After a long silence, Bai Lan finally spoke up slowly, "Tomorrow is the weekend already—the archery thing, how are you preparing for it? Don’t let me down then."

Ye Tian pretended he didn’t know what she was talking about and asked back, "Archery? What archery?"

"What’s wrong with you? Didn’t I tell you about it last time? How could you forget!" Bai Lan was somewhat angry, suddenly noticing the smirk on Ye Tian’s face, she immediately realized and scolded, "You bad egg, you’re tricking me, aren’t you?"

"What a joke, how could I forget a date with the beautiful Bai? I might forget to eat, but I’d never forget that."

"Is the beautiful Bai feeling lonely recently? You must be using this as an excuse to get close to me, aren’t you? Hehehe, you can’t fool me with that," Ye Tian said with a teasing smile.

Bai Lan rolled her eyes at him annoyed and cursed, "Don’t flatter yourself! At most, you are just the third wheel. Dream on!"

Ye Tian wasn’t offended, and instead took a slice of papaya from her plate and started eating it, smacking his lips as he said, "Your melons are already that big, and you still eat papaya all the time. Do you really want to become a bombshell or what?"

Bai Lan bowed her head to continue eating, but suddenly, a pop sound came from her clothes behind her and her face changed, thinking to herself that this was bad news.

"The clasp burst!" Bai Lan thought miserably.

"Oh my gosh, this can happen too!" Ye Tian’s eyes widened.

"It’s all because of your jinx!" Bai Lan vented her anger on Ye Tian, his "cursed mouth" must have been consecrated; she never had such an incident, yet it happened today while dining with him.

"Cough cough, what does this have to do with me? How come it falls on me, who did I bother?" Ye Tian said, feeling quite aggrieved.

Bai Lan didn’t dare move, fearing that any movement would truly embarrass her.

"What am I supposed to do? It could’ve broken any time but had to pop here in the cafeteria. I certainly can’t strip and fix it here. It’s utterly embarrassing, all because of Ye Tian’s cursed mouth," Bai Lan was almost crying.

From time to time, colleagues who had finished eating passed by, politely greeting Director Bai, making her even more embarrassed.

Ye Tian chuckled wickedly, then stopped talking, merely focusing on eating. Occasionally, he would look up in awe at the sight.

Exceedingly embarrassed, Bai Lan couldn’t help but plead, "Ye Tian, think of something."

"What can I do? It’s not like you can take your clothes off here," Ye Tian shrugged helplessly.

Bai Lan was quite at a loss, but if she didn’t take action, she couldn’t sit here forever.

Bai Lan had no choice but to pin her hopes on Ye Tian.

"Cough cough, alright, who makes me so chivalrous? I’ll help you this time," Ye Tian put down his utensils and walked behind Bai Lan, extending his hands to rescue her from this predicament.

"What are you doing!" Bai Lan was startled by his actions.

"I’m helping you, what did you think?" Ye Tian sounded nonchalant.

As he spoke, he quickly found the strap and awkwardly fastened the clasp.

Bai Lan sat still in the chair, her heart pounding wildly.

At that moment, Bai Lan only hoped no one noticed them, praying no colleagues had seen Ye Tian’s actions, otherwise, her reputation would be completely ruined and even jumping into the Yellow River couldn’t cleanse it.

Fortunately, although Ye Tian was clumsy, he wasn’t stupid and soon got it done.

"Mission accomplished!" Ye Tian clapped his hands joyously.

"Nonsense, I felt it for so long, of course I know," Ye Tian suddenly leaned close to her ear and whispered with a smirk, "I not only know your size, but I also know there are two moles up there, hehehe."

Having said that, Ye Tian immediately got up and left, leaving a dumbfounded Bai Lan sitting beside the table, the expression on her face was truly tearful. Her body had been completely exposed by that jerk!

"Don’t forget the archery this weekend!" Bai Lan suddenly stood up and reminded as she saw Ye Tian walking away.

Ye Tian looked back with a mischievous laugh, flicking his bangs confidently, "Don’t worry, when it comes to playing dirty, I’m a professional." Saying this, he swaggered into the hallway.

Bai Lan flopped back into her chair, just as she was beginning to calm down, when suddenly a muffled bang came from behind her, her face changed, and she panicked immediately—Ye Tian, the big fool, hadn’t fastened the button properly!

Scanning the vicinity, thankfully it was getting late, and her colleagues had all gone, leaving the cafeteria nearly empty.

Without another word, she immediately took out her phone and dialed Ye Tian’s number, Bai Lan yelled, "Ye Tian, you get back here, I promise I won’t kill you!"
