"Eastern Continent?"

"Crafty demon monkey, crossing oceans just to seek your demise, let this King send you on your way!"

The Gold and Silver Kings sneered, raising the Liangyi Blade, and struck down at Wukong.

Six-Eared put away his Divine Skills.

Approaching Lu Qingfeng, "Zhu Zi, even the two of us joining forces can't beat this demon; how could that foolish stone monkey stand a chance!"

Upon hearing this, Lu Qingfeng turned to look at Six-Eared and saw his unfriendly gaze and dissatisfied expression, as if he was facing a life-and-death enemy when looking at the stone monkey.

"Arch-enemy?"

Lu Qingfeng sneered, "Only mortals speak of fate. Judging the cause by its effect, such dullness."

His thoughts were churning.

Lu Qingfeng looked up at the sky then westward, carefully sensing. It seemed there was no Great Divine Power Practitioner secretly watching. But he couldn't be sure; after all, his cultivation was limited. If there was truly a top-tier Great Power observing, he probably wouldn't detect it.

He didn't wish to entangle himself too much with this main character of the Western Tour, but if he left now, abandoning Sun Wukong alone – although Lu Qingfeng was certain the Great Saint would not face danger – the Great Saint might not know and would possibly hold a grudge for avoiding the situation.

"One is trapped in the game."

"We are not masters of our own destiny."

Lu Qingfeng suddenly realized, pondering in his heart.

"Zhu Zi."

"What's wrong?"

Six-Eared saw that Lu Qingfeng had been silent for a while and looked somewhat troubled, so he quickly asked.

Lu Qingfeng came back to his senses.

Seeing Six-Eared, he smiled, "It's nothing."

His heart was now calm.

He was just waiting for Wukong to be repelled by the Gold and Silver Kings, then he would take Six-Eared far away to cultivate in seclusion. Except for showing up as the True and False Monkey Kings for a cameo, he would not get involved in any other events concerning the Western Tour.

To avoid attracting too many karmic ties.

His mind was set.

He then watched the scene unfold.

"Demon monkey, meet your death!"

The Demon King bellowed and, grabbing the Liangyi Blade, chopped down, while Wukong charged in to collide and confront. The Demon King dodged swiftly and picked up the Liangyi Blade, striking down at Wukong's head again.

Wukong quickly retreated, and the Demon King missed his swing.

Seeing the ferocity of the Demon King, Wukong used his Downy Hairs technique, pulled a strand of hair, chewed it in his mouth and spat it out towards the sky, shouting —

"Transform!"

Instantly, he turned into three to two hundred small monkeys, gathering around.

"Lawless Incarnation."

Six-Eared saw this and recognized the skill, he too had practiced it, but he scoffed: "Such Divine Skills are no match for this demon."

Practicing the Lawless Incarnation, changing with divinity, omnipotent and omniscient.

Sun Wukong had learned Divine Skills from Master Puti, with eighty-four thousand hairs, each could transform, responding to situations as the heart desires.

Those small monkeys, with quick eyes and jumping ability, dodged the blade and spear, evading harm. Watch them leap forward and back, climbing on top, surrounding the Demon King, hugging and pulling, threading through the legs, lifting up the fur, poking eyes, twisting noses, playing…

Quite a spectacle.

"Ha!"

However, the Demon King brandished the blade in a whirl, executed a battle strategy of 'hiding the head amongst the many directions in night combat,' and slashed away all the small monkeys, turning them back into strands of hair that fell.

"Also trying to show off?!"

He sneered, completely unafraid of the Divine Skills.

Six-Eared saw this and also broke into a wide grin.

Lu Qingfeng watched quietly.

"How dare you underestimate me!"

The stone monkey was furious, but saw that the Monkey King, with all the Divine Skills he had learned in the Three Star Cave, was still no match for the Gold and Silver Kings.

Embarking on the journey without triumph.

The first battle not going well.

Making this fiery Monkey King feel anger, annoyance, and shame, his face, within his earshot and at the edge of his gaze, blushing bright red, as if it was a monkey's behind.

Yelling loudly.

"You think I lack weapons, not knowing that I can hook the moon at the sky's edge with my two hands!"

