Young Master Vance Has An Enchanting Wife!-Chapter 380: As Expected, This Guy Knows Poisonous Insect Technique
May Morgan felt uncomfortable as he stared at her with his wicked eyes. She said coldly, "What do you want? Money? I can have Victor Grant send it to you."
"Ha." May Morgan’s words immediately elicited a more scornful sneer from Logan Vance: "Do you think I’m short on money? Let me tell you, even though I haven’t been able to take back the Vance Clan from Vincent Vance, I have no less money than Victor Grant."
After speaking, Logan Vance suddenly stood up slowly from the sofa and walked over to May Morgan and Monica Lambert. He first glanced at May Morgan’s charming face and said with a slightly deep voice, "You’re indeed under the love poison; even I can’t resist the allure of your face."
Love poison?
May Morgan raised her head in astonishment to look at him, not understanding what he was saying: "What are you talking about? What love poison?"
Logan Vance reached out and pinched May Morgan’s delicate face, studying it carefully for a long while. His eyes contained both confusion and a coveting desire toward May Morgan.
But May Morgan knew his gaze was different from Victor Grant’s. He looked at her like he was observing merchandise, something he had long craved, but without any affection.
"Let’s make a transaction. You give me a bottle of your blood, and I’ll release this girl. How about it?"
Logan Vance suddenly let go of May Morgan’s face, asking her with a cold smile.
How much is a bottle of blood? Would it drain her completely? Plus, why should she trust this guy’s words?
"Okay, but I want you to remove the poisonous insect from Monica Lambert’s body right now, or I won’t agree to your request."
May Morgan took a deep breath, first trying to stabilize Logan Vance.
Logan Vance thought May Morgan’s request was unreasonable. He was the one in control of the situation now, and yet this cheeky girl dared to set conditions for him?
"Don’t try to set conditions with me; you’re not qualified!" Logan Vance turned and had someone bring in a very old porcelain bottle and a sharp knife: "Don’t worry, this amount of blood is nothing to you; aren’t your wounds able to heal quickly?"
May Morgan glanced at the small bottle he handed over, feeling that the patterns on it looked familiar somehow.
She reached out to take the bottle and knife from Logan Vance’s hand but didn’t act immediately. Even if her wounds could heal quickly, the cut would be quite painful, right? Besides, who knew what this guy wanted her blood for?
"Aren’t you afraid of my blood?" May Morgan toyed with the knife in her hand, deliberately raising her head to look at Logan Vance with a wicked smile.
With her reminder, Logan Vance unconsciously took a step back: "Stop talking nonsense, hurry up!"
Last time, May Morgan only spilled a little blood on him, burning his skin and leaving a huge scar, which must have left a deep shadow on Logan Vance. So seeing May Morgan looking at him with that kind of gaze made him a bit nervous.
May Morgan glanced at his arm and was secretly surprised to see the previous scar had actually healed.
Could Logan Vance also have the ability to heal scars? Just like her, did he also fall victim to some poisonous insect technique? But if both were affected by it, why was he afraid of her blood?
Could it be that the Dragon Insect inside her could suppress the poisonous insects in this jerk?
Seeing May Morgan holding the knife absent-mindedly, Logan Vance impatiently ordered her: "Hurry up, don’t make me get rough!"
Logan Vance waved his hand, causing several of his subordinates to intentionally gather around, while he himself deliberately stayed on the periphery, standing at a distance from May Morgan.
May Morgan looked at Logan Vance, suddenly feeling a bit hesitant.
She held the bottle in her hand and examined it once more, finally confirming that she had indeed seen these patterns before; her sister Melanie Morgan had a bottle back then with identical patterns, and inside were poisonous insects.
So now the bottle Logan Vance gave her must have something strange inside too?
"You first remove the poisonous insects from Monica Lambert, then I’ll do whatever you want." May Morgan calmly negotiated with Logan Vance, who was not far away.
Logan Vance hesitated for a moment, then looked at the knife and small bottle in her hand before waving at his subordinates to move aside.
"Fine, but I don’t trust you." After speaking, Logan Vance turned around and retrieved a pair of shiny handcuffs from the nearby cabinet, tossing them to his subordinate, indicating for him to handcuff May Morgan.
"Handcuff her."
May Morgan calculated the time. Victor Grant should be arriving soon. At this point, as long as she could first coax Logan Vance into releasing the poisonous insects from Monica Lambert’s body, it would be fine. No matter how formidable Logan Vance was, Victor Grant was not someone easily dealt with.
"I won’t run away, you can rest assured." May Morgan obediently extended her hands to let that person cuff them.
Seeing May Morgan much more compliant this time, Logan Vance, still on guard, finally moved over to Monica Lambert. He glanced at her, seeing her trembling as she looked at him, as if she saw a devil. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦
"Am I really that scary?" Logan Vance curled his lips into a twisted smile, grabbing Monica Lambert’s face and forcing her to lift her head.
In fact, if Logan Vance hadn’t put the weird insect in her mouth, just judging by his looks and demeanor, Monica Lambert might liken him to her dream lover. But now, his every move, every gesture seemed like the reaper in Monica Lambert’s eyes.
Monica Lambert looked up at the man in front of her, wanting to speak but finding her mouth tied up as if she couldn’t utter a word.
Logan Vance extended his long fingers and gently pried open Monica Lambert’s mouth, then slipped his index finger inside.
Monica Lambert could only feel her throat itch, her whole body’s muscles going numb. When Logan Vance withdrew his finger, Monica Lambert’s throat seemed to have something slowly crawling out. That feeling was one she would never forget in her lifetime.
A ten-centimeter-long red worm slowly crawled out of Monica Lambert’s mouth, moving along Logan Vance’s fingertips before swiftly burrowing into Logan Vance’s body and disappearing.
"It’s done!" Logan Vance released the woman in his hand and turned to speak to May Morgan.
Monica Lambert felt as if her body had been drained of bones, completely devoid of strength. The sensation of the worm crawling out of her throat had been vividly clear; at this moment, all she wanted was to vomit, but her throat itched terribly, leaving her speechless.
"Monica, hurry up and leave." Seeing Monica Lambert was fine, May Morgan quickly gestured for Monica to leave.
Monica Lambert struggled to hold her neck and looked up at May Morgan, "What about you?"
"I’m fine, go on first. I haven’t settled accounts with him yet." May Morgan smiled faintly, signaling for Monica Lambert to leave quickly.
This place was indeed too terrifying. Monica Lambert gave Logan Vance a difficult look and finally mustered the courage to get up and run away.
