Yujun’s POV

Morning comes with my face pressed into Jaehyun’s chest and my own chest is aching.

The alpha groans in his sleep and turns to his back, his movement makes him accidentally brush my chest and I cry out in pain.

"Ow!" I yell and he wakes up, immediately going into panic mode.

"Shit! What happened?" he asks and I push him off the bed, placing my hands to my chest as I frown, "my chest hurts" I say, touching it softly and the alpha stares at me with open mouth.

"Hwang Jaehyun!"

"Sorry, I’ll go get mom" he stutters and runs out of the room, the way his movements are jerky and the way I’m ready to scold him makes me realize just how clueless we both are about this parenting thing.

What would we do if we didn’t live here in Hwangyeon?

With a sigh and out of curiosity I lift my shirt enough to stare at my swollen chest...breasts?

They have swollen even more than when I was pregnant, they’re not big enough to be anything special but are big enough to be concerning.

The knock on the door comes in time for me to pull my shirt down.

"What hurts and why is Jaehyun acting like it’s the end of the world?" Yeon asks with a scowl, and I slowly lift my shirt again, "oh." He says.

"Oh?" I ask and he comes to sit on the edge of the bed in front of me.

"Baby, you are making milk for your pup" Yeon mom says with a clap, like this is the most delightful thing ever and my cheeks turn red.

"I- me?" I ask, not sure what to make of it, "yes, you can breastfeed Haeri, it’s a beautiful thing" he purrs at me and pats my head like he’s proud of me for having milk.

My omega purrs with happiness and leans into the hand of the luna while I’m confused still.

"Is...is everything okay?" Jaehyun asks from the door, and when he sees my shirt lifted, he goes right out again, more red in the face than I am.

"Well, well, well...I’m telling you now, no sex till after four weeks and until I say so"

"Mom" I whine and he shrugs, "and use a condom, or if you can’t wait till then, I have some ideas" he continues.

"MOM!" I yell and cover my ears to avoid hearing more, the omega man only laughs before lifting my chin with his hand.

"You’re sure nothing else hurts?" he asks softly and I think for a second before shaking my head no, "that’s a relief, you lost a lot of blood and had to have a baby immediately, you need to take your time to recover" he says.

"Yes, I understand, I’ll recover" I say and he nods before letting go.

"You can come out for fresh air if you feel like it, I’m sure Haeri will be happy to see a visitor that talking in permanent baby voice" he says with laughter and I figure it’s Yunah that is being referred to.

I get out of the bed to go with him, but my body feels weak and tired.

"Lean on me" Yeon says and gets closer to me.

With his help, I make my way out of the room and find Jaehyun leaning against the wall with his hands held in front of him, like he’s hiding a bulge.

Is he turned on by me or is it just morning wood?

How can he even be turned on by me when my body is even more scarred, my belly bloated and my chest is doing...whatever this is.

"We’re going to see Haeri, want to come?" Yeon asks and Jaehyun smiles in response, he doesn’t try to take me from his mom, he just follows us from behind.

I can already hear the loud baby talk and giggling even before we get into the room.

"Haeri, who’s the cutest? You, yes you!" my sister is saying the baby in her arms and Haeri just stares at her, with adorable red eyes and pouted lips...probably the only features she took from me.

"Hello" I greet and Yunah’s smile brightens even more.

"Oppa!" she greets and comes to give me a kiss on the cheek, "hey, how are you?" I ask her and her bottom lip quivers, "you scared us, I’m so glad you’re okay" she says.

"I’m sorry for scaring you, it won’t happen" I say and she nods.

Gawon comes to give me a hug that surprises me, I know she is rarely emotionally expressive, she feels so soft today.

"I’m sorry", "Thank you" we say at the same time and I laugh, "sorry?" I ask.

"I’m sorry for putting you in danger" she says and Yunah looks between us, confused at what we are talking about, "what is going on?" she asks.

"I’ll tell you later" Gawon answers and I hug her again, being careful of my chest as I do.

"No need to be sorry, I’m here now and saying thank you" I say and she nods, looking at someone behind me and I look back to see that it’s my mate, he is watching our interaction quietly.

Did they settle their uncalled-for beefing?

"Oppa, look, Haeri has your pout" Yunah calls and I go over to her to look into my baby’s face, Haeri yawns and blinks twice before jutting out her bottom lip even more.

"Why is she so cute? Oh, that’s right, I’m her aunt" Yunah says and we all laugh and shake our head, finding her joke adorable.

"Come sit and hold her, I have to leave for work, see you later" Yeon says and comes to kiss the baby in Yunah’s hand.

"See you later, little miss red" he coos at baby Haeri.

"I never get special treatments from anyone" Jaehyun murmurs and his mom raises his fist at him playfully, "you overgrown puppy" he tsks and walks away.

I sit on the rocking chair that Yeon had brought for me to use and Yunah hands Haeri to me.

This time I’m not scared to hold her, and the moment I hold her, she snuggles into my chest like she knows who I am, the little gesture means the world to me and I smile happily at our alpha.

"See? I told you you’ll do great" Jaehyun says, smiling back at me.

My heart expands even more and I love it.

I love this so much.
