Nikolai's expression, he was in so much pain. He barely endured it.

"I will go and ask for medic! Wait here!" Vanesha regretted it that she asked him to go to a secluded place, since it would take time for the medic to come, while she didn't know what happen to her brother.

This scared Vanesha to see how her brother was suddenly in so much pain because he was fine a few minutes ago, she tried to think what could cause that but then she couldn't come up with any idea about it.

Vanesha went to see the paramedic in this building, which was a little bit far from where she left Nikolai, but then she heard commotion that she thought it was because Gael's escapee, but then the reality was way worst than that.

"Dragon! The dragon is awake!"

"The dragon is awake!"

"The dragon is trying to break free!"

And more people were shouting the same thing.

Vanesha stopped in her track and then looked out from the nearby window to the sky, as she heard the guttural roared from afar.

The sound of it could make you trembled in fear and there it was, on the night sky, Vanesha saw the monster that her brother and his unit had managed to subdue years ago, set free in the sky.

The creature breathed fire and made a few building collapsed, wrapped it in flames. There were so many fire now the beast was out.

"No… no way…"

Vanesha couldn't continue to find the paramedic for Nikolai, because she couldn't leave him alone, since the beast came to their way.

This beast could set the whole building in fire and killed them all easily, especially when they didn't expect it at all, the chain of commando was obscure.

"No! No!" Vanesha rushed back to where she left Nikolai when she saw the dragon flew straight to the storage building. 𝒻𝓇𝘦𝘦𝘸𝘦𝘣𝓃ℴ𝓋𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝑚

Her heart was on her throat and she felt her legs couldn't carry her fast enough to her brother.

How could all of this happen?

She heard the earth- shattering roar in the distance and people that screamed in pain, as the dragon burn everything to ashes in its wake.
