When the plot-skips players into the game world-Chapter 1266 - 542 Sin Card: Holy Blood Angel
Chapter 1266: Chapter 542 Sin Card: Holy Blood Angel
Leaving Spirit Summoning Tower, Aiwass felt a heaviness in his heart.
He didn’t understand why Adolf, not particularly close to him, would make such a sacrifice for him...
Aiwass could only hold tightly onto the memory of his self-sacrifice.
—If ever one day he used Adolf’s blood and sweat, he only hoped he wouldn’t squander his sacrifice.
Afterwards, Aiwass returned to Avalon to prepare for another matter.
On May 9th—almost unbeknownst to anyone else, Aiwass went alone to Star Antimony, returning to the place where he fought the Fallen Celestial Marshal.
Now that the Fallen Celestial Marshal was dead, and the second Celestial Marshal had yet to be summoned by the Tail-Biting Ring Ceremony... this was a rare period of peace and leisure.
This day was intentionally chosen by Aiwass.
—The sum of five and nine equals "14." And "the 14th" marked the beginning of Aiwass truly acquiring the identity of "Aleister," and the source of Aleister’s appearance and body.
A week had passed, and the place was far busier than Aiwass had imagined.
There were tourists, worshippers bowing their heads, painters, photographers, and even those secretly digging for obsidian. Aiwass even saw people from the cult that worshipped him preaching among the crowd—the preacher harshly criticized those digging for obsidian, attempting to destroy the "Miracle Land," and someone was being interviewed.
In contrast to the now rather quiet streets of Star Antimony, this place was surprisingly crowded. So much so that Aiwass invoked the characteristics of "Illusory Blood" to transform into the appearance of Beyard, carrying many things on his back to avoid being surrounded by fervent crowds.
Aiwass stood here observing for a while, sighed with sentiment... and returned to the ruins of Crescent Moon Manor.
Fortunately, the aftermath of the battle between Aiwass and the Fallen Celestial Marshal hadn’t fully destroyed this place.
The once splendid and extravagant manor had now fallen to resemble a haunted house, with about half shattered... Aiwass maneuvered around the bricks and thick dust on the ground, based on his memory, returning to "Room 14."
The items in that room had long been moved away. There was no bed, no cabinet, even the glass and window frame were gone, looking barely better than a rough room.
Aiwass stood in the room, somewhat nostalgically looking outside. The deep mountains and dense forests from memory had been damaged from the battle. Only sparse trees and large areas of charcoal and torn earth were visible.
He began by praying, requesting the Candle Master’s angel envoy to help clean the room—this room covered in dust was cleansed by a divine whirlwind and sanctified in the process.
And at this time, Aiwass untied the travel bag on his back, took out the materials he brought, and sorted them purposefully.
First, a bottle of golden liquid soul—Isabel’s bottle. Newly separated wouldn’t do, only here contained the part of "Original Aleister’s" old soul.
However, Aiwass had supplemented Isabel with a new bottle. Having just been resurrected, his soul was complete, and now as the Son of Si Zhu, the quality of his soul greatly improved... it could be considered an "upgrade of consumables" for Isabel.
Secondly, was the "Sister Sasha Set" Aiwass had taken off. He had already prayed to the Fog Sky Department and received approval.
Next were fourteen whole bottles of blood—adding up to nearly all the blood in a human adult.
Aiwass hadn’t scooped up blood from the blood pool in the Daffodil Territory where the Tainted Blood Angel was kept.
Because Aiwass was somewhat of a clean freak, he considered the blood there unclean. So the blood here was mostly provided by Aiwass—he supplied twelve bottles, Isabel contributed one for company, and the last one was provided by Selene the Moon Witch. Her blood had a strong Power of Creation, serving excellently as ritual material.
Then there were two Tarot Cards.
—Priestess.
—World.
The former represents intuition, sensitivity, insight, inner guidance. It symbolizes "moon, femininity, and self."
The latter is the last card in the Tarot deck, heralding eternal achievement and continuous success. It is also the "ring."
Aiwass had made up his mind—any attribute would do, whether water or earth was fine, as long as Aleister took precedence. If water, he would seek another earth-element Great Sin Beast; if earth, he would attempt to make Leviathan a Great Sin Beast... if not, so be it.
And finally, the most prized, unique "single material." frёewebnoѵel.ƈo๓
—Aiwass’s complete corpse.
Aiwass pulled out his corpse wrapped in a body bag with his arms hugging his knees, and layer upon layer wrapped with bandages. The corpse and blood had been treated with Preservation Arts, allowing them to last without decay.
He dressed his corpse completely in Sister Sasha’s set, pried open the eyelids with his hand, and inserted a glass rod between the eyeball and nasal bridge, cautiously pouring the liquid soul into it.
Observing this, the dried and lifeless pupil began to animate.
Aiwass then unscrewed the caps of the fourteen bottles of blood, chanting softly:
"I implore Eternal Self, the God of Holy Number One, the God of Death and Rebirth, the God of Enduring Obscurity!
"I respectfully invite Banquet Celestial, the Eternal Banquet Celestial, the Celestial of Wild Drinking and Gluttony!"
