Tianhe reacted instantly and crossed his hands to defend. The qi blade struck his guard with a loud explosion but before he could stabilize another blade appeared.

Then another. Three qi blades erupted one after another.

Tianhe blocked the first two successfully, but the third blade cut across his arm.

A thin line of blood appeared. At that exact moment Ciao Xiaoshan appeared above him.

He had already jumped high into the air and his halberd descended like a falling mountain.

Tianhe quickly reinforced the dragon scales on his body with spiritual qi and raised his arms to block.

The halberd struck his defense with tremendous force. The weapon in Xiaoshan’s hand was clearly no ordinary weapon.

The ground beneath Tianhe cracked violently as his feet sank into the arena floor.

Each collision produced shockwaves that spread across the arena. Another hundred rounds passed rapidly.

Dust rose everywhere as the arena floor continued cracking beneath them. Finally, both fighters suddenly jumped back at the same time.

They landed several meters apart and stared at each other cautiously. For a brief moment the arena became quiet.

Then steam suddenly began erupting from Ciao Xiaoshan’s body. His muscles expanded and his eyes slowly turned red as a powerful aura burst out from him.

Han Leu’s eyes widened slightly. Lin Xiaotian however immediately understood what had happened.
