Villain Simulator-Chapter 155: Enjoying Date With Veena
After officially fixing my date with Veena, the days quickly passed, and before long, the night of our rendezvous arrived.
As the sun set and darkness fell, I used my skill [Concealment] to sneak out of my dorm and headed toward our secret spot, while my thoughts drifted back to the past week.
The week had been both eventful and uneventful at the same time.
Due to my bizarre actions that everyone saw after my meeting with Rosalie, there were some indecent rumors about us, which earned me a lot of hatred from the boys and perverted looks from the girls.
However, the explosive news of Alex’s demotion overshadowed it, pushing those rumors to the back of most people’s minds.
The news that Rosalie finished in second place after losing to me once more in the tests also attracted a lot of attention.
Nevertheless, because the Cypra family was suppressing it with an iron hand, no one dared to mention it explicitly.
Regardless, this situation caused my popularity to skyrocket even more.
Despite not giving my new number to anyone except for official academy forms, it somehow leaked and was then flooded with invitations, recruitment offers from various guilds, interview requests, and more.
Obviously, I rejected them all without a second thought.
Leaving the academy was a death sentence for me at the moment. And allowing someone inside the academy to conduct an interview, in which my words were likely to be manipulated to damage all elite families’ reputations, including Cypra and Clinton, not only carried the risk of assassination but also put me in an even more precarious position.
People might not understand from the surface, but I, who understood the inside, knew that although everything seemed to be going smoothly for me and I was safe and secure inside the academy, the truth was far from that.
In reality, I was treading on a thin thread, where even one wrong step or a slight miscalculation could place me in extreme danger.
To be honest, Rosalie’s open threats about kidnapping me from within the academy and getting me poisoned by people close to me silently were not empty. The Cypra family could indeed kill me, even inside the academy, if they were truly hell-bent to do so.
However, they refrained because the loss they would incur by going against the academy would not be worth the gain. Especially for someone like me, who was like an ant in their eyes—an ant whom they could squash as they pleased—anytime, anywhere.
After all, one day I would have to leave the academy, and despite my prodigious talent, how strong could I get in just a few months, years, or even decades?
I was just one person with inherent limits to what I could achieve, and they knew this well.
Moreover, if my understanding of the head of the Cypra family—Rosalie’s father—was correct, then at the moment, I was simply a whetstone in his eyes.
The perfect whetstone to sharpen his knife—his daughter Rosalie, who had never found a match and had never been defeated.
To him, I was merely a tool.
But the moment I tried to pull a fast one on him, the moment he thought the whetstone could damage his knife’s blade or become an eyesore, the moment I lifted a weapon publicly against the Cypra family or other elite families, my elimination would be inevitable.
The same would be true if I made Rosalie, Alex, Jessica, or any other influential individual feel that I needed to be eliminated at any cost.
When they realized they couldn’t take me down alone, I knew I’d have to risk my life to survive in this world. At that point, they wouldn’t care about whether killing me was worth it or not, and they would certainly decide to end me outright.
Of course, this situation wasn’t going to remain the same forever.
In fact, I had already set the pieces on this chessboard, and my move was complete.
Now, all I had to do was wait for the upcoming Dungeon Expedition.
If things had played out as planned and I had successfully manipulated the protagonist into thinking the way I wanted, then this Dungeon Expedition would be the turning point I needed.
’If everything goes according to plan, not only Jessica but even Rosalie herself won’t allow any harm to come to me. Hehehe.’
Chuckling inwardly, I arrived at the secret meeting spot behind the neem tree, where I saw a woman waiting for me.
"Got here early?"
"Just arrived."
Veena, who had been squatting while leaning against the tree, stood up. I slowly looked her over. Instead of the punk-style leather clothes she usually wore, she was dressed in a beautiful pink corset-style formal dress with white frills.
Not only that, but to conceal her identity, she also wore a hazelnut-colored wig with twin ponytails and blue contact lenses that perfectly hid her pink eyes.
