Village Head's Debauchery-Chapter 1287: Reclaiming The Six Regions
For every region annexed by the Celestial Spirit Court, a commander was stationed to control the surrounding regions and monitor them for the Court.
Though it would be better for them to place a commander in each region to ensure complete dominance and prevent a rebellion in the Floating Frost Valley from ever erupting, considering the countless regions within the Spirit Realm and the Court's desire to continually expand their forces, it wasn't efficient.

Most of all, their region and the surrounding regions had suffered a great calamity thousands of years ago, before the emergence of the Celestial Spirit Court, which left them with only their strongest being at the Knight rank. So, there was no need for them to waste resources suppressing such weak regions.
Unfortunately, who would have known that the Floating Frost Valley residents would continuously be able to rebel and fight against the Celestial Spirit Court forces over and over again? Although it was commendable, considering the frequency of these rebellions, the Celestial Spirit Court would undoubtedly choose to wipe them out and replace them with more submissive residents to send a message.
Even with an Aristocrat-ranked Spirit Beast by their side, their defeat was inevitable. Sometimes, submission was better than foolishly fighting back with no hope of emerging victorious.
"The Commander informed us that he has received information that the Court will send several Aristocrat-ranked and a Baron-ranked Spirit Beast to handle the matter swiftly and ensure that another rebellion doesn't rise again," the Black Feathered Winged Monkey responded.
The leader of the Black Feathered Winged Monkey tribe's lips curved into a smile. "Good. With their help, we will surely crush the Floating Frost Valley and make them regret ever stirring up a rebellion. There's a chance the Celestial Spirit Court will choose to eliminate them all this time and replace them with other tribes," he added.
"Have you received any information regarding the scout?" he asked, his tone curious.
"No, the Commander didn't relay any information about them to me. He simply said that we should prepare for an all-out war," the Black Feathered Winged Monkey responded, shaking his head.
The leader of the Black Feathered Winged Monkey tribe frowned. With the scout's information, they would have known how to prepare for the war. But without any intelligence, wasn't this the same as asking them to wage war against an Aristocrat Spirit Beast blindly?
Though they had reinforcements, he was sure they would still be on the front lines, so it didn't make any sense to withhold such crucial information.
Suddenly, he sighed. Nonetheless, they had no authority to question a Commander of the Celestial Spirit Court, so they could only remain silent and obey.
"Have you received any information from the Silver Winged Rhinos?" the leader of the Black Feathered Winged Monkey tribe asked. Among the various tribes, they were the only three tribes who chose to surrender and aid the Celestial Spirit Court in their conquest.
Fortunately, the Court had accepted them, or else they would have been turned into consumables like the others.
"The Matriarch of the Silver Winged Rhinos is also devastated by the losses of their members and wishes to discuss combining our forces and tactics for the upcoming war," the Black Feathered Winged Monkey responded.
The leader of the Black Feathered Winged Monkey tribe nodded. Just as he was about to speak, he noticed a vast shadow overhead.
A massive crystalline figure the shape of a hydra with one head appeared out of nowhere, hovering above them as its feet descended toward their position. His eyes widened in shock, and he attempted to flee, but as he tried to move, he realized he was frozen in place.
The other Black Feathered Winged Monkey quickly understood what was happening and soon realized the same. They could only watch in horror as the being stomped its feet upon them.
BAMM!! BOOOM!!
A deep rumble reverberated across the forest.
Dust and clouds rose into the air as its feet sank into the ground.
The colossal crystalline figure lifted its foot, revealing a deep, 30-meter imprint embedded in the soil.
The two Black-Feathered Winged Spirit Beasts were killed, scattering into specks of light that vanished into the air.
Standing atop the colossal crystalline hydra construct was a Crystalia. She stared down at the crushed land with a nonchalant gaze. She turned her attention toward various directions, listening to the countless rumblings and the screams of monkeys echoing across the forest.
