When Will My Childhood Sweetheart Marry Me?-Chapter 20 - 0: Bad Element
Study time at Yunzhong High started at 7:20 AM. Other classes were seated in their classrooms early; at the very least, they’d walk in right on time.
But Class 2 was the exception. The school bell seemed to mean nothing to them. Textbooks could be used as balls to kick around, and test papers flew everywhere in the classroom. Discipline? What was that to them?
It was crap.
When Pei Yan strode into the classroom, the third period of the morning was already half over.
The youth, with his bag slung over one shoulder and hands in his pockets, strolled in without announcing his arrival, as if he was walking into an empty space.
The teacher on the podium was just about to scold him, but upon seeing who it was, he swallowed his words back down.
Forget it.
This kind of delinquent, there’s no use in disciplining him. As long as he doesn’t cause trouble in class, anything goes.
No sooner had Pei Yan taken his seat than Chen Jin next to him immediately leaned over and asked with a sly expression, "Brother Yan, did you score with Little Fairy last night? I saw you following her onto the bus."
Following...
Pei Yan leaned back lazily in his chair and gave him a sidelong glance. "Aren’t you a product of the nine-year compulsory education? Can’t you be a bit more cultured?"
"..."
Did he hear that right? Brother Yan, who typically scores in the teens on Chinese exams, was actually sitting here talking to him about culture?
Ha ha damn.
Chen Jin couldn’t take it anymore, this was too damn funny.
Chen Jin was laughing so hard he was practically tumbling out of his seat when Xu Kanfeng behind him kicked him, "Keep it down, dumbass, I’m trying to listen."
Oh, he forgot about that.
Kanzi here was someone destined to take over the throne, forced by his family to study hard. If he didn’t get into college, he’d have to forfeit his entire inheritance to his illegitimate younger brother.
It was hard to imagine that among a bunch of heirs, there would be an oddity like Xu Kanfeng who, despite appearing lackadaisical, consistently topped the class rankings.
It was just a pity that his highest score was only 401. How far was that from the college entry score again?
Pfft...
This was absolutely ridiculous, Chen Jin felt like someone had hit his funny bone, he just couldn’t stop laughing.
Before long, the already noisy classroom discipline became even more unmanageable under his influence.
The teacher, fuming, threw a piece of chalk onto the desk. "Chen Jin, if you’re not going to learn, get out!"
Quiet returned to the classroom in an instant.
Then Chen Jin slowly stood up from his seat, clicked his tongue, and said with an insouciant smile, "Sure, teacher. You said it."
Sitting there was pointless anyway; he might as well go to an internet café and play games.
Under the teacher’s angry glare, Chen Jin walked out of the classroom spiritedly, but after waiting outside for quite a while, none of his buddies followed.
What’s going on? Have they all suddenly fallen in love with studying?
Chen Jin, unable to figure it out, was about to head to the equipment room when he caught sight of a group of students on the sports field from the corner of his eye.
It was some class having a PE lesson, and he saw Principal Lu’s son leading the run.
That Lu kid, wasn’t he from Class 6?
Chen Jin stroked his chin, a light bulb going off in his head.
Meanwhile, at the back of the classroom, three WeChat notification tones sounded. He Qingzhou opened his phone, saw the message, and then smiled.
Seeing that the class leader in the front row was sleeping on his desk with no reaction, He Qingzhou wondered if he should wake him up when the bell for class dismissal rang.
He couldn’t wait to cough and say, "Brother Yan, check your phone."
Xu Kanfeng next to him was a bit confused. "It’s just Class 6 having PE, what’s Chen Jin making such a fuss about?"
As the words fell, the person lying on the desk slowly sat up.
Ding dong.
Another photo was sent in the WeChat group. Xu Kanfeng’s eyes almost popped out as he stared at the screen.
"Brother Yan, this this this..."
Pei Yan glanced at the phone indifferently, stood up, grabbed his jacket, and left the classroom.
Behind him, He Qingzhou tilted his chin up and asked, "Basketball court, you going?"
Of course, he had to go.
To back up the boss, even if it meant breaking his legs, he’d be there!
