"Okay. So let me recap." – said Doctor after the "Kid" finished his explanation.

"If I were to make an deal with you, I would gain some form of authority, but to make sure I would "earn" it, I need to show off my achievement and stuff."

"If I were to submit some of my inventions to you instead of the organization, my own power and authority within the kingdom will grow, resulting in me having better stuff like: Income, materials and informations that your scouts and spies are gathering."

(If we also add the location of my choosing and the fact that I'm allowed to do my dungeon experiment in peace….. His offer is extremely good.)

(There are obviously some hooks here and there, but both he and me know it.)

(Honestly, he is giving me way more than enough…. I guess he wants to put an price tag on me or something if you want to think about it….. Still…..Hm…..)

(I can't exactly go looking around between the others members of the organization, since there are few good reason, such as "exposure" and getting unwanted attention…. Nope.)

(Hm…. Its better if I don't push my luck here and ask for more, since this guy may also end up twisting the deal more on his end, making things way more annoying and complicated.)

"Glad to hear it." – said "Kid".

"What about you?" – said "Kid" while looking at the Hunter.

"Me?" – said Hunter.

"Yeb." – said "Kid".

"Em…. Well, if that guy is working for you, then I guess I will also join you." – said Hunter.

"Glad to hear it, Phantasia, Thanatos." – said the black haired woman.

"Eh? She knows who we are? Then why are we wearing mask?" – asked Doctor.

"….Ah." – said black haired woman before then covering herself in the living shadow and transforming into men in black suit as well as an black mask that covered the man entire head.

"?!"

"Shadow Mask?!" – said surprised Hunter and Doctor.

"Wait, I though you were men?!" – said Hunter.

"Well, that is just my disuse. Its pretty good, right?" – said Shadow Mask as she transformed back to her normal female appearance.

"Yea…." – said Doctor while opening up his mask, revealing his head, before then Thanatos took off her mask as well.

(So, the Shadow Mask was working for the "Kid" the entire time?) – though Phantasia.

(If so…. Hm….." Kid" that bastard. I guess he was planning on brining me to his side from the very start, even before we met up?)

(The "plague" ability. The first ability I had used and showed off to the world.)

(True. I also had the ability to create chimeras and the body modifications, but if I were to say something more specific then it would be definitely the plague, since…. Oh, I get it.)

(The monster berserker plague. Did that bastard wanted to see what I can make…. But if that is the case…)

"You fuking bastard. Why do you want my ability to make plagues?" – asked Phantasia.

"Eh? Plague?" – asked confused Thanatos.

"Yeb. You originally wanted to bring me in for my ability to create plagues. What do you need it for?" – asked Phantasia.

"…." – neither "Kid" or Shadow Mask gave any sort reply.

*Sigh*

"Okay. Fuck it. I won't be asking about it, since I'm fucked up bastard anyway." – said Phantasia.

"But quick question. Didn't the organization prohibited me from using my plague without permission?"

"Or was it your doing?"

"Nope. The organization itself had prohibited you from using the plague." – said "Kid".

"Since we want to destroy but also recruit the people to the organization, we cannot exactly go around and committing mass genocide on the entire kingdom, unless the entire kingdom and all of their people are rotted to the core, meaning that there would be no saving them."

"So no. You cannot use the plagues without permission."

(Hm…Then this is indeed annoying…. The last time I used the plague creation was when making that monster berserk plague…. So, like what? Would I even have any chance to use the plague…..)

"Wait. Doesn't…. Doesn't that mean if I'm with you, wouldn't the "enemies" of yours band together and destroy you, before you would have an chance to use the plague? I mean after the whole invading gods are defeated and stuff." – said Phantasia.

"Probably. I mean, some of them are maybe already looking for you in order to recruit you to their side." – said "Kid".

"Recruit or destroy. As I said before."

"Wait…. Wait, wait, wait. That doesn't that mean that we just straight up put an giant target on our backs and stuff?" – asked Phantasia.

"…. Well, in the nutshell, yes." – replied "Kid".

"…. Okay…. Yea, I better myself some sort of castle dungeon in that case, since there is an chance that somebody may come and try and murder me as soon as the war is over." – said Phantasia.

"Anyway, what kind of location there are I can take to make my base?"

"Well, that is the question. Where do you exactly want to have base? I can secure both underground and above ground locations." – said "Kid".

"When we last talked, you wanted to have locations where you can mess around and stuff. So, like what? You want location above ground?"

"Well… If I'm being honest, if you would want me to do stuff like research, crafting and monster production as well as some other stuff, then I would need to make something like very big base that would keep expanding… But obviously some random shady castle appearing right above ground out of a blue would be suspicious as fuck, right?" – said Phantasia.

"So, I guess the best bet would be some location underground where I can dig and expand my base."

"I can probably dig upwards, creating myself some path to the surface and making some hidden entrance, but the problem would be that this entrance shouldn't be in some populated area above ground or underground, since well… We both know I will be doing shady stuff."

"Hm…. I get what you are talking about….. Welp, I will have my people look around and once they find something, we will contact you. For now, you will have to live in temporarily in the castle guest room. As for your belongings, they will be kept safe and won't be tinkered with, so don't worry about it." – said "Kid' before then taking out small bell and then using it.

Moments later, several bats began gathering outside the room before then two maids manifested from them and knocked on the door, alarming both Phantasia and Hunter who instantly put on their masks.

"Come in." – said "Kid" before pair of maids entered the room.

"These two girls will lead you to your rooms." – said "Kid".

"…Okay. We understand. Girls, lets go." – said Doctor before moments later the group fallowed the two maids and left the room, leaving along Shadow Mask and "Kid".

"…."

"Was that an good idea?" – asked Shadow Mask.

"Hm…. Well, that or either that succubus or those dragons would had gotten their hands on that fucker." – said "Kid".

"Truth to be told, I wasn't planning on recruiting that guy "YET", but that fuking bitch succubus forced me when she exposed his dungeon creating ability."

"Honestly, this guy is somehow keep getting…. Weird but also powerful."

"First plague, then monsters and now dungeons… Honestly speaking, he is an dangerous weapon and not only that but he is also an genius craftsman and researcher."

"I did originally wanted him for his ability to create plagues, but now his value is way higher than it was originally."

"if he decided to not join us…. Well, I would had destroyed him on the spot."

"Do you trust him?" – asked Shadow Mask.

"Nope. This guy is fucked up and he already prove himself to be dangerous." – said "Kid".

"I don't trust him and so does he with me."

"But he also knows that he needs solid allies, since now we have both targets on our backs."

"He will be forced to trust me and work with me. He probably already realized that as well."

"I will use that guy as my own weapon and I will also use his inventions to strengthen my own armies."

"Still, before we can even start preparing to face our "allies", we still need to deal with the gods."

"I also will need to deal with some "rats" that decided to backstab us, since they though that me leaving for the moment was their opportunity to shine."

"By the way, what are their movements?"

"…. The demon lord Oko had started to make some movements, according to our intelligent units, but it doesn't look like he can move freely yet." – said Shadow Mask.

"But at this rate, its just matter of time before he can. Be it month or few."

*Sigh*

"We just gotten back home…. And now we have to deal with another problem, eh?" – said "Kid".

"Did they realized?"

"We don't know. But we will try and figure it out." – said Shadow Mask.

"Don't look too hard or you may end up exposing yourself." – said "Kid".

(Welp…. First gods of the heavens and now gods of the hell…. Things are slowly but surely speeding up.) – though "Kid".

(Its way faster than we had predicted…. At this rate its just matter of time before this entire world will be engulfed in chaos…. We need to prepare ourselves or we may end up getting wiped out.)