She waved her hand at the imprint in the ground. Instantly, the ground reshaped, returning to normal. She opened her hand, gathering a ball of crimson flame in her palm. She threw it toward the spot where the imprint had been.
It scorched the earth, leaving behind a devastating blackened scar.
Their goal was to crush the remaining Celestial Spirit Court forces in the other regions one by one, reducing their numbers while making it seem as though Zymera had taken action. This way, when the Celestial Spirit Court's reinforcements arrived, the Floating Frost Valley wouldn't be too overwhelmed and would be able to push them back.
By doing this, they would also seize the opportunity to free the Spirit Beast tribes in other regions, bringing them to join the Floating Frost Valley forces. When the Celestial Spirit Court's forces emerged, they would face not just one region but multiple regions they had previously annexed.
....
In another region besides the Floating Frost Valley, the landscape was filled with sky-piercing peaks and rugged terrain.
At the base of one of the massive peaks lay a colossal wolf, about 60 meters (197ft) tall, with fur that curled like metallic strings. This was the Commander of the Celestial Spirit Court, stationed in this region, now called the Celestial Rift Peak, which served as their base to monitor the surrounding annexed regions.
At that moment, his ash-coloured slitted eyes were fixed on a Wingless Horned Gryphon several times smaller than him, crouching before him.
"Have you managed to communicate with the scouts?" the Commander of the Celestial Spirit Court asked.
"No, Commander. It appears your assumptions were correct. They might... all be dead," the Wingless Horned Gryphon responded, his tone and body trembling with fear. He understood the gravity of the situation and could hardly believe that all of this had been caused by the Floating Frost Valley, which they had entirely suppressed.
Now that the scouts sent to observe the Valley and report back were missing, he could only wait for the Commander's response and hope he wouldn't unleash his anger on them.
A low, resonating growl emerged from the Commander. He said, "This is certainly the work of Scorching Bloom."
Others might not know, but as one of the Aristocrat-ranked Spirit Beasts who had pursued Zymera when she destroyed Celestial Spirit Court bases in the surrounding regions, he was aware that she had the ability to split herself into seven beings, each possessing a unique ability and retaining the same power as her original self. As such, only she could fully secure the entire Floating Frost Valley.
Though the Celestial Spirit Court had Spirit Beasts who could split themselves, none were as formidable as her. This made her a tricky opponent to deal with and was one of the reasons she had managed to escape their previous ambush of 2,000 Knight-ranked Spirit Beasts.
At that time, he had assumed she would remain in hiding due to her decision to flee, but it seemed he had underestimated her. She was likely just waiting for the right time to strike when they were unprepared.
'If I had known she would become this bold, I would have asked for reinforcements earlier once more to kill her at that time. Now, not only will I be questioned, but I also risk losing my position. This time, I will make sure I eliminate her and consume her myself,' the Commander thought.
The Commander focused on the Wingless Horned Gryphon and said, "We aren't yet certain if she has support, so in the meantime, pass a message to the Spirit Beasts of Verdant Sigh Expanse, Cragspire Highlands, Azure Fog Plateau, Mistshroud Highland, and Celestial Rift Peaks. Tighten their security, and inform us if they notice anything strange."
"They will serve as cannon fodder at the forefront of the war, so we don't want any surprises…" Just as he was about to finish his sentence, he paused. His eyes widened in shock and surprise as he saw the enormous crystalline hydra overhead. His metallic, curled fur sprang outwards, forming armour around his body.
Before it could completely shield him, the colossal crystalline hydra with one head landed on him, crushing him and the earth below with a resonating "BANG!! BOOM!!" Even the Wingless Horned Gryphon beside him wasn't spared and was flattened to the ground.
They were both instantly killed, their bodies scattering into specks of light that vanished into the surroundings.
High above the area, Elysia's clone observed their deaths and nodded. She waved her hand, healing the land that her colossal crystalline construct had crushed.
