Warm Married Life: Mr. President Loves His Darling Wife-Chapter 161 - 160: Is She Calling Me Stupid?
Bella was taken aback by the words, "So quickly?"
Farah Garner played a maid who was a die-hard follower of Hera, following her even into the palace, and later dying to save her.
According to the novel, the role wasn’t small, yet Farah hadn’t filmed much before it was wrapped up?
A newcomer actor beside them murmured, "Because Director Ford thought Farah’s acting was too superficial, and... and she didn’t really follow instructions on set, so her scenes were cut."
"Exactly, she brought it on herself, always opposing Sister Acker."
Bella frowned, "The decision to cut Farah’s scenes was the director’s. What’s it got to do with me? What are you implying?"
The two newcomers were stunned, and their faces immediately turned somewhat apprehensive.
"S-Sister Acker, sorry, we were talking nonsense, please don’t be angry."
"Yes, Sister Acker, we spoke out of turn, please don’t be mad at us."
"You say you spoke without thinking, but if someone else heard those words, what would they think?" Bella deliberately put on a cold face.
Of course, they’d think Bella had used some trick to have the director cut Farah’s scenes and get her out of the crew.
Some might even suspect that Bella and Director Ford had some unspeakable secrets.
First, there was President Lloyd of Aurelian Media inexplicably showering Bella with attention on set, and now if it were revealed that the director cut other people’s scenes for her sake, she couldn’t imagine what rumors would spread about her being manipulative.
This was the first time Bella had put on such a stern face and spoke so harshly, and the two newcomers were a little frightened and didn’t dare speak again.
The makeup artist chuckled softly to the side. Those two newcomer actors seemed to be speaking casually, but their eyes were full of calculation and jealousy. She originally thought Bella hadn’t noticed and intended to remind her as a favor, but Bella handled it very well on her own.
It seems Bella isn’t as naïve as she appears.
"Sister?" Bella tilted her head in confusion toward her.
The makeup artist picked up a brush and started applying blush, "I just think our Bella is really something."
Hearing this, Bella blushed a little, feeling embarrassed. Seeing the two newcomers didn’t dare come near her again, she whispered, "This is the first time I’ve been stern with anyone, I was really nervous inside."
"You did great; those two were scheming against you from the start."
"Huh?" Bella was stunned, looking perplexed.
The makeup artist was also taken aback, "Didn’t you notice?"
"No." Bella shook her head, "I just thought what they said was a bit unpleasant to hear, kind of... kind of too pretentious. I... I’m not that formidable." By the end, she was so embarrassed she blushed again.
Director Ford is so strict; if he would listen to her and cut out other people’s scenes, how much sway would she have?
The makeup artist couldn’t help rolling her eyes a little, covering her forehead, kind of speechless. It seemed like Bella’s focus was always different from theirs. Is this what people online call someone who looks innocent, but is thought to be manipulative, yet is actually adorably naive?
"Sister, what’s wrong?" Bella asked, tilting her head in confusion as the makeup artist stared at her silently.
"It’s nothing." The makeup artist smiled, "Just marveling at how amazing the goddess Nüwa is, capable of creating people with all sorts of personalities."
Bella blinked, "Sister, I feel like you’re implying something." Was she saying Bella was dumb?
