Villain Simulator-Chapter 150: Rosalie’s Heart Sank To The Bottom
Victory had been Rosalie’s constant companion and comrade from the day she was born.
She was a prodigy in every field she entered because of her unparalleled talent and unrelenting persistence.
Regardless of the challenges she faced, she always found a way to emerge victorious.
But everything changed a month ago when he came—Adrian, a mere insect, unworthy even of the title ’trash.’
A commoner, and a worm crawling on the ground.
No, he was less than that—an amoeba that couldn’t even be a worm who, despite his lowly status, not only took advantage of her laid-back attitude and carelessness to ambush and defeat her in the entrance exam but also used his sharp tongue to twist words and dared to publicly humiliate her by targeting those closest to her.
His insolence only fueled Rosalie’s determination to assert her dominance. She craved to crush him underfoot, to reign supreme over all.
Consequently, she took it upon herself to prove her superiority in the monthly tests, and despite the setback of the previous month’s defeat and loss in the first round of the mothly test, she clung to hope.
Rosalie was confident that Adrian had cheated and that she herself was far superior to him and would certainly emerge victorious overall.
But today, as she held the result paper in her trembling hands, the numbers stared back at her, mocking her and casting doubt on her supposed superiority.

Rosalie’s worst nightmares unfolded before her eyes.
Once again, she was defeated.
A whirlwind of emotions washed over her as her thoughts twisted out of control.
She tried to maintain a calm demeanor, but a furrow formed on her brow, and a mix of rage and disbelief rose up in her heart as she felt the brunt of her failure crashing down on her.
Fortunately, or unfortunately, before she could sink deeper into these negative emotions, Alex’s unexpected scream broke her focus and brought her back to her senses.
"What the fuck!"
…..
『The mind is a map, but the heart is a compass.』
Rosalie had always lived by this mantra.
From the tender age when she first comprehended the world around her, she had felt it—the gentle pull of destiny, a silent voice from within that had guided her through life’s complicated paths.
It was a sixth sense, an innate gift built into her being.
Whenever she heeded its call, she either reaped great rewards or avoided disaster.
So when that same intuition pricked her consciousness once more during the monthly examination, warning of impending trouble, Rosalie couldn’t ignore it.
’What happened?!’
Initially taken aback by the sudden unease, Rosalie quickly focused her thoughts, zeroing in on a name.
’Adrian.’
For reasons she couldn’t quite articulate, her intuition pointed to him as the source of her unease, and when she was made to think deeply about his actions, she realized that something was really wrong.
First of all, how did he arrive so quickly before her at that location?
Not only that, but he took the smallest ball and hid the second ball in a more difficult spot.
This made it all the more questionable.
Why not take the second-smallest ball with him?
Why leave it there if he wanted to make finding it difficult for others?
These thoughts surfaced in Rosalie’s mind and stuck like thorns, refusing to leave.
Despite this, though, she couldn’t find an answer to her question.
But that didn’t matter to her.
Feeling unsettled and attributing it to Adrian, she took immediate action and discarded the only connection between them in the test—the second-smallest ball in her hand.
Though her heart ached at the decision, she knew it was necessary. And, as fate would have it, her intuition once again proved to be her saving grace.
"Ah—no, fuck fuck fuck fuck! Why did I get a zero?!!"
Hearing Alex’s cries snapped her out of her daze; her thoughts raced, and she grasped the situation at a glance.
’My intuition was right.’
Once again, her instincts saved her.
Something was really wrong with the ball.
Yet, despite this realization, two burning questions lingered in her mind:
What did Adrian do with the ball, and how did he do it?
Rosalie shook her head. For the moment, she pushed those questions aside as she found herself thrust into an unexpected situation.
While she had been in a daze because of the two shocks back-to-back, Alex had already grabbed Adrian’s collar and lifted him up.
Despite how lowly Adrian was, Rosalie knew he was strong—much stronger than Alex, and he had already proved it in the first class in front of everyone.
So seeing Alex rush so boldly towards him and grab his collar left Rosalie stumbling in disbelief.
Unfortunately, Rosalie had barely had time to gather her thoughts before a sudden surge of murderous intent sent shivers down her spine.
Her gaze immediately shifted to Adrian, who was emanating a level of killing intent comparable to that of the most vicious members of her family, with the blood of countless people on their hands.
