Vampire Cultivation System in a Hidden World of Monsters-Chapter 173 - 174: The Vampire Association Council
As I was gearing up, I came up with a new plan. I wasn’t sure it would work because there were so many, but I could just steal all the weapons instead. My inventory had infinite capacity.
And I had Midas to help me, who could suck them up really quick. I started putting every weapon I saw into my inventory, and I sent Midas onto the third floor, to start sucking up everything that looked remotely like a weapon to him.
Then we would meet in the middle. It took about an hour, but we did it. I was surprised no one came down here, but it made sense. No one needed weapons right now. Most, if not all of the soldiers who ever needed weapons were all dead at my complex.
I made sure to check behind the cage where the guy was sitting. The door was locked but I just cut out the lock with a small buzzsaw I made out of blood.
When I got in there, I did find some weapons, but not too many. They were probably just there for his defense if someone got rowdy. Well, someone got rowdy, but he wasn’t ready.
After I’d stolen every weapon in the place, I walked out of the armory. I was wearing that heavy silver armor some of the soldiers were using at the complex, I had a silver shield and a silver sword. I was decked out and ready to play.
At first I thought the silver armor would hinder me. That it would prevent me from using blood manipulation, but it didn’t. There were thin pads all over the inside of the armor that prevented the armor from actually touching my skin. Same with the shield.
I made my way to the council chambers. I kicked down the doors and yelled, "Any last words, assholes?"
"Who are you?" The one in the highest seat said. He was the asshole who sentenced me to death.
"I’m Dylan Sanguis, motherfuckers! You sent a death squad to the dragon territories, remember?" I said.
"Yes. What does that have to do with you? Also, how are you alive? I saw your head get chopped off, myself," he said.
"Well I was the one who took down the dragons. So I was holding the dragon territories and you threatened the lives of the people I care about. So I’m here to retaliate. You started this fight. Now, I’m ending it," I said.
"I’m alive because, I’m a really good cultivator. That’s all you need to know. I’m here to take over the vampire territories, since you tried to take over mine. Will you submit, or will you die?"
"I’m afraid we can’t submit to you. We submit to a higher authority and cannot break that bond," he said.
"What, like Shikasa? Here’s some surprise news, Shikasa is my mom, and she’s on my side. So submit!" I said.
"Even if that were true, which there’s no way it is, we wouldn’t be able to submit. We submit to a different more earthly authority than her," he said.
"Who do you submit to then?" I said.
"We submit to the European Vampire Association. All other branches, including us, submit to them. Even if we wanted to submit to you, we can’t break our blood oath with them," the lead vampire said.
"Well, then, it looks like I’m going to have to kill you," I said.
"Wait! If you kill us, you’ll be making an enemy of every Vampire Association globally. Not just the European Association. You’ll be signing your own death warrant!" He said.
"Then so be it. It’s not like you guys would stop trying to kill me if I left here right now. You’d just make your council chambers more secure, and then attack me again. If I have to kill you and them to get some peace around here, then that’s what I’ll do," I said.
I threw out a blood swipe that arced out to cover all of the vampires in the council. It cut their heads off, their bodies to pieces, and their desks exploded into wood chunks. Just one blood swipe ended it all.
"That was so…" I said.
"Anticlimactic?" A voice behind me said.
I turned around to see Elder Alfred Bader standing in the door frame of the room. He looked at the murdered council members like they were a curiosity and nothing more.
"I can’t say I’ll miss them. They certainly ran this place into the ground. The only thing they really had going for them was loyal soldiers to do their bidding. They had enthralled hundreds of vampires under them to enforce their laws and rules," he said.
"But you killed most of them in the battle I heard about over in the dragon territories. Their deaths was an inevitable conclusion of you winning that battle. If you didn’t kill them, some upstart would’ve. Or maybe even I would have, if you hadn’t beaten me to the decision. I trust everything went alright with Shikasa? You couldn’t have gotten that much stronger on your own."
"Thank you for your faith in my abilities, Master. But you are correct. I was able to summon Shikasa with that ridiculous ritual in that book. Turns out all of those rituals were bullshit. Including the last one. I just happened to do the right steps to summoning her accidentally during the ritual," I said.
I took the helmet off my suit of armor. It was extremely hot in that thing, and I doubted my voice was easy to understand. I ended up taking the whole suit off. Thing was a nuisance.
I was still wearing my academy uniform underneath, so I didn’t have to show my Master Bader my wang.
"Well, I apologize for giving you such a shitty book, but even if it worked accidentally, it still worked. So I’ll take some credit for that. How did the training go? Is she really mean and tough? What’s she like? And how did you convince her to train you?" He said.
"Oh, yeah, Shikasa is actually my mom. So it didn’t take much convincing. I just told her I would die in a month if she didn’t train me and she agreed to it," I said.
"Shikasa is your mother? Well, that would explain the outrageously fast cultivation progress and omni-vampire status," he said. "Could you introduce me? I’ve always wanted to meet her, but generally speaking you can’t meet goddesses. I’ve just read so much about her."
"I can introduce you, but you may or may not regret it. You know what they say about meeting your heroes," I said. "She is a very tough trainer though. Even on me. And I’m her son."
"That makes sense. She’s a goddess. It’s only logical she would demand perfection," he said.
"I think it’s less the perfection part and more just the fact that all she does all day everyday is cultivate in eternity. She doesn’t get how hard it is for other people to learn her techniques because it’s like breathing to her. I’m an insanely fast learner and she even gets impatient with me," I said.
"You’ll have to wait until tomorrow to meet her though, because she’s on a date," I said.
"I am so jealous of that man," he said.
"Don’t be. She’s just a person like everyone one else. Just because she’s divine does not mean she doesn’t have flaws," I said. "Well, apparently the European Association and all the other associations will be coming after me soon, so I should probably head back. Can you handle this mess?"
Alfred Bader looked back at the destroyed vampire council and said, "Yeah. I think I can figure this out."
"Cool," I said, and left.
When I got back to the hotel, I wanted so badly to knock on my mother’s hotel door, but I resisted the urge. She could be in there with Johnny and I didn’t want to interrupt anything if anything were to actually happen between them.
Instead, I telepathically contacted Alice and Victoria. I met them in Victoria’s room. When I walked in, I fell face down on the bed, and said, "Can we just cuddle and sleep? I’m exhausted after today."
"Sure," Alice said.
"Yeah, hon. We can do that," Victoria said.

We cuddled and slept.
In the morning, I needed to talk to my mother. I knocked on her door. She answered with sleep in her eyes. "What’s going on?" She said.
"I need your help," I said. "Get dressed, get some coffee, and meet me for breakfast."

"So what’s this all about?" Shikasa said, as she reached for the sugar jar.
"No, not that one," I said. I grabbed the sugar jar she had been reaching for and put it closer to me. "This one." I showed her the sugar jar that had just been behind the one I took away.
"Oook," Shikasa have me a weird look and grabbed the other sugar jar. She poured it and sugar came out just fine.
I looked down at the jar near me. I grabbed it and tried to pour sugar into my coffee. It made the sound, "Psshh!" but nothing came out. I put it back down. Just like I thought. It was Penny in sugar jar form. I drank from my black sugarless coffee and looked across the table at my mother and smiled.
