Julian thought for a few seconds, weighing the options before him but in the end, for knowledge, he decided that accompanying Puck to her room was not bad.

He still couldn’t believe that this tiny Fairy that made him feel like patting her head all the time was over 500 years old.

In the end, he agreed. "Ok".

"Yayyyyy!" Puck immediately flew up and cheered in excitement.

She took a few seconds to calm down, then she started. "Domain Overlap is the evolution of domain mastery and like I told you, Awakened can only access it at Level 90".

"Instead of deploying one unified domain, Domain Overlap enables an Awakened to layer multiple domain effects simultaneously, each enforcing a different rule set".

The more she explained, the more excited Puck got as she spoke extremely fast almost like she was rapping, but in a cute fairy voice.

"Domain Overlap represents partial conceptualization, just below S Rank".

"At Level 70, 1 domain is equal to 1 law but at Level 90, Domain Overlap ensures that 1 domain can be equal to multiple laws operating at once".

"The Awakened can split authority, sustaining overlapping effects without collapse and it’s safe to say that actually doing it is extremely hard. It requires even more focus and qi talent than Domain Expansion".

"This doesn’t matter though because only the strongest and the best of the best of every race and Class can ascend to Level 90, like me". She said smugly.

Julian smiled, then he asked. "Does it have any limitations?"

"Ah, yes!" Puck said, then her face fell. "Domain Overlap has similar limitations as Domain Expansion, but the most hateful one is the fact that Awakened can only overlap a maximum of 2 domains at A Rank".

Puck almost started crying on the spot as she said. "That means I have to be Level 100 and S Rank before I can overlap a third domain, unfair!"

’Unfair? You literally have two domains while I don’t even yet have a sniff of one’. Julian wisely kept his thoughts to himself.

Puck calmed down and continued. "Also, each domain overlap increases qi drain exponentially".

At this point, Puck puffed up her cheeks in pride and said. "Pandora can barely maintain her two domains for 10 seconds when using Domain Overlap, but I can maintain mine for 2 minutes!"

’Impressive’. Julian thought, genuinely impressed.

But then, Puck’s face suddenly turned sad again. "The mental strain of maintaining it scales with duration, or else I would be able to maintain mine for more than 2 minutes, humph!" She snorted.

Julian nodded in agreement with her but inside, he was thinking. ’What are you? A switch? Your emotion keep on switching between happy and sad’.

He chuckled to himself and let her continue.

This time, Puck’s face turned serious as she said. "In battle, losing focus causes collapse of not just one layer but all layers of your domain, resulting in a backlash that leaves you vulnerable".

"This is why it’s advisable that if you’re not confident in maintaining the overlap, it’s better to use just Domain Expansion".

Julian nodded thoughtfully, then he asked. "What of S Rank?"

Puck shrugged. "I’m not sure, but most of these limits should be removed or at least ignored at S Rank".

Julian nodded, clearly satisfied then he said. "Before we go to your room, let’s pay a visit to Sir Alfred first".

Puck pouted but she didn’t complain. "Ok".

They disappeared out of the room.

When Julian opened his eyes, he immediately saw himself in front of a familiar reinforced black door.

Before Puck could knock, the door opened by itself the next moment, revealing a well-groomed middle-aged man standing by the door like he was waiting for them.

Julian blinked. ’He predicted me coming again?’

He remembered that this happened too the last time that he came to seek out Sir Alfred. ’Is this a high level skill of Mages?’

He felt a thrill and deeper yearning for more power.

"Welcome Lord Zaratul, welcome Ms. Puck". Sir Alfred greeted respectfully before stepping aside to let them in.

Julian didn’t stand on ceremony as he led the way in while Ms. Puck followed.

The tiny Fairy was unscrupulous as without paying attention to Sir Alfred, she casually flew towards his bed and sat down, bouncing slightly on the bed as if to test its hardness then she revealed a satisfied expression.

Seeing this, Sir Alfred’s eyes twitched slightly but he refrained from commenting as he looked at Lord Zaratul who stood before him.

"My Lord, to what do I owe the honor of your visit?"

Julian didn’t answer immediately as he looked at the powerful Mage, instead he used his System Snooping Tool.

Finally, Julian revealed his intentions for coming. "Convene a meeting in the grand hall in 2 hours, I want to meet all of you".

"Is this possible?" Julian asked.

Sir Alfred’s brain whirred as his eyes briefly glowed a grayish white, then he said. "Dante and Xoreth are currently outside the castle, but I should be able to find them and convene the meeting in 2 hours".

"Good". Julian nodded in satisfaction, then he finally left with Puck.
