Jaehyun’s POV

My arms are shaking badly from carrying the omega while I’m still freshly wounded.

I grind my teeth to push through the pain and the blowing wind, the bandage is soaked through with blood, the blood is so heavy that at this point I don’t what I am smelling anymore.

The air is carrying too much weight, things it probably doesn’t want to host, from the smell of blood, to the burning smell of raw pain and a the smell of a fucking garden on fire.

I growl loudly as the pain spreads even more through me, and I hold Yujun tightly, I don’t want to let go.

I’d probably die bleeding out on the floor, but I need to take Yujun to safety first and our pup, at the thought of our pup I flare my nose to catch its scent, I can barely smell right with how overwhelmed I am.

I’m starting to see things floating in the air, and I blink twice to fight against the black spots starting to spread in front of my eyes.

Fuck. My legs are getting weak.

The milk scent is there; I smell it and let out a sigh of relief that bucks my knees.

"Shit, fucking hell" I curse through my teeth, the pain in my arm is spreading fast, too fast that my human body is letting my mind slip slowly.

"OPEN THE DAMN GATE" I shout and the man at gate rushes to open it, "young Lord...let me help" he says and stretches his arm to take Yujun, and I growl at him, loud and rough like a mad man.

No one touches mine.

The side of my vision is starting to turn red, I’m slipping into madness with every step I take into the building, pack members run out to see what is happening and I growl at them.

They all step back with their face wearing shock, the black is spreading, almost touching the red and I let out a raw roar from the pain.

My pack members look worried about me, never there for the drama but for the worry for my sake and my sanity.

I drag my feet util I get to the clan clinic, I know the doctor will be there, he is always there to attend to the clan members.

I push the door open with my wounded shoulder and the old man looks up from his desk, he’s wearing a deep frown, and it deepens even more as soon as he sees me bleeding and carrying another man dressed in lingerie and an oversized shirt.

"Holy..." he says and comes to me, he ushers me into an unoccupied room, and I place Yujun on the bed, blood is already pouring from my injury, seeping through the bandage.

"This is bad, look at you, go lie on a bed too" he says but I don’t make sense of anything, I smile as I catch a smell in the air.

He’s alive.

"Ki Minho" I say the name of the elder and doctor looks at me with his eyes wide and full of worry.

"Jaehyun" he calls and I turn around automatically.

"Jaehyun, NO" he yells, running behind me while my alpha is at the fore front of my mind.

’Control. Control. Give me control’ the wild alpha says, I feel him starting to drool for blood, and I push through until I am at my father’s office.

He’s not here but I take the gun anyways. I don’t want his throne, I just want that damn gun, just need it.

The doctor grabs my arm, and I shake his hold off, I see Jisung hyung standing in the hallway with his arms folded and a scowl on his face with a lit cigarette dangling between his lips.

He shakes his head at the doctor, warning him to stay away from me, I know what I am doing, the reins of control are still in my hands, but I refuse to act like it right now.

When I return to the clinic, and I’m hit with a mix of smells, drugs, antiseptics, the cold air from the conditioner and the smell I’m aiming for.

My alpha supplies and I huff, drops of blood stain the floor with every difficult step I take, I can hardly see but my mission is clear; put an end to elder Ki for real this time.

I don’t fucking miss, but I missed. I fucking missed and I will not miss again, he goes right now.

I enter the room he’s in and there’s another elder next to him.

"Y-young Lord" the other elder stutters and gets to his feet, he looks surprised to see me here holding a gun, visiting the same man I shot just minutes ago.

"Get out of my way" I say in a rough tone, even my voice seems to be coming from outside of me, the man steps away from the bed.

Elder Ki has been bandaged up, what a waste of important first aid tools, he looks at me but can’t speak.

My bullet from earlier went through his throat.

Perfect.

I hold up the gun, and he starts to tremble like the pitiful fuck that he is, he shot my right arm and now I will use that same arm to shoot him. He will bleed to death by the same arm I’m bleeding from.

Motherfucking piece of trash.

"Ahh...ahhh" he screams even before I shoot, shaking his head as he begs for his life, and I smile at him slowly.

My eyes are hooded as my lips stretch into a wicked smile, I’m already excited to blow off his head, he looks perfect sitting like a duck for me.

"Please" he manages to say and blood spills down his chin.

"Spare me" he says, risking his throat to beg for his life.

That is the thing with evil bastards, they feel the urge and the right to decide over your life but beg for theirs when you make your move.

I hiss as my hand shakes, still weak from carrying Yujun and even more weak from holding up the gun.

"I don’t spare bastards" my alpha says and I pull the trigger, the bullet pierces through his chest, right at his heart and the force of the gun pushes me backwards.

Satisfied with fulfilling my mission, the gun slips out of my hand to the floor, and I look at the other elder in the room, he looks horrified with his hand over his mouth.

"Try me, motherf-" the word has hardly left my mouth before the black swallows up the red and I end on the floor.

The floor is cold and smells weird as I slip under the pain, it’s as through the pain goes silent and I sigh weakly.

My Yujun. Our pup.

I fight stubbornly to stay awake, my fighting isn’t over, I still need to see that my omega is okay, but I can’t get up.

The darkness swallows me up but it’s not scary, it’s comfortable as I slip into a quiet world where I am with Yujun, the omega’s hair is grown out and he’s dressed in white silk with a book by his side.

He looks like dream with his head on my lap, the shirt slips open and I see his stomach, flat and without the scars that decorates him...perfectly healed.

"The air is nice today" he says and I hum in response, looking down at his face, he’s fucking mesmerizing like this.

"Why?" he asks, blushing as he looks away from me.

"You’re so fucking beautiful" I say and he smacks my head lightly, "stop cussing like a barbarian" he says, hiding his face.

"You love me still, right?" I ask him and he turns his face, looking at me fondly as his lips stretch.

"I’m sorry for hurting you" I say and he blinks, "I forgive you" he whispers and the breeze blows at the right moment, spreading the beautiful smell of Jasmine.

"Junnah, my Junnie" I say lovingly, I adore this man and will do anything for him.

He lifts his hand to cup my cheek, and I lean into his touch, nuzzling his soft palm and breathing him in, slow and deep.

His palm smells like jasmine and a bit like the book he is reading at the moment.

"I swear to love you right" I mutter into his palm and press a kiss in it, "I know you will" he says and I open my eyes, I m laying on my back in the clan clinic bed.

I turn my head to the side slowly and see that it’s already day, my shoulder has new bandage, and it still hurts like a bitch.

"Fuck" I curse as I push myself up.

"Lie down you stupid boy" doctor says but I don’t listen, I turn up my nose to sniff the air for jasmine and milk but find none.

"Where is Yujun?" I ask.

"Yujun?" the doctor asks me back in confusion, "my omega" I groan.

"Oh, he was taken to the city hospital last night" doctor says and I go frozen.
