Chapter 569 COME CLOSER TO ME

July looked at Knox, the man groaned in pain, but she didn't have time to put her attention on him, because right now, their daughter was also crying, she was in so much pain, it seemed both of them were going through the same thing.

However, of course, Knox handled it better than Rhea. The little girl was bawling her eyes, her face had turned red and she didn't stop thrashing her body, telling her how painful it was.

On the other hand, Knox couldn't reach to his daughter and he was helpless. If he could, he would like to get the portion of pain that his daughter had to endure, he would be grateful to free his daughter from the pain, but the problem was; the situation was not as easy as he wanted it.

"Seb! Come home! Rhea is in so much pain! What should I do? What can I do?" July was crying, she was panic, she didn't know what to do to alleviate Rhea's pain and the look on Knox's eyes made her even wanted to crumble.

"There is something going on the facility, I can't go home now," Sebastian said. He was still inside the building when the dragon woke up and started to ruin this whole place, at the same time, Gael managed to escape. He told her that much and became even more stressful when she heard how July was crying.

It was so rare for her to cry helplessly like that, thus it must be something that she couldn't handle alone.

"July, don't panic, I will be home as soon as possible," Sebastian promised her, but he knew that he wouldn't be able to go anywhere soon, more so, even if he was there, there was nothing that he could do to help Knox and Rhea, their condition and situation was out of his knowledge about them.

On the other hand, July knew Sebastian was also helpless against all of this, but she used to have him around and she couldn't help, but asking for an emotional support from this whole ordeal.

"Okay," July said in small voice.

At the same time, her phone was ringing again and this time, it was from an unknown number. July picked it up, thinking that probably this was someone that she knew and she was in desperate need of help.

"Hallo?" July said, as she listened to the other man talked. Apparently, he was Darius and he was calling from McKeltar manor, where he was looking for Knox. "He is not in condition that he can receive your call."

July listened to him, she wanted to ask for help, but she didn't know what she should ask, until he mentioned Zuri.

"Zuri is there? Give the phone to Zuri. I want to talk to her." July felt her heart was beating so fast when she waited for Zuri, as the man named Darius passed the phone call to her. "Zuri? Is that you?"

"July? I need to talk to Knox," Zuri said in hurry, she didn't have time to waste, but little did she know, so did July.

In her haste, July quickly explained to Zuri about what happened there, how Knox and Rhea were in so much pain and both of them were barely able to talk.

On the background, Zuri could hear how Rhea was crying her heart out.

Zuri then shifted her attention toward Chaos, who was laying on the bed. "July, Chaos's condition is not good. He is in even worst state when he returned the first time. He is unconscious and his realm had collapsed. I think all of his shattered soul can feel his pain. I heard the dragon managed to escape from the facility."

July felt her heart sank, she knew that Zuri wouldn't be able to help much, but then hearing how clueless and helpless she was, it only solidified her fear.

"What should I do? What should I do to them? They are in so much pain, Zuri! I can't watch it and do nothing!"

Zuri bit her lip. "Give the phone to Knox." July didn't know what Zuri wanted to communicate with Knox, but he was not in condition that he could converse well. "Just give it to him!" Zuri said sternly.

She waited until July approached Knox and told him that it was Zuri, she wanted to talk to him and then put the phone closed to his ear.

Zuri could hear Knox's labored breathing, he gritted his teeth so hard, in order not to make any sound, because he would scream in pain if he did and it would only stressed July out even more.

"Knox, can you bring them here?" Zuri asked. She didn't know what to do, but it would be better if they stayed together.

Chaos managed to teleport her and himself when he was in such condition out of his realm, thus it meant those shattered soul didn't lose their ability and Knox could do the same thing, since he held the biggest share of Chaos's soul.

"Can you do it?" Zuri had explained all of that and now it depended on him.

For a while, she couldn't hear anything, only the way he groaned painfully, but then she heard how he talked to July through his gritted teeth to bring Rhea with her.

"Bring her here." 𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘦𝑤𝘦𝑏𝓃ℴ𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝑚

Knox felt his inside was being burned the pain was something that he had never endured before.

Hearing that, July didn't hesitate and carry Rhea over. She was still crying, but she was out of energy right now, since she had been thrashing her body, her lips were still trembling, as she mumbled; pain, mommy, I am in pain…

The sight of his daughter made Knox felt another wave of pain. He couldn't imagine how she felt the same pain like him.

"Come closer to me," Knox said weakly.
