Yunah’s POV

My legs give out, and I stumble backwards as soon as the noise reaches my ears.

I stumble into a warm body, and the person holds my arms to keep me steady.

"Careful" the female voice says and my blush deepens.

It’s the lady that brought my oppa home to Hwangyeon, Miss Moon Gawon.

"T-thank you" I stutter, keeping my voice low...I wouldn’t like them knowing that I almost walked in on them.

"You’re eavesdropping on your brother having sex?" she asks and I blanch, "N-no" I say and step away from with a panicked look on my face.

"No! why would you think that?" I ask, holding up my hand, still panicking and not wanting her to misunderstand me.

"Anything is possible" she says and folds her arms across her chest with a shrug.

She’s wearing one of Yeon mom’s shirts, it looks big on her, but she makes it look good, I divert my eyes to the floor.

Shy about the attention, her cocked brow and her straight face.

"I just wanted to cuddle and then..." I say and look at the door again, on cue, someone lets out a loud moan that makes me press my lips together in shame.

"Huh" she says with a slow nod like she doesn’t believe me.

"Let’s go" I whisper and grab her hand and take her with me to the back of the house, the place Yeon mom has his garden.

As soon as we arrive, I drop her hand and walk away to put a small distance between us.

"You’re red" she murmurs and I cover my face with my palms.

"What were you doing up?" I ask her and sit on the wooden bench, she stands in front of me.

"I couldn’t sleep" she says and I nod my head, bring my legs up to the bench and wrap my arms around them.

"Me too" I say softly.

The moon is full tonight, and the wind is blowing softly, spreading the beautiful smell of flowers around.

"Why?" she asks me before sitting on the bench next to me.

"I just wanted to be cuddled" I say and press my face into my knees, afraid that she might laugh at me.

But she doesn’t.

"I am not used to sleeping, I have too much to worry about" she says to me, and I lift my head to look at her.

Her hair blows softly with the wind, the silver light of the moon on her skins looks perfect...like the moon was made to color her.

I blush at my own thoughts and turn my face away.

"It’s okay, you can look, I haven’t stopped and I won’t stop looking at you" she says and I lift my eyes.

From the moment I saw her shielding my oppa from everyone but me, something about her calls me to her.

She hasn’t even looked at me twice or said anything personal to me except her name...yet I am blushing.

"You don’t have to worry about anything here, Hwangyeon is safe" I say to her.

Gawon doesn’t respond but she changes her position, she is no longer looking at me, she’s now looking at the sky.

She brushes her hair off her shoulder and folds her arms again.

"Do you want to talk about it?" I ask her and she looks at me with a small smile that looks like she’s trying to ease me.

"No, you can’t handle it" she says and I sit up to look at her.

"I can handle it, tell me" I say and she chuckles softly, my eyes widen slightly at the sound.

Her tone is slightly deep but it’s perfectly beautiful for her.

’What am I thinking?’ I scold myself.

"Later...somewhere in the future if I’m still here" she says and turns her head to look at me, her hair falls into her face, just...so pretty.

"You’re pretty" I blurt out and she blinks.

"What?" she asks.

I slap my hand over my mouth with my eyes wide open, feeling shame flood my body, what is wrong with me?

"S-sorry, I don’t know what has gotten into me" I says and she smiles wider.

"You’re leaving?" I ask and she leans back on the bench, looking up at the moon again.

"Where would you go?" I ask and she hums.

"Stay" I say and she looks at me again.

Her eyes drop to my neck, and my hand flies up to touch it...oh.

"It doesn’t matter to me" I whisper and she leans in slightly to look at the bite, she has a frown on her face.

"Where is your mate now?" she asks.

I think for a few seconds, I can’t think of anything that has to do with her, its almost like she never mattered to me.

"I-I don’t know" I say.

Her eyes soften as they roam my face, like she’s trying to see through me.

"I really want to kiss you" she breathes out and I nod my head twice, wanting it.

"You can" I say and she leans in.

"Fuck it" she says and hold the back of my neck to pull me in.
