Chapter 4: Celestial Origin Supreme Sect

At last, he looked toward the sect gate and saw the disciples behind him murmuring the sect’s name in awe. Then his gaze shifted to Yan Feng. His eyes twitched violently at Yan Feng’s utterly nonchalant expression.

The boy had woken up that morning and eaten like a thousand-year starving ghost. When Lin Xiaotian explained the circumstances to him, he immediately thanked him for his assistance and agreed to become a disciple after hearing about the sect’s background and prospects.

But the moment Lin Xiaotian casually mentioned that he himself was the Sect Master, the man stared at him with the kind of look a ghost might give the living utter disbelief mixed with horror. Without hesitation, he turned and tried to run, shouting that he would repay the favor someday.

Unfortunately for him, Lin Xiaotian caught him within a few steps.

"You can’t just desert the sect like that," Lin Xiaotian said, his tone calm but firm. After a bit of sugarcoating and not-so-subtle persuasion, Yan Feng finally accepted his circumstances and reluctantly followed him.

Just you wait, you little gremlin, Lin Xiaotian thought inwardly. Once we enter the sect, you’ll realize this is the greatest opportunity of your life.

As soon as they entered the sect, Lin felt that familiar surge of invincibility wash over him again. It was as if the very heavens bent to his will within these grounds.

A slow smirk spread across his face as he looked at the disciples. Their expressions were priceless.

Dense spiritual energy drifted through the air like visible mist. Majestic pavilions floated among vast mountains. Towering structures pierced the heavens themselves, radiating ancient authority. The entire sect looked like a sacred realm descended upon the mortal world.

Lin felt immensely satisfied then he glanced at Yan Feng.

The man’s mouth was hanging so wide it looked like it could fit an ostrich egg. His earlier reluctance had completely vanished, replaced by pure shock.

Good, Lin thought. Now you understand. With a casual wave of his hand, Lin unleashed his invincible power. The disciples felt their bodies grow light as feathers as he carried them all through the air toward the Main Hall. None of them dared to speak.

Upon arriving, Lin stood before them with calm authority gazing at them.

First, he distributed tokens to each disciple. The tokens shimmered faintly, engraved with the sect’s emblem. They represented their identity as official disciples and contained basic information about the sect. Those at the Qi Refining realm and above could sense the information directly through spiritual perception.

Seeing that some were body-refining cultivators, Lin also handed them a manual he had personally compiled during his time here.

Then he looked at everyone and said firmly: "You are now the first-generation disciples of this sect. From today onward, all of you will cultivate this body-refining technique and this circulation art."

With a flick of his sleeve, two ancient manuals appeared in his hands.

The first was a top-tier Heaven-level body refinement technique:

"Heaven-Suppressing Eternal Body Scripture."

A supreme art that tempered flesh, bones, organs, and marrow, forging a body capable of suppressing mountains and enduring heavenly tribulation.

The second was a top-tier Heaven-level circulation technique:

"Primordial Celestial Grand Circulation Art."

An unparalleled cultivation method that absorbed spiritual energy like a vortex, refined it to extreme purity, and established an unshakable foundation.

The disciples trembled as they sensed the profound aura radiating from the manuals.

Yan Feng swallowed hard as he finally understood This truly might be the greatest opportunity of his life.

Lin soon led them to the Testing Stone.

It stood at the center of a vast square, radiating a heavy and ancient aura. This was no ordinary artifact it was a top-tier treasure capable of measuring an individual’s potential in all aspects of cultivation: spiritual roots, body refinement, alchemy, weapon forging, soul arts, and more. Nothing could hide from its judgment.

"Step forward one by one," Lin ordered calmly.

The disciples approached in turns, placing their palms on the stone. One after another, faint lights flickered across its surface. Talent in cultivation: average. Alchemy: average. Soul arts: mediocre. Weapon refinement: passable.

Lin sighed inwardly. All of them had workable foundations, but their potential plateaued sharply after the Foundation Establishment Realm. Formidable bottlenecks lay ahead of them. None displayed the brilliance of a true heaven-defying genius.

Then the boy stepped forward.

He was the one Lin had nearly kicked out earlier after seeing his physique. At first glance, he didn’t look like a teenager at all his frame was mature, his features stern, more like a man in his thirties. But when Lin had checked his bone age, it was undeniably fifteen.

The boy placed his hand on the stone and a deep golden light flared. Lin’s eyes narrowed: Physique potential: Dao Condensation Realm but Cultivation potential: average.

Lin’s face slowly lit up. A physique capable of reaching Dao Condensation, yet ordinary cultivation talent? This was no coincidence.

The boy clearly possessed some kind of hidden body constitution. Perhaps it had yet to awaken.

Lin suppressed his excitement. It didn’t matter for now. A hidden dragon was still a dragon.

He waited for more surprises but alas none came anymore that was Until Yan Feng stepped forward.

The moment his hand touched the Testing Stone Boom.

The entire artifact trembled violently.

Light erupted in every direction. The measurements for cultivation, physique, soul, alchemy every single parameter shot past their limits. The inscriptions on the stone began cracking as if unable to withstand the evaluation.

Then Crack!

The stone burst apart silence filled the square all the disciples stood frozen.

Lin, however, was laughing madly on the inside. So, it’s that kind of monster...

He composed himself and turned to face them all, his expression once again calm and authoritative. "Good."

His voice echoed across the square. "You are now disciples of this sect. From today onward, you will cultivate diligently. Within three months, all of you must reach at least the Qi Transformation Realm."

The disciples inhaled sharply. Lin’s gaze swept across them, sharp as a blade.

"In three months, there will be a competition." His lips curved slightly. "And only the strong will stand at the top."

"You should all give it your absolute all," Lin said firmly, his gaze sweeping across them one last time.

With that, he dismissed them. The disciples slowly dispersed, still shaken by everything they had witnessed.

Lin then beckoned Yan Feng with a slight curl of his finger. "You, stay behind."

Once the others had gone far enough, he turned and said calmly, "Follow me."

Yan Feng hesitated for only a moment before stepping forward.