Sun Wukong mobilized his True Qi.

Mana swept across, running his Divine Skills, ready to lift the entire Gold and Silver Mountain beneath his feet, to crush the Demon King to death.

Lu Qingfeng saw this and immediately thought, "Not good!"

This monkey was ultimately a novice, having trained for just three years; his combat experience was even scarcer. Although he could handle those weaker than himself with ease, against the Gold and Silver Kings, fueled by rage, he lost his composure.

Bending down to lift the mountain, not realizing he exposed his vulnerable back to the Demon King.

A fatal weakness.

His life was in danger!

Indeed—

"Ha ha!"

"Your life is forfeit!"

But heard the Gold and Silver Kings burst into laughter, the Liangyi Blade in his hands grew a thousand times larger, like the Immortal Slaying Saber in the Immortal Slaying Stage Above Nine Heavens, chopping straight down at Sun Wukong's back.

This Monkey King was not the future Great Saint.

Only in his twenties or thirties, he had not yet spent three hundred years cultivating in Huaguo Mountain, had not achieved the Xuan Technique, and did not possess a Golden Body. If he took this hit, he was likely to be cleaved in two on the spot, causing a great disaster.

Reluctant to intervene,

Yet curious if anyone would come to the monkey's rescue.

On one hand, reluctant,

On the other, worried about incurring the wrath of the Saint.

"Difficult, difficult, difficult!"

With a grit of his teeth, Lu Qingfeng could no longer care much, following his heart he shook his green bamboo staff, shouting: "Evil fiend, cease your violence!"

With that said,

The bamboo staff flew horizontally, instantly blocking the Liangyi Blade, saving the Monkey King's life.

Bang bang bang!

Clang clang clang!

He began to fight against the Demon King.

Upon seeing this, Six-Eared also rushed forward, helping Lu Qingfeng.

The Monkey King was shocked, fearful, and angry, seeing the Demon King blocked, he did not rise, just holding his breath—

"Hey!"

"Lift for me!"

Boom boom boom!

He actually lifted the enormous Gold and Silver Mountain.

"Both of you—step aside, watch me—watch me smash this old demon!"

Wukong, exerting his strength, gasps for breath as he lifts a high mountain, calling out to Lu Qingfeng and Six-Eared.

The two brothers see the towering and heavy mountain.

They dare not be smashed by it.

Hastily taking a point beneath their feet, they each leap out of the battle circle, separating from the Gold and Silver Kings.

"Ah!"

"Die!"

The Monkey King, upon seeing this, huffs and throws the Gold and Silver Mountain right at the Gold and Silver Kings.

This move,

only hears the ground shake,

continuing with a thunderous roar.

"Oyoyo!"

"I'm exhausted!"

Wukong stops using his Fatian Xiangdi divine power and collapses on the ground gasping for air.

"Exhausted, exhausted, exhausted!"

Six-Eared also tired from the battle, finds a spot on a square blue stone to rest.

Raising his head to look at Wukong,

just as the stone monkey also turns his gaze to him.

The eyes of the two demon monkeys meet, any hostility lessened by combat's shared ordeal. Affection grows through the fight.

Wukong looks at Six-Eared: "Thanks for the assist."

He's clearly aware of the prior peril, and does not dare to withhold gratitude for a life-saving favor.

Six-Eared snorts, nodding indifferently: "It was nothing."

Lu Qingfeng finds the scene amusing.

Suddenly, he looks down at the collapsed mountain below, his brows furrowing in an instant.

Six-Eared and Wukong also look down the mountain, their expressions change.

But they see—

Shh!

A flash of a saber's light, a figure in a gold and silver robe emerges from the cleaved inverted mountain; if not the Gold and Silver Demon King, then who?

"He's not dead!"

Wukong bursts forth in anger.

Six-Eared soars into the air.

Lu Qingfeng looks at the Demon King, also startled for a moment.

Some distance from the Gold and Silver Mountain, on a high mountain amid the clouds, auspicious mists swirl where a monastery is nestled. There, the sound of a bell rings melodiously along with the sight of drifting incense smoke.

Inside, resplendent in finery, a room filled with dignity.

