Warm Married Life: Mr. President Loves His Darling Wife-Chapter 163 - 162: Treating to a Meal
Sharon sighed, "Oh, you."
She actually didn’t want Bella to see the harsh realities of the entertainment industry so soon, yet if Bella keeps her kindness and innocence intact, she might eventually be trampled underfoot in this circle.
Sharon just hopes that no matter whether Bella can go far in this circle, she can maintain her original heart.
Seeing Ms. Cheney’s concern, Bella Acker affectionately hooked her arm, "Ms. Cheney, I can’t promise about other things, but there’s one thing I can assure you. As long as others don’t bully me, I won’t bully others."
"Hmm." Sharon patted her arm solemnly and said, "There are too many temptations and traps in this circle. Some people may act like good sisters in front of you, but could turn around and make trouble. You must be careful."
Her words now are clearly implying Vivian Norris.
"With you protecting me, Ms. Cheney, I’m not afraid." Bella chuckled, "Director Ford called me to come over for work, you told him, right?"
Sharon nodded, "I was worried you’d be at a disadvantage in front of her, but now that I know you understand, I feel relieved. Get to work; you have a lot of scenes to film today."
"Okay, okay, then I’m off." Bella stood up, turned back, and waved cheerfully at Vivian Norris who was watching. Only then did she start heading over to begin filming.
Vivian Norris narrowed her eyes, a flash of disdain quickly passing through her gaze. Bella Acker, let’s see how long you can stay complacent.
Having taken two days off, Bella Acker was pushed to catch up with work by Director Ford today, filming all the way until dark.
Hera, dressed in a pink long dress, stood behind the peach blossom tree branch, holding some peach blossoms in one hand and pressing down the peach branch with the other, tilting her head to look at the empty space ahead, innocently asking with a smile, "Who are you, why are you here?"
The empty space ahead was supposed to have the male lead played by Archer Quinn, but since Archer hadn’t joined the crew yet, this frontal close-up would only be added in post-production.
"CUT! This take is good!" Director Ford, looking at the monitor showing the spirited and innocent girl smiling like a flower, nodded in satisfaction and finally picked up the electronic megaphone, indicating that the scene was approved.
The crew all sighed in relief, pausing their work to take a short break.
The makeup artist immediately stepped forward to touch up Bella Acker’s makeup.
Director Ford flipped through the script on the table and said, "Scene seventy-eight, first shot, first take, get ready. Once this scene is done, everyone can rest for an hour, let’s push through!"
Bella Acker felt uneasy seeing the crew working overtime because of her, "Sorry for making everyone work overtime with me, thank you for your hard work."
Working overtime like this, everyone indeed felt exhausted. However, since Bella had already expressed her sentiments, they certainly couldn’t complain anymore.
One of the sound technicians joked, "Bella, we all know Director Ford is a devil when shooting; you don’t need to take the blame for him."
The nearby staff heard the teasing about Director Ford and laughed as well.
Bella laughed too and darted back to the resting area while the crew set up the scene.
"Bella, the next scene will be shot soon, did you come over for something?" Sharon asked.
"Yeah." Bella nodded, taking out money from a coat beside her to hand it to the assistant, Shaw, "Ms. Miller, could you please help me buy some hot drinks and snacks?"
The assistant, Shaw, has always been beside Elaine Vaughn, taking care of her daily affairs during filming, so she naturally understands that Bella’s gesture is to express appreciation to the crew. She immediately took the money, "Alright, I’ll go now."