’No! He’s going to kill Alex!’
Blinded by her fear, Rosalie failed to recognize that Adrian was holding back. To her inexperienced eyes, his released killing intent seemed genuinely lethal, and she feared for Alex’s life.
She thought Adrian, who was releasing all his killing intent, was really about to kill Alex, and the reason he allowed Alex to grab him was to agitate him to make the first move.
And as Rosalie had expected, the enraged Alex couldn’t hold back.
"You son of a bitch!!!"
He screamed, and Rosalie understood that he was about to explode.
But she couldn’t allow him to do that.
He was still useful to her, and his sister, the future heir of the Clinton family, was still her best friend.
"ALEX!!"
With a sense of urgency, Rosalie rushed to defuse the situation before it spiraled out of control.
In her haste to calm him down, she resorted to a sharp slap across his face.
Smack!
"Rosalie!"
Ignoring his protests, she slapped him again.
Smack!
Only after he fell silent did she stop her assault and shout.
"Have you gone insane?! Did you forget that only someone with no ball can steal your magic formula?!"
"…I."
Fortunately, Alex came to his senses.
Sadly, it was already too late at that moment.
Bang!
The classroom door burst open, and Isabella strode in, her voice booming with fury.
"I said no commotion!!!"
Rosalie’s heart stopped almost immediately as she saw Isabella and heard her scream.
"You fucking idiot!"
Most people assumed Isabella was scolding Alex, but Rosalie sensed that it was actually her, that Isabella was calling her an idiot.
’Idiot... Am I an idiot? Yes!’
The realization struck her like a lightning bolt.
’If one cannot steal the formula with a ball, and since Alex is a talent worthy of being in the top 10 even in the S tier and what he wrote was exactly what was on the ball, then that meant only one thing...’
What was written on the ball was wrong.
’Shit! How did I not realize this sooner?’
Rosalie cursed herself, her mind racing with self-reproach. But amidst her frustration, another question emerged.
’How did he do it? No... does it even matter?’
The method didn’t really matter in the big picture.
What mattered was that Adrian had orchestrated it all—a trap meticulously laid out.
’Not for Alex, but for me.’
Since the beginning, he had been targeting Rosalie, whether through the entrance exams, Jessica, Alex, or now these monthly exams.
’Fortunately, I listened to my intuition, or else...’
Shiver!
A shiver went down Rosalie’s back as she thought about what might have happened had she used that ball.
Her heart plummeted.
What came first was not anger but dread.
She was terrified of being publicly shamed and demoted.
It would have destroyed her life and the reputation she had spent years building, leaving her nothing more than a laughingstock for the general public.
Such a future flashed in her mind, and Rosalie’s eyes widened; her face turned pale as she subconsciously turned to Adrian.
Beads of sweat covered her forehead.
It was as if she had seen a ghost.
But then, when she noticed him tilting his head towards her, feigning innocence as if oblivious to the chaos unfolding, an inferno of rage erupted within her. Toward this insignificant cockroach who dared to plot against her.
Who dared to challenge her...
Who dared attempt to bring her down...
She felt the urge to unleash her fury upon him, to tear him apart, chop him to pieces, and subject him to eternal torture.
But she restrained herself.
"Phew!"
Despite the tempest of rage within her, a thin thread of reason held her back.
Losing her composure now would tarnish her reputation irreparably.
Aside from that, everything was still speculation.
How could someone find two of the hardest-to-find Mana balls in just 30 minutes and subtly change the magical formula a Lumina Academy professor had inscribed so that even Alex missed it?
Rosalie’s mind raced with doubts.
’Yes, maybe I am just overthinking about it. Maybe Alex really made some errors.’
Rosalie tried to reassure herself, but her hopes were swiftly shattered by Isabella’s response to Alex’s cries of injustice.
"What you wrote was complete bullshit."
"I wrote according to the magic formula in the ball!"
"It doesn’t matter to me. These are all the notes on your ball, prepared not just by me but by the collective staff of Lumina. Check for yourself if this is what you wrote."
Isabella’s voice dripped with apathy as she tossed a couple of sheets of paper.
They fluttered through the air and struck Alex’s face, causing him to almost faint upon reading them.