All disciples together chant the Sutra of the Lotus Flower, the senior monk gently taps a golden cast bell.

Before the Buddha, offerings of Immortal Fruit and Immortal Flower; on the table, an array of vegetarian dishes and delicacies. The glittering treasure candle casts golden flames like rainbows; the rich true aroma sends jade smoke wafting into colorful mists.

This is after the heart finds tranquility in discourse, and white clouds wrap themselves around pine boughs. The mind sheathes the wisdom sword, banishing the demons, while the benevolent gathering of the Prajnaparamita soars high.

In the midst of it all, a Bodhisattva suddenly looks up and gazes toward the east, an inward cry of alarm: "This monkey has not yet reached Huaguo Mountain, how's it fighting someone halfway there?"

Upon closer inspection,

they see Wukong and two demon immortals collectively battling the Demon King, repeatedly bested, struggling to cope.

The Bodhisattva's face looks troubled: "Where did things go wrong?"

This fight,

if this teaches the monkey about the might of others, to become more cautious, how can he then dare to recklessly seek treasure at the Dragon Palace?!

Lingji Bodhisattva's eyes move, looking towards a place twenty million miles to the north. With a motion, a ray of golden light is released, her order following: "Yellow Wind, swiftly bring forth the wind, blow that monkey off the Gold and Silver Mountain to the land of Huaguo Mountain in the Eastern Continent!"

In the north, a mountain.

Winds rise and clouds surge.

A Demon King is cultivating within the mountain; suddenly, he opens his eyes.

His gaze holds a mix of wariness and resentment, he snorts coldly looking eastward, and notices the chaotic battle in the mountain, four figures strutting their stuff, among them two monkey heads: "Dog Lingji, which one is she even talking about?!"

With but a single glance,

too lazy to differentiate, the Demon King opens his mouth towards the location of Xun Land and blows a gust—suddenly, a burst of Yellow Wind rises from the void.

In no time, it reaches the Gold and Silver Mountain.

Whoooo!

The wind blows fiercely, sending sand and rocks flying, the sky darkened; with careful control, it blows both monkeys towards Huaguo Mountain by the East Sea. Another sees Daoist Qing Shan grab one of the monkeys and get blown into the East Sea together.

The Demon King pays no further mind,

simply glancing southward with a cold laugh, then closes his eyes, falling back into his cultivation.

Now the tale splits in two: the Bodhisattva speaks, the Demon King acts on a whim, and Lu Qingfeng suffers greatly.

The three allies, locked in struggle with the Demon King, all find themselves outmatched, being continuously pushed back. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a surge of Yellow Wind erupts, causing the trio to stagger and be swept off their feet, on the verge of being scattered.

"The Sanmei Divine Wind?!"

Lu Qingfeng is the first to recognize the Yellow Wind,

With a mix of shock and doubt but no time for thorough thought, his quick reaction grabs a hold of Six-Eared.

"Zhu Zi ah wu wu wu wu wu—"

Six-Eared opens his mouth to speak, but is silenced as the Yellow Wind fills his mouth, unable to utter a word.

The brothers are tumbling and tossing around disoriented, utterly unable to steady themselves.

With this blowing,

unaware of how long it lasts,

when they next open their eyes, they find themselves standing amidst mountains and waters.

Lu Qingfeng and Six-Eared stand on the ground still dizzy, their feet unsteady, staggering and tottering, their mouths dry, eyes reddened to the point of nearly being unable to open due to the fierce wind.

"What a plight."

"Does every action indeed have its consequence?!"

Lu Qingfeng is uncomfortably blown around.

In the later Earth Immortal World, he was always the one calling his big brother to whip up the Yellow Wind and blow others away, never before had he been subjected to the whims of the Sanmei Divine Wind like this.

He feels both helpless and amused.

"Zhu Zi Zhu Zi!"

"Where did this peculiar wind come from, it's made my head swell!"

Six-Eared shouts in a panic.

Just as Lu Qingfeng steadies himself, the frantic Six-Eared nearly knocks him down again. He grabs the monkey and suddenly hears a surprised yelp—

"Eh?"

"Isn't this my Huaguo Mountain? A strange gust has actually blown me back home?"
