Zumala threw away his hand cannon and raised the War Axe again; he was ready to deliver a fatal blow to Egil.

Just at that moment, red flames ignited in the dust, white smoke emanated from several places on Egil's body, bleeding, yet the Champion of Khorne was unfazed by these wounds. He unleashed the flames of Khorne's Blessing, which directly breached Zumala's defenses and blinded the Chaos Dwarf. Egil seized the opportunity and instantly appeared before Zumala, War Axe raised high, blood-red power erupting from his body.

"Slay!"

A scarlet arc flashed, and all was silent.

The duel of champions ended as Egil withdrew his War Axe from the split skull of the Chaos Dwarf Lord, Zumala. His wounds healed rapidly under Khorne's Blessing. The King of Skalings roared, "Who else dares to challenge me now?"

Many Barbarian onlookers were present, but none responded, silence was their only answer.

Egil's glowing red eyes scanned everyone, his gaze intensified.

He had found a way to rescue his son.

For the next two days, the Barbarian continued their fierce assault on Leonais Castle, while the numerous Knights within the castle fiercely resisted. Every section of the walls became a battleground between the two sides. The Barbarians had only makeshift siege hammers and ladders, besides the last two Chaos Mammoth War Elephants, which had been injured in the Nanzi great battle and barely healed with potions from the Chaos Mage Chakoy.

Wave after wave of Barbarian Warriors surged onto the castle's high walls like tides, only to be quickly repelled. Naturally, those defending the walls were the remaining elite of the Brittania, yet the more than twenty-thousand Barbarians were also battle-hardened veterans. These Warriors, clad in black heavy armor yet moving with ease, charged the castle walls wave after wave, giving the Brittania people no chance to rest.

This reckless offensive tactic caused pain not only to the Knights but also to the Barbarians, yet Egil's orders were absolute. The Barbarian relentlessly launched themselves at Leonais's defenses with their blood and flesh.

At noon on the third day, Egil secretly led two Chaos Champions, Cowende and Hardorn, along with the Crimson Guard, into the waters near the castle. The sea battered the towering walls and steep cliffs. Compared to the bloody battlefield afar, this inconspicuous corner was relatively quieter because the tens-of-meters high walls atop several-meter-high cliffs clearly weren't seen by the Barbarian as their main attack point.

But Egil was about to prove today that the foolish Brittania people would completely crumble under his might.

The Crimson Guard followed Egil into the water, the sea being seven to eight meters deep at its deepest and five to six meters at its shallowest, posed no obstacle to these Chaos Chosen Warriors affected by mutation.

Following a foul stench, the Champion of Khorne found an underwater rock cave. Inside the cave, it was filled with human waste and sewage.

Leonais Castle discharged its waste into the sea through here.

This castle had not experienced wars for five hundred years, Duke Dalheid was gravely injured, and Jules was not familiar with the defenses of Leonais Castle. Egil had no intention of giving the Holy Grail Knight Commander more time to understand the castle's defenses.

With two swings of his axe, Egil cut open the iron gate sealing the sewer entrance. The great Champion of Khorne took the lead, he was the first to rush down the sewer, and faced all the nauseating dirt water, food residues, and human excrement without hesitation.

Led by Egil, three hundred Crimson Guards followed him into the sewer.

Inside the city, the Knights continued to resist the Barbarian Army's assault. The battlements were filled with fierce battles, the Knights guarding the north gate were blocking the gate. From the other side of the gate came trembling thuds, the sound of siege hammers crashing against the gate.

The Knights were demoralized, they vaguely remembered their defeat on the Nanzi Plain a few days ago. Now, the roars and war drums of the Skalings continued outside the city.

Though the Knights could still hold on, the peasants were already terrified. No matter how the Knights overseeing them suppressed them, they couldn't fight anymore. Many peasants fled in all directions, privately conspiring that perhaps if the city fell, they would just serve a different lord. We certainly don't want to risk our lives like this.

And just as the defenders' morale sank to its lowest, Egil and his Chaos Chosen Warriors emerged from the cesspit, delivering a lethal blow to the defenders of Leonais. Egil immediately led these elites toward the castle gate, slaughtering all who resisted them. A fierce duel took place with a Holy Grail Knight guarding the north gate. However, the Champion of Khorne seemed like an incarnation of the Blood God walking the earth, he easily slew the Holy Grail Knight and then cleaved the castle gate with a single axe.

Shouting Glory to Khorne, the Chaos Warriors swarmed the city. Each Chaos Warrior, shrouded in malicious armor, declared their brutal devotion with trophies of bloody fresh skulls. Egil and his Barbarian Army contemptuously slaughtered all who opposed them. Armor and flesh turned to dust, massive battle axes in hand gleamed with flames, as if delighted to drink blood with their master. Egil became a whirlwind of death, Tornado Slashing along the streets, leaving wailing and screams below his axes. Every unfortunate enemy was dismembered, their limbs and heads flying. He slaughtered every life, roaring, howling, and laughing while singing Norsca war songs, reveling in the dying screams, listening to the pleasing sound of necks snapping, skulls cracking, and blood spraying as axes sliced through flesh.

It wasn't until Holy Grail Knight Commander Jules stepped forward, relying on his exceptional combat skills to withstand Egil's fierce attacks, that someone was able to stand against him. However, though Jules could hold off Egil, the fall of the entire castle was an undeniable fact.

The Knights of Brittania were defeated, forced to retreat to the castle's Inner Castle.

Tens of thousands of Brittania people were about to face massacre, yet Egil signaled all the Barbarian to halt. Many Barbarians were confused, but the king's orders were absolute, so they stopped their actions. The Brittania did not understand why the Barbarians did this but hastened their attempts to flee, with many peasants, Free People, and nobles madly rushing into the Inner Castle, before the drawbridge and iron gate closed completely before Egil.

Egil disdainfully watched the Southern People fleeing and just stood quietly, then signaled the Chaos Mage Chakoy to translate for him. Chakoy began to shout towards the Inner Castle.

"I am Egil Steelbjorn, the supreme king of Skalings, Soul Slayer, and Norsca Butcher, helpless Brittania, heed my words!"

The Knights on the Inner Castle walls looked at the blood-red tall figure below the battlements with a visceral fear, Holy Grail Knight Commander Jules frowned deeply.

Has the reinforcements from Count Laine not arrived?

"My axe blades have drunk the blood and marrow of at least ten thousand people. I have traversed alone through the lands of the great northern Deities. I once entered the deep seas to kill a giant sea serpent alone, taking two days to drag its body ashore. I once strangled a frost Giant Demon with my bare hands, hunted a giant Chaos Giant in the Ice and Snow Realm, and during a Thunderclap I used my strength to slay a Doomsday Dragon Demon atop Norsca's highest mountain and ripped its heart from its chest."

"I am Egil Steelbjorn, the Great Champion of Khorne!"

Egil, filled with glory and power, raised his axe pointing directly at Jules standing on the walls.

"In my centuries of life, I have never given my enemies a chance, but I know that my ancestor, Svengar of the Skalings, was once defeated in Brittania by a powerful Holy Grail Knight, Marcus. I never considered it a disgrace, so now I offer Brittania a challenge, a chance to salvage your defeat!"

"Send out your mightiest Warrior! We will duel here, and if I win, you shall return my wife and son! I know she is with you. If I lose, my army and I will grant you mercy, I will take my own life, and my army will leave your land and Kingdom and never return! I swear by the name of Khorne!"

"I demand a champion duel with your champion!!!"
