When the Wind is Sweet: The Fairy Tale of Mr. and Mrs. Lancaster-Chapter 1026: When Will the Wedding Be Held?
"Is this Young Master Xavier?" Old Master Lancaster was immediately drawn to him; he had a tall stature, graceful demeanor, truly an impressive individual.
Nathan Xavier had a smile in his eyes. The feeling he gave off could always make others feel like a spring breeze.
Simon Xavier looked at his son with a sense of pride and satisfaction. He introduced with a smile, "This is my son, Nathan Xavier. He’s currently in charge of the Xavier Group."
"It’s an honor, just as outstanding a young man as our Adrian! I’ve watched his financial interviews, a seasoned businessman with particularly clear thinking."
This was praise from the heart.
Everyone exchanged simple pleasantries upon meeting at the parking lot.
Teacher Gable, holding the newly awakened Joy, stepped out of the car. The little one looked around as if seeing something new, becoming instantly lively.
After a day’s separation, she was back at grandmother’s house!
Milo Turner stood beside his mother in new clothes, smiling, and looked around; the Xavier Estate was truly grand! Even the air seemed to have the scent of nobility.
Eliza Hayes, from the moment she got out of the car, had her eyes fixed on her daughter-in-law with emotions that were stirred and complex. This was her second meeting since Faye’s accident, with a completely different mindset.
She controlled her emotions, trying her best not to break down and cry. During this time, she thought a lot about her daughter-in-law, praying and chanting scriptures for her.
Eliza Hayes took a few steps forward and directly hugged her, "Faye! You’re safe at last! My good child."
Faye guessed she was her mother-in-law, "Mom," she tried softly calling out and extended her hand to embrace in return.
"Oh!" Eliza Hayes was very happy, patting her on the back.
Old Master Lancaster handed his cane to someone beside him and came to his precious granddaughter-in-law.
After Eliza Hayes released Faye, Grandpa Lancaster extended his hands, trembling with excitement, and embraced her with immense joy.
"Faye... good child, you truly are a blessed one!" Old Master Lancaster was tearful, deeply thankful to the heavens, "The heavens have opened their eyes! We meet again!"
"Grandpa..." The girl was deeply touched, feeling the Lancaster Family’s full attention and love.
Meanwhile, Adrian Lancaster’s men had already unloaded all the precious gifts from the car.
The Xavier Family were also very courteous, "Why did you bring gifts?"
"It’s necessary, a meeting gift, a small gesture. I hope you like them."
After the embrace with Grandpa, Caleb Lancaster walked toward her, full of loving care, "I’m Adrian’s father. Faye, how are you?"
"Hmm." The girl nodded with a smile, feeling deeply moved, "I’m doing well, Dad."
Caleb Lancaster felt very gratified.
Faye then turned her gaze to Teacher Gable, who was not far away holding the child, "Mom." She walked toward her and gave the child a hug.
Teacher Gable looked at her with a smile.
"Sis." Milo Turner joyfully called out. When Faye looked at him, he said to her, "You’re even prettier than before!"
"Milo, isn’t it?" Faye reached out with a smile, "Sorry, I temporarily don’t remember you, but I’ll remember you today. You’re very handsome! Your fashion sense is great too."
He happily shook hands with his sister, "It’s alright if you don’t remember, as long as we remember you!"
Adrian Lancaster greeted the Xavier Family members one by one, his words were sweet. After pleasantries, everyone took steps toward the courtyard, heading towards the main hall.
With Adrian Lancaster’s introduction, Faye got to know her father-in-law, mother-in-law, and grandpa again. They were all very kind-hearted people.
Nathan Xavier asked, "When do you plan to hold the wedding ceremony? It seems like it hasn’t been held before, right?"
"That’s right," Adrian Lancaster quickly explained to the brother-in-law, "Previously, we thought to first find Faye’s biological parents, then hold the wedding. This way, there would be the presence and blessing of the family, making it more complete."
Afraid that the other party might not believe him, he further emphasized, "I truly meant it, definitely not to save money, nor because of a bad relationship with my wife!"
The word ’saving money’ from President Lancaster’s mouth made everyone unable to hold back their laughter.