"Were you looking forward to this a lot?"
"What are you saying? I just dressed normally."
Yet she even put on makeup, something she never did before?
She was naturally beautiful, but today was a sight I hadn’t seen before. It was clear at a glance that Veena had made an effort to get ready for today’s date.
In fact, if we hadn’t discussed our disguises beforehand, even I wouldn’t have recognized her.
Speaking of disguises, I was wearing a black wig, black contact lenses, and wide-rimmed glasses. These items were easily available in the market, so I purchased a bundle a few days earlier when I went out at night.
As for my clothes, I opted for simple black jeans and a white t-shirt.
"I was really looking forward to this."
"Hmm."
Like a caring boyfriend, I then walked up to Veena and hugged her gently.
It wasn’t a harassing touch but rather the warmth of lovers. Veena, though taken aback, didn’t seem to dislike my embrace.
"Shall we go?"
"Yeah," she replied softly.
Without wasting time, I embraced her tightly, and then, using my skills [Concealment] and [Anti-Magic] on both of us, I jumped over the wall and directly crossed the barrier in a split second.
After successfully landing on the other side, I deactivated my skill and released my embrace.
Realizing that we were finally outside all alone without anyone following us, Veena couldn’t help but look back at the academy’s boundary walls, then at the small road and trees in front of us, as if she were in a daze.
From the opposite side of the trees, she could hear motor cars honking and passing by. Veena froze for a second and then took a few deep breaths as though relishing her newfound freedom.
I didn’t disturb her, allowing her to relax and attune herself to the world outside.
Fortunately, she finished quickly and turned to me, taking my hand in hers.
Something had obviously changed within her. Though I couldn’t pinpoint exactly what it was, I intuitively felt it was a positive transformation.
With nothing else stopping us, we walked for a minute until we reached a nearby crossroads. From there, we took a taxi and headed straight to the nearest famous night market.
Reaching our destination, I stepped out of the taxi and onto the streets with a bashful Veena. The bustling nightlife filled the streets with energy.
As we walked, I noticed women glancing my way with obvious intentions. Each time that happened, Veena’s grip on my hand tightened, and she glared at the onlookers.
"Ah."
Eventually, as if to assert her dominance, Veena pulled me closer and slung her arm over my shoulder.
I was surprised by her bold actions but didn’t pull away, and I enjoyed the warmth of her body against mine. We strutted down the street, boldly declaring that we were a couple.
Of course, it wasn’t just about showing off. We were clearly on a date.
"Wow."
Veena gasped at the beautifully decorated street. White and blue mana stones adorned the buildings and roads, creating a sight as marvelous as if we were at a magical seaside port.
"Did you research this place beforehand?"
"It’s a date with you, so naturally we couldn’t just wander down any ordinary street."
This place [Amour Alley] was a must-visit for couples. I had researched it online and in various local forums beforehand, and it was often mentioned as a place that people most wanted to visit with their partners.
"Veena, have you never been here? It’s quite famous as a tourist spot."
"I’ve heard of it, but I never had a reason to come alone, especially with my busy schedule."
"It’s nice to come with a man, right?"
There were many couples holding hands around us. Veena seemed to feel that having me by her side made her no less pleased than those people. Plus, the fact that I was the most handsome of them all made Veena all the more proud, her chin slightly raised.
But as she noticed my mischievous smile and gaze, her pride instantly deflated like a balloon, and her ears instantly turned red.
"Uh… Yeah."
Embarrassed Veena was also cute.
I wish she’d be this honest more often. However, I understood that achieving this would require some time.
I had already absorbed a lot of her Chaos energy, which had started to restore her to her normal self. However, to completely cure her, I needed to have sex with her.
Of course, my intent was purely professional—use Nancy’s skill [Peach Blossom Love] on Veena during our sex, make a Soul Bound Contract when she’s in a state of hightened affection, and make her completely mine so there would be zero chances of her betraying me.
It wasn’t always about just having fun!
Ahem!
