"July, what happened?" Zuri opened the door and the first thing that she saw was Knox and Rhea on the bed.

"Zuri!" July immediately stood up and approached Zuri, she pulled her into a tight hug, bawling her eyes, as she buried her face against the crook of her neck. She was in so much pain to see the two of them like that. "What should I do!? Zuri, please… make them wake up! I will do everything… please…"

Zuri was speechless. She wanted Knox to be here because she wanted to discuss this matter with him, but he lost his consciousness as well and now July was asking her the impossible.

She didn't have a heart to tell her that she didn't know either.

Thus, the only thing that she could do was to calm her down the best she could, though it failed miserably, as July was inconsolable.

"Zuri, please… tell me what to do with them? They will be alright, right? Where is Chaos?"

July finally let go of her and then looked at her face for the first time.

Zuri was a shifter, thus even after years had passed, she still looked like her teenage self, July knew about this, because they met not too long time ago, but it didn't apply for July, because she looked like she had aged ten years older now because of all the stress that she had to endure. "Chaos is unconscious, his condition is still the same like them," Zuri told her with heavy heart and watched how crestfallen July was when she heard that. She thought she could get some help, once they were here, but it didn't happen that way.

"I need to find Gael, do you know how he is now?" Zuri knew that Gael was inside the facility in the East Draghar, but she didn't know his current situation and how the other shattered soul with him.

More so, the fact that the dragon ran rampant there made Zuri sure that something way more horrible was going to happen.

"I don't know…" July shook her head, but then she remembered something. "But, I can ask Sebastian. Can I have your phone?"

Zuri immediately gave her her phone, as she dialed a series of number and waited for Sebastian to pick up her call.

"He is not picking up the call," July said, her voice was trembling and Zuri led her to sit down on the sofa, while Nathen took a glass of water to calm her down. "I can't call him…"

Right at that time, Darius came into the room, his expression was terrified, as he spoke. "This is not good."

Zuri clenched her teeth. The last thing that she wanted was to hear a bad news, but it seemed their bad luck wouldn't stop any time soon.

"What now?" Zuri asked through her gritted teeth, while July tensed up. From the look of it, it was easy to tell whatever he said would make things more complicated. "Speak!" She became impatient because Darius kept dragging the information that he had, as he looked at her with dread in his eyes.

"The protection around the Mckeltar manor disappeared!"

All of them knew how important the protection was and that was the reason why they accepted the witches to stay here, because they could protect them from any dark magic or any curses, but Darius said it disappeared?!

"I knew it! Those witches are unreliable! They couldn't be trusted! We shouldn't trust them!" Nathen growled.

Meanwhile, Zuri and July immediately rushed out of the room, as both of them went to the nearby balcony and stared at the night sky.

Though the protection was a transparent thing, but if one took a closer look, you would be able to see a faint light of the protection in the atmosphere, it took a shape like a dome that protected the whole area in this territory.

"Damn it!" Zuri cursed out loud. "Where is Ciara?!"

On the other hand, July was stunned to see this. She trembled in fear, as she remembered what she had done in the past. Before this, she had joined hand with the witch to get herself pregnant. No, it was the help of the devil named Aaron that helped her to get pregnant with Knox's child.

She felt so fool to associate with them!

Now she could understand how strong Knox's warning was to tell her not to engage herself with the like of them, but she didn't listen! She was not so young, but she acted like a teenager when she wanted so bad to have his child.

Why she couldn't see this? Did Zuri know about this? July glanced at her fearfully, but she was too busy to issue a few orders to tighten the security and look for Ciara and the other witches. She wanted them now!

"I don't think we will be able to find them now," Darius replied. "I have looked for them and they had disappeared since yesterday."

Zuri gritted her teeth and balled her fists. She was hopeless right now and didn't know what to do about this whole situation. She really wanted to breakdown and cry, but there was no way she could allow herself to do that.

Meanwhile, July was extremely silent during the whole banter, as Nathen was already gone to inform the new order. He would pull all the warrior and have them to patrol around the area, though it wouldn't help, if they were attacked by magic.

"Hi, white hair! Long time no see!"

All of them turned around upon hearing that cheerful greeting.
