Who Let Him Cultivate?! (WX)-Chapter 902: Nameless Sword Cultivators
“Senior Brother Lu Yang, several of my senior brothers and sisters have long wanted to meet you. Would it be convenient for you?”
“Sure, let’s go meet them then.” Lu Yang smiled, sheathing the Qingfeng Sword and casually hanging it at his waist.
Previously, Lu Yang had tried not to reveal the Qingfeng Sword. As it was an immortal blade refined by Wu Yao, he was worried it would be recognized by Great Yu cultivators, thereby inviting trouble.
For instance, the Myriad Spells Daoist Lord attacked the Dao-Seeking Sect after recognizing the Qingfeng Sword and deducing that the sect possessed the immortal treasure left behind by Wu Yao.
Now, Lu Yang had no such concerns. Everyone who knew the Qingfeng Sword’s origin was imprisoned at Incarceration Peak; no one in the outside world could recognize it.
Yun Mengmeng gazed at the Qingfeng Sword, a thoughtful expression on her visage.
“Miss Yun, what are you thinking?” Lu Yang noticed her reaction.
“Do you remember that sister I mentioned earlier?”
“The one incredibly formidable at fighting?”
“Yes. She actually likes swords quite a bit. She secretly practiced for a while and studied plenty of theory. However, she never achieved much, not even grasping the fundamentals. Eventually, she gave up.”
Lu Yang chuckled. “That’s just how the Sword Dao is. Effort alone doesn’t guarantee success; talent and comprehension are both integral. It suggests that your sister’s sword talent is pretty average.
“That said, since she’s interested in Sword Dao, I could offer some guidance. I’m not trying to boast, but I have some talent in Sword Dao. Among the younger generation of the cultivation world, few surpass me.”
Hearing this, Mingtai smiled too. “Senior Brother Lu Yang is being modest. Among the younger generation, I doubt anyone’s talent in Sword Dao exceeds yours.
“Perhaps that Young Creed Leader Lu comes close, but he’s from the ancient era; strictly speaking, he’s not from our generation.”
“That’s wonderful then.” Yun Mengmeng was happy for her good friend. According to her, she also belongs to the younger generation, so her talent definitely falls short of Lu Yang’s. This is a perfect chance for Lu Yang to teach her.
Little Zhi always brings gifts home; this time, I’m reciprocating by finding her a shifu.

The Sword Tower had eighteen floors altogether. The first eight were open to visitors; sword cultivators attending the Sword-Seeking Grand Ceremony could choose rooms here to stay for a few days, with cultivation resources provided by the Sword Tower.
Floors nine to twelve were for inner and true lineage disciples. As the Sword Tower’s core area, they were not easily accessible to outsiders.
Mingtai brought Lu Yang and Yun Mengmeng to the twelfth floor.
“Who are those two? Why can they go up?”
Sword cultivators exchanging insights on the eighth floor were astonished. From Mingtai’s clothing, he was clearly an inner disciple, but Lu Yang and Yun Mengmeng were obviously outsiders.
“Why does one of them look like Lu Yang?”
“He’s Lu Yang? Right, I’ve seen his portrait—that is Lu Yang!”
“I heard that when he was at the East Sea, he had already comprehended Sword Dao to the point where all things could become a sword. He even used people as swords to execute One Sword Into Ten Thousand Swords!”
“He was only at the Nascent Soul Stage then, wasn’t he? To perform One Sword Into Ten Thousand Swords at that level is truly terrifying.”
Those eligible to attend the Sword-Seeking Grand Ceremony were all prodigies of their respective regions and unmatched in Sword Dao, inevitably carrying some pride. Yet compared to Lu Yang, they were like novices showing off before a master, unable to muster even the will to compete with him.
A nameless sword cultivator sitting in a corner curled his lips into an enigmatic smile. “Lu Yang, eh? I wonder if he’s worthy to test my sword.”
In another corner, another nameless cultivator’s eyes were fixed on Lu Yang until the latter vanished up the stairs. “Looks like he’s nothing special.”
The former nameless cultivator took offense. “Hey, watch your words. Lu Yang is the opponent I’ve chosen. Are you saying my test subject is mediocre?”
The latter nameless sword cultivator sneered coldly. “And what if I am?!”
The two nameless sword cultivators glared fiercely at each other, their right hands silently gripping their sword hilts, poised to draw their swords at any moment.
Just then, an outer Sword Tower disciple led an elder to the eighth floor, pointing at the two nameless cultivators in the corner. “Elder, it’s these two. When registering at the entrance, they refused to give their names and sneaked into our Sword Tower!”
The elder looked down at them imperiously. “So you two entered without registering. Shall I escort you out, or will you leave on your own?”
One nameless cultivator smirked disdainfully at the elder. “Chase me out? Is this the Sword Tower’s hospitality? Do you know who I am...”
Without another word, the elder opened a window and tossed them both out.
“Lunatics. You wouldn’t give your names during registration, and now you want to? Too late.”

“Senior Sister Little Mi, Senior Brother Yu...look who I’ve brought.”
Mingtai led Lu Yang and Yun Mengmeng to a stone chamber on the twelfth floor, where six people gathered. Apart from Mingtai, they were the most talented disciples of the Sword Tower.
“Greetings, fellow Daoists. I am Lu Yang.” Lu Yang inverted the Qingfeng Sword and cupped his hands in salute.
“Fellow Daoist Lu Yang, your reputation precedes you.” The six Sword Tower prodigies rose and returned the salute, genuinely elated to meet him.
“This is Miss Yun. She’s traveling with me for now.”
“Greetings, Miss Yun.”
“Hello.” Yun Mengmeng stood quietly to the side. I know little of the outside world; speaking too much may make me a laughingstock.
“Come, come, come, let me introduce them to you, Senior Brother Lu Yang. This is Senior Sister Mi Li[1]—everyone likes to call her Senior Sister Little Mi.”
Lu Yang noticed that Mi Li’s aura fluctuated, rising and falling unstably, indicating she was at the Void Refinement Stage.
“This is Senior Brother Yue Chuan, the Tower Leader’s closed-left-door disciple.”
Yue Chuan resembled a libertine, openly embracing a woman in public without any sense of impropriety.
“This is Senior Brother Li Tang, the Tower Leader’s closed-right-door disciple.”
Li Tang was reticent, cradling a sword, his hair tied in a high ponytail. He merely nodded to Lu Yang without speaking, exuding the aura of a sword cultivator.
Yun Mengmeng couldn’t help but ask, “What are a ‘closed-left-door disciple’ and a ‘closed-right-door disciple?’”
“When the Tower Leader decided to take only one person as his closed-door disciple, both senior brothers were excellent, and it was hard to choose, so he accepted both.
“The Tower Leader said that since closing a gate requires closing two doors, taking in two disciples was perfectly normal.
“Senior Brother Li Tang is shy and unwilling to speak. Please don’t mind, Senior Brother Lu Yang.”
After a round of introductions, Mingtai still hadn’t introduced the woman in Yue Chuan’s arms, which Lu Yang found odd.
“And this is?”
“Oh, I forgot to introduce. This is a sword spirit nurtured by Senior Brother Yue Chuan—truly remarkable. Senior Brother Yue Chuan is strengthening his communion with the sword spirit. He’s the only disciple of our generation with a sword spirit.”
1. “Mili” literally means rice grain. ☜
