Warm Married Life: Mr. President Loves His Darling Wife-Chapter 242 - 241: Reluctant to Part
"Ah! My money!" Bella Acker reached out to grab the money as soon as she saw it.
Right now, she’s broke and still owes Shannon a lot of money!
Three hundred bucks is already a huge amount for her, so of course she wants it back!
Damian Sinclair looked at her, "Now you remember?"
"I remember! I remember!" Bella Acker quickly nodded. 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮
"So by giving me three hundred bucks as a service fee, what did you take me for?"
"For a gigolo..." Bella Acker almost blurted out but luckily held back just in time, awkwardly turning the words around, "What? Of course, nothing like that!"
Damian Sinclair held the three hundred bucks expressionlessly, looking at her, just curious how she’d cover it up.
Bella Acker’s eyes darted around, and she said, "After I went back, I was still wondering how I lost three hundred bucks, felt heartbroken for ages, turns out you dropped it in your place. Damian, thank you for picking it up and returning it to me."
"So it just fell on my hotel nightstand?"
"Of course, otherwise what did you think?" Bella Acker gave him a look as if he was imagining things, "Damian, you weren’t really thinking I’d pay you a service fee, were you? How could that be? You’re my boyfriend!"
"Acker the Puppy, how do you lie so blatantly without blushing?" Damian Sinclair was speechless, "Want to get this three hundred bucks back?"
"Mm-hmm." Bella Acker nodded repeatedly.
"I remember someone once said that going back on their word makes them a puppy?" Damian Sinclair looked at her.
Bella Acker didn’t hesitate, "Woof woof..."
This heartless little woman, when she acts shamelessly, really takes the cake.
Damian Sinclair suddenly laughed and handed her the three hundred bucks with a warning: "If this happens again, expect a spanking."
"Hehe, it won’t, it won’t." Bella Acker put away the money, grinning sycophantically.
The car was still filled with the scent left earlier as Damian Sinclair rolled down the window for some air and asked, "How much longer do you have left to film?"
"Hmm, probably another twenty days," Bella Acker looked at him, "Why?"
"Weren’t you planning to go to university?" Damian Sinclair said, "You can start preparing after this job ends."
"Damian, I don’t want to go to a regular university anymore, I want to apply to a film academy to study acting," Bella Acker said, "I’ve already done a little research, and the application is on February 6th, so over two months left, should be enough time for me to prepare."
"It’s up to you." Damian Sinclair nodded, "When will you return to Creston?"
"Huh? I don’t know, definitely after finishing filming." Bella Acker giggled, deliberately avoiding giving the answer he wanted.
"Hmm?" Damian Sinclair squinted slightly, drawing out his tone.
"Hmm what?" Bella Acker blinked innocently, pushing him, "Damian, start the car. Let’s head down the hill and get something to eat, I’m starving."
Damian Sinclair looked at his wristwatch, it was almost eleven o’clock.
Bella Acker blinked, looking at him pitifully. She might as well have had "Feed me" written on her forehead.
Damian Sinclair sighed, "There’s water in the back, come sit in the front."
"Okay!" Bella Acker responded cheerfully.
The two of them swapped seats to the front, and Damian Sinclair drove off.
They first found a place to have lunch before continuing to the filming base.
